1 Ar y dydd cyntaf o'r ail fis yn yr ail flwyddyn wedi i'r Israeliaid ddod allan o wlad yr Aifft, llefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses ym mhabell y cyfarfod yn anialwch Sinai, a dweud,
1And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first of the second month, in the second year of their going out of the land of Egypt, saying:
2 "Gwnewch gyfrifiad o holl gynulliad pobl Israel yn �l eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, gan restru enw pob gwryw fesul un.
2`Take ye up the sum of all the company of the sons of Israel by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names — every male by their polls;
3 Yr wyt ti ac Aaron i gyfrif, fesul mintai, bawb yn Israel sy'n ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
3from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host in Israel, ye do number them by their hosts, thou and Aaron;
4 Gyda chwi bydd un dyn o bob llwyth, sef y penteulu.
4and with you there is a man for a tribe, each is a head to the house of his fathers.
5 Dyma enwau'r dynion a fydd gyda chwi. O Reuben: Elisur fab Sedeur;
5`And these [are] the names of the men who stand with you: `For Reuben — Elizur son of Shedeur.
6 o Simeon: Selumiel fab Surisadai;
6`For Simeon — Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.
7 o Jwda: Nahson fab Amminadab;
7`For Judah — Nahshon son of Amminadab.
8 o Issachar: Nethanel fab Suar;
8`For Issachar — Nathaneel son of Zuar.
9 o Sabulon: Eliab fab Helon.
9`For Zebulun — Eliab son of Helon.
10 O feibion Joseff: o Effraim, Elisama fab Ammihud, ac o Manasse, Gamaliel fab Pedasur;
10`For the sons of Joseph — for Ephraim: Elishama son of Ammihud: for Manasseh — Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.
11 o Benjamin: Abidan fab Gideoni;
11`For Benjamin — Abidan son of Gideoni.
12 o Dan: Ahieser fab Ammisadai;
12`For Dan — Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.
13 o Aser: Pagiel fab Ocran;
13`For Asher — Pagiel son of Ocran.
14 o Gad: Eliasaff fab Reuel;
14`For Gad — Eliasaph son of Deuel.
15 o Nafftali: Ahira fab Enan."
15`For Naphtali — Ahira son of Enan.`
16 Dyma'r rhai a ddewiswyd o'r cynulliad yn arweinwyr llwythau eu hynafiaid ac yn benaethiaid ar dylwythau Israel.
16These [are] those called of the company, princes of the tribes of their fathers; they [are] heads of the thousands of Israel.
17 Cymerodd Moses ac Aaron y dynion hyn y rhoddwyd eu henwau,
17And Moses taketh — Aaron also — these men, who were defined by name,
18 ac ar y dydd cyntaf o'r ail fis casglwyd ynghyd yr holl gynulliad. Rhestrwyd y bobl yn �l eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, a rhifwyd fesul un bawb oedd yn ugain oed a throsodd.
18and all the company they assembled on the first of the second month, and they declare their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names from a son of twenty years and upward, by their polls,
19 Felly, cyfrifodd Moses hwy yn anialwch Sinai, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn iddo.
19as Jehovah hath commanded Moses; and he numbereth them in the wilderness of Sinai.
20 O dylwyth Reuben, cyntafanedig Israel, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
20And the sons of Reuben, Israel`s first-born — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, by their polls, every male from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
21 Nifer llwyth Reuben oedd pedwar deg chwech o filoedd a phum cant.
21their numbered ones, for the tribe of Reuben, are six and forty thousand and five hundred.
22 O dylwyth Simeon, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
22Of the sons of Simeon — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, its numbered ones in the number of names, by their polls, every male from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
23 Nifer llwyth Simeon oedd pum deg naw o filoedd a thri chant.
23their numbered ones, for the tribe of Simeon, [are] nine and fifty thousand and three hundred.
24 O dylwyth Gad, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
24Of the sons of Gad — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
25 Nifer llwyth Gad oedd pedwar deg pump o filoedd chwe chant a phum deg.
25their numbered ones, for the tribe of Gad, [are] five and forty thousand and six hundred and fifty.
26 O dylwyth Jwda, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
26Of the sons of Judah — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
27 Nifer llwyth Jwda oedd saith deg pedair o filoedd a chwe chant.
27their numbered ones, for the tribe of Judah, [are] four and seventy thousand and six hundred.
28 O dylwyth Issachar, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
28Of the sons of Issachar — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
29 Nifer llwyth Issachar oedd pum deg pedair o filoedd a phedwar cant.
29their numbered ones, for the tribe of Issachar, [are] four and fifty thousand and four hundred.
