1 Dywedodd wrth ei ddisgyblion, "Y mae achosion cwymp yn rhwym o ddod, ond gwae'r sawl sy'n gyfrifol amdanynt;
1And he said unto the disciples, `It is impossible for the stumbling blocks not to come, but wo [to him] through whom they come;
2 byddai'n well iddo fod wedi ei daflu i'r mr maen melin ynghrog am ei wddf, nag iddo fod yn achos cwymp i un o'r rhai bychain hyn.
2it is more profitable to him if a weighty millstone is put round about his neck, and he hath been cast into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 Cymerwch ofal. Os pecha dy gyfaill, cerydda ef; os edifarha, maddau iddo;
3`Take heed to yourselves, and, if thy brother may sin in regard to thee, rebuke him, and if he may reform, forgive him,
4 os pecha yn dy erbyn saith gwaith mewn diwrnod, ac eto troi'n l atat saith gwaith gan ddweud, 'Y mae'n edifar gennyf', maddau iddo."
4and if seven times in the day he may sin against thee, and seven times in the day may turn back to thee, saying, I reform; thou shalt forgive him.`
5 Meddai'r apostolion wrth yr Arglwydd, "Cryfha ein ffydd."
5And the apostles said to the Lord, `Add to us faith;`
6 Ac meddai'r Arglwydd, "Pe bai gennych ffydd gymaint hedyn mwstard, fe allech ddweud wrth y forwydden hon, 'Coder dy wreiddiau a phlanner di yn y mr', a byddai'n ufuddhau i chwi.
6and the Lord said, `If ye had faith as a grain of mustard, ye would have said to this sycamine, Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.
7 "Os oes gan un ohonoch was sy'n aredig neu'n bugeilio, a fydd yn dweud wrtho pan ddaw i mewn o'r caeau, 'Tyrd yma ar unwaith a chymer dy le wrth y bwrdd'?
7`But, who is he of you — having a servant ploughing or feeding — who, to him having come in out of the field, will say, Having come near, recline at meat?
8 Na, yr hyn a ddywed fydd, 'Paratoa swper imi; torcha dy wisg a gweina arnaf nes imi orffen bwyta ac yfed; ac wedyn cei fwyta ac yfed dy hun.'
8but will not [rather] say to him, Prepare what I may sup, and having girded thyself about, minister to me, till I eat and drink, and after these things thou shalt eat and drink?
9 A yw'n diolch i'w was am gyflawni'r gorchmynion a gafodd?
9Hath he favour to that servant because he did the things directed? I think not.
10 Felly chwithau; pan fyddwch wedi cyflawni'r holl orchmynion a gawsoch, dywedwch, 'Gweision ydym, heb unrhyw deilyngdod; cyflawni ein dyletswydd a wnaethom.'"
10`So also ye, when ye may have done all the things directed you, say — We are unprofitable servants, because that which we owed to do — we have done.`
11 Yr oedd ef, ar ei ffordd i Jerwsalem, yn mynd trwy'r wlad rhwng Samaria a Galilea,
11And it came to pass, in his going on to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee,
12 ac yn mynd i mewn i ryw bentref, pan ddaeth deg o ddynion gwahanglwyfus i gyfarfod ag ef. Safasant bellter oddi wrtho
12and he entering into a certain village, there met him ten leprous men, who stood afar off,
13 a chodi eu lleisiau arno: "Iesu, feistr, trugarha wrthym."
13and they lifted up the voice, saying, `Jesus, master, deal kindly with us;`
14 Gwelodd ef hwy ac meddai wrthynt, "Ewch i'ch dangos eich hunain i'r offeiriaid." Ac ar eu ffordd yno, fe'u glanhawyd hwy.
14and having seen [them], he said to them, `Having gone on, shew yourselves to the priests;` and it came to pass, in their going, they were cleansed,
15 Ac un ohonynt, pan welodd ei fod wedi ei iachu, a ddychwelodd gan ogoneddu Duw llais uchel.
15and one of them having seen that he was healed did turn back, with a loud voice glorifying God,
16 Syrthiodd ar ei wyneb wrth draed Iesu gan ddiolch iddo; a Samariad oedd ef.
16and he fell upon [his] face at his feet, giving thanks to him, and he was a Samaritan.
17 Atebodd Iesu, "Oni lanhawyd y deg? Ble mae'r naw?
17And Jesus answering said, `Were not the ten cleansed, and the nine — where?
