Revelation

5

1 A gwelais yn llaw dde yr hwn oedd yn eistedd ar yr orsedd sgrl a'i hysgrifen ar yr wyneb ac ar y cefn, wedi ei selio saith sl.
1And I saw upon the right hand of Him who is sitting upon the throne a scroll, written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals;
2 A gwelais angel nerthol yn cyhoeddi llef uchel, "Pwy sydd deilwng i agor y sgrl ac i ddatod ei seliau?"
2and I saw a strong messenger crying with a great voice, `Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose the seals of it?`
3 Nid oedd neb yn y nef nac ar y ddaear na than y ddaear a allai agor y sgrl nac edrych arni.
3and no one was able in the heaven, nor upon the earth, nor under the earth, to open the scroll, nor to behold it.
4 Yr oeddwn i'n wylo'n hidl am na chafwyd neb yn deilwng i agor y sgrl nac i edrych arni.
4And I was weeping much, because no one was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, nor to behold it,
5 A dywedodd un o'r henuriaid wrthyf, "Paid ag wylo; wele, y mae'r Llew o lwyth Jwda, Gwreiddyn Dafydd, wedi gorchfygu ac ennill yr hawl i agor y sgrl a'i saith sl."
5and one of the elders saith to me, `Weep not; lo, overcome did the Lion, who is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, to open the scroll, and to loose the seven seals of it;
6 Gwelais Oen yn sefyll yn y canol, gyda'r pedwar creadur byw, rhwng yr orsedd a'r henuriaid. Yr oedd yr Oen fel un wedi ei ladd, ac yr oedd ganddo saith o gyrn a saith o lygaid; y rhain yw saith ysbryd Duw, sydd wedi eu hanfon i'r holl ddaear.
6and I saw, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb hath stood as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the Seven Spirits of God, which are sent to all the earth,
7 Daeth yr Oen a chymryd y sgrl o law dde yr hwn oedd yn eistedd ar yr orsedd.
7and he came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who is sitting upon the throne.
8 Ac wedi iddo gymryd y sgrl, syrthiodd y pedwar creadur byw a'r pedwar henuriad ar hugain o flaen yr Oen, ac yr oedd gan bob un ohonynt delyn, a ffiolau aur yn llawn o arogldarth; y rhain yw gweddau'r saint.
8And when he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having each one harps and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints,
9 Ac yr oeddent yn canu cn newydd fel hyn: "Teilwng wyt ti i gymryd y sgrl ac i agor ei seliau, oherwydd ti a laddwyd ac a brynaist i Dduw 'th waed rai o bob llwyth ac iaith a phobl a chenedl,
9and they sing a new song, saying, `Worthy art thou to take the scroll, and to open the seals of it, because thou wast slain, and didst redeem us to God in thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
10 a gwnaethost hwy yn urdd frenhinol ac yn offeiriaid i'n Duw ni; ac fe deyrnasant hwy ar y ddaear."
10and didst make us to our God kings and priests, and we shall reign upon the earth.`
11 Yna edrychais a chlywais lais angylion lawer; yr oeddent o amgylch yr orsedd a'r creaduriaid byw a'r henuriaid. A'u rhif oedd myrdd myrddiynau a miloedd ar filoedd.
11And I saw, and I heard the voice of many messengers round the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders — and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands —
12 Meddent llef uchel: "Teilwng yw'r Oen a laddwyd i dderbyn gallu, cyfoeth, doethineb a nerth, anrhydedd, gogoniant a mawl."
12saying with a great voice, `Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing!`
13 A chlywais bob peth a grewyd, yn y nef ac ar y ddaear a than y ddaear ac ar y mr, a'r cwbl sydd ynddynt, yn dweud: "I'r hwn sy'n eistedd ar yr orsedd ac i'r Oen y bo'r mawl a'r anrhydedd a'r gogoniant a'r nerth byth bythoedd!"
13and every creature that is in the heaven, and in the earth, and under the earth, and the things that are upon the sea, and the all things in them, heard I saying, `To Him who is sitting upon the throne, and to the Lamb, [is] the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the might — to the ages of the ages!`
14 A dywedodd y pedwar creadur byw, "Amen"; a syrthiodd yr henuriaid i lawr ac addoli.
14and the four living creatures said, `Amen!` and the twenty-four elders fell down and they bow before Him who is living to the ages of the ages.