30 O dylwyth Sabulon, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
30Of the sons of Zebulun — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
31 Nifer llwyth Sabulon oedd pum deg saith o filoedd a phedwar cant.
31their numbered ones, for the tribe of Zebulun, [are] seven and fifty thousand and four hundred.
32 O dylwyth Joseff, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
32Of the sons of Joseph — of the sons of Ephraim — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
33 Nifer llwyth Effraim oedd pedwar deg o filoedd a phum cant.
33their numbered ones, for the tribe of Ephraim, [are] forty thousand and five hundred.
34 O dylwyth Manasse, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
34Of the sons of Manasseh — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
35 Nifer llwyth Manasse oedd tri deg dwy o filoedd a dau gant.
35their numbered ones, for the tribe of Manasseh, [are] two and thirty thousand and two hundred.
36 O dylwyth Benjamin, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
36Of the sons of Benjamin — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
37 Nifer llwyth Benjamin oedd tri deg pump o filoedd a phedwar cant.
37their numbered ones, for the tribe of Benjamin, [are] five and thirty thousand and four hundred.
38 O dylwyth Dan, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
38Of the sons of Dan — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
39 Nifer llwyth Dan oedd chwe deg dwy o filoedd a saith gant.
39their numbered ones, for the tribe of Dan, [are] two and sixty thousand and seven hundred.
40 O dylwyth Aser, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
40Of the sons of Asher — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
41 Nifer llwyth Aser oedd pedwar deg un o filoedd a phum cant.
41their numbered ones, for the tribe of Asher, [are] one and forty thousand and five hundred.
42 O dylwyth Nafftali, rhestrwyd fesul un, yn �l cenedlaethau eu tylwythau a'u teuluoedd, enw pob gwryw ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel.
42[Of] the sons of Naphtali — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —
43 Nifer llwyth Nafftali oedd pum deg tair o filoedd a phedwar cant.
43their numbered ones, for the tribe of Naphtali, [are] three and fifty thousand and four hundred.
44 Dyma'r rhai a gyfrifwyd gan Moses ac Aaron gyda chymorth arweinwyr Israel, deuddeg ohonynt, pob un yn cynrychioli tu375? ei hynafiaid.
44These [are] those numbered, whom Moses numbered — Aaron also, and the princes of Israel, twelve men — each for the house of his fathers, they have been.
45 Gwnaed cyfrif o bobl Israel, yn �l eu teuluoedd, gan gynnwys pawb oedd yn ugain oed a throsodd ac yn abl i fynd i ryfel;
45And they are, all those numbered of the sons of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host in Israel,
46 y cyfanswm oedd chwe chant a thair o filoedd pum cant a phum deg.
46yea, all those numbered are six hundred thousand, and three thousand, and five hundred and fifty.
47 Ond ni rifwyd y Lefiaid yn �l llwythau eu hynafiaid ymysg pobl Israel,
47And the Levites, for the tribe of their fathers, have not numbered themselves in their midst,
48 oherwydd yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi dweud wrth Moses,
48seeing Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
49 "Paid � chyfrif llwyth Lefi, na'u cynnwys mewn cyfrifiad o bobl Israel;
49`Only, the tribe of Levi thou dost not number, and their sum thou dost not take up in the midst of the sons of Israel;
50 ond penoda'r Lefiaid i ofalu am babell y dystiolaeth, ei holl ddodrefn, a phopeth a berthyn iddi. Hwy sydd i gludo'r babell a'i holl ddodrefn, a hwy sydd i ofalu amdani a gwersyllu o'i hamgylch.
50and thou, appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all that it hath; they bear the tabernacle, and all its vessels, and they serve it; and round about the tabernacle they encamp.
51 Pan fydd yn amser symud y babell, y Lefiaid fydd yn ei thynnu i lawr; a phan fydd yn amser i aros, y Lefiaid fydd yn ei chodi. Rhodder i farwolaeth unrhyw un arall a ddaw ar ei chyfyl.
51`And in the journeying of the tabernacle, the Levites take it down, and in the encamping of the tabernacle, the Levites raise it up; and the stranger who is coming near is put to death.`
52 Bydd pobl Israel yn gwersyllu yn �l eu minteioedd, pob un yn ei wersyll ei hun a than ei faner ei hun.
52And the sons of Israel have encamped, each by his camp, and each by his standard, by their hosts;
53 Ond bydd y Lefiaid yn gwersyllu o amgylch pabell y dystiolaeth, rhag i ddigofaint ddod yn erbyn cynulliad pobl Israel; bydd pabell y dystiolaeth dan ofal y Lefiaid."
53and the Levites encamp round about the tabernacle of the testimony; and there is no wrath on the company of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have kept the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.
54 Gwnaeth pobl Israel y cyfan a orchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD i Moses.
54And the sons of Israel do according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses; so they have done.