18 Ai'r estron hwn yn unig a gafwyd i ddychwelyd ac i roi gogoniant i Dduw?"
18There were not found who did turn back to give glory to God, except this alien;`
19 Yna meddai wrtho, "Cod, a dos ar dy hynt; dy ffydd sydd wedi dy iachu di."
19and he said to him, `Having risen, be going on, thy faith hath saved thee.`
20 Gofynnwyd iddo gan y Phariseaid pryd y deuai teyrnas Dduw. Atebodd hwy, "Nid rhywbeth i wylio amdano yw dyfodiad teyrnas Dduw.
20And having been questioned by the Pharisees, when the reign of God doth come, he answered them, and said, `The reign of God doth not come with observation;
21 Ni bydd pobl yn dweud, 'Dyma hi', neu 'Dacw hi'; edrychwch, y mae teyrnas Dduw yn eich plith chwi."
21nor shall they say, Lo, here; or lo, there; for lo, the reign of God is within you.`
22 Ac meddai wrth ei ddisgyblion, "Daw dyddiau pan fyddwch yn dyheu am gael gweld un o ddyddiau Mab y Dyn, ac ni welwch mohono.
22And he said unto his disciples, `Days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and ye shall not behold [it];
23 Dywedant wrthych, 'Dacw ef', neu 'Dyma ef'; peidiwch mynd, peidiwch rhedeg ar eu hl.
23and they shall say to you, Lo, here; or lo, there; ye may not go away, nor follow;
24 Oherwydd fel y fellten sy'n fflachio o'r naill gwr o'r nef hyd y llall, felly y bydd Mab y Dyn yn ei ddydd ef.
24for as the lightning that is lightening out of the one [part] under heaven, to the other part under heaven doth shine, so shall be also the Son of Man in his day;
25 Ond yn gyntaf y mae'n rhaid iddo ddioddef llawer, a chael ei wrthod gan y genhedlaeth hon.
25and first it behoveth him to suffer many things, and to be rejected by this generation.
26 Ac fel y bu hi yn nyddiau Noa, felly hefyd y bydd hi yn nyddiau Mab y Dyn:
26`And, as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man;
27 yr oedd pobl yn bwyta, yn yfed, yn cymryd gwragedd, yn cael gwu375?r, hyd y dydd yr aeth Noa i mewn i'r arch ac y daeth y dilyw a difa pawb.
27they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, till the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the deluge came, and destroyed all;
28 Fel y bu hi yn nyddiau Lot: yr oedd pobl yn bwyta, yn yfed, yn prynu, yn gwerthu, yn plannu, yn adeiladu;
28in like manner also, as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
29 ond y dydd yr aeth Lot allan o Sodom, fe lawiodd tn a brwmstan o'r nef a difa pawb.
29and on the day Lot went forth from Sodom, He rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed all.
30 Yn union felly y bydd hi yn y dydd y datguddir Mab y Dyn.
30`According to these things it shall be, in the day the Son of Man is revealed;
31 Y dydd hwnnw, os bydd rhywun ar y to, a'i bethau yn y tu375?, peidied mynd i lawr i'w cipio; a'r un modd peidied neb fydd yn y cae throi yn ei l.
31in that day, he who shall be on the house top, and his vessels in the house, let him not come down to take them away; and he in the field, in like manner, let him not turn backward;
32 Cofiwch wraig Lot.
32remember the wife of Lot.
33 Pwy bynnag a gais gadw ei fywyd ei hun, fe'i cyll, a phwy bynnag a'i cyll, fe'i ceidw yn fyw.
33Whoever may seek to save his life, shall lose it; and whoever may lose it, shall preserve it.
34 Rwy'n dweud wrthych, y nos honno bydd dau mewn un gwely; cymerir y naill a gadewir y llall.
34`I say to you, In that night, there shall be two men on one couch, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left;
35 Bydd dwy wraig yn malu yn yr un lle; cymerir y naill a gadewir y llall."
35two women shall be grinding at the same place together, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left;
36 [{cf15i Bydd dau yn y cae; cymerir y naill a gadewir y llall.}]
36two men shall be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other left.`
37 Ac atebasant hwythau ef, "Ble, Arglwydd?" Meddai ef wrthynt, "Lle bydd y gelain, yno yr heidia'r fwlturiaid."
37And they answering say to him, `Where, sir?` and he said to them, `Where the body [is], there will the eagles be gathered together.`
