Revelation

6

1 Edrychais pan agorodd yr Oen y gyntaf o'r saith sl, a chlywais y cyntaf o'r pedwar creadur byw yn dweud llais fel taran, "Tyrd."
1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as it were a voice of thunder, `Come and behold!`
2 Edrychais, ac wele geffyl gwyn; yr oedd gan ei farchog fwa; rhoddwyd iddo goron, ac fe aeth allan fel concwerwr i ennill concwest.
2and I saw, and lo, a white horse, and he who is sitting upon it is having a bow, and there was given to him a crown, and he went forth overcoming, and that he may overcome.
3 Pan agorodd yr Oen yr ail sl, clywais yr ail greadur byw yn dweud, "Tyrd."
3And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, `Come and behold!`
4 A daeth allan geffyl arall, fflamgoch; ac i farchog hwn rhoddwyd awdurdod i ddwyn heddwch oddi ar y ddaear a pheri i bobl ladd ei gilydd, a rhoddwyd iddo gleddyf mawr.
4and there went forth another horse — red, and to him who is sitting upon it, there was given to him to take the peace from the land, and that one another they may slay, and there was given to him a great sword.
5 Pan agorodd y drydedd sl, clywais y trydydd creadur byw yn dweud, "Tyrd." Edrychais, ac wele geffyl du; ac yr oedd gan ei farchog glorian yn ei law.
5And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, `Come and behold!` and I saw, and lo, a black horse, and he who is sitting upon it is having a balance in his hand,
6 Clywais su373?n fel llais o ganol y pedwar creadur byw yn dweud: "Darn arian am litr o wenith, darn arian am dri litr o haidd; ond paid difetha'r olew na'r gwin."
6and I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, `A measure of wheat for a denary, and three measures of barley for a denary,` and `The oil and the wine thou mayest not injure.`
7 Pan agorodd y bedwaredd sl, clywais lais y pedwerydd creadur byw yn dweud, "Tyrd."
7And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, `Come and behold!`
8 Edrychais, ac wele geffyl gwelwlwyd; ac enw ei farchog ef oedd Marwolaeth, ac yn ei ganlyn yn dynn yr oedd Hades. Rhoddwyd iddynt awdurdod ar y bedwaredd ran o'r ddaear, hawl i ladd 'r cleddyf ac newyn ac phla, a thrwy fwystfilod y ddaear.
8and I saw, and lo, a pale horse, and he who is sitting upon him — his name is Death, and Hades doth follow with him, and there was given to them authority to kill, (over the fourth part of the land,) with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and by the beasts of the land.
9 Pan agorodd y bumed sl, gwelais dan yr allor eneidiau'r rhai a laddwyd ar gyfrif gair Duw ac am y dystiolaeth yr oeddent wedi ei dwyn.
9And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony that they held,
10 Gwaeddasant llais uchel: "Pa hyd, Benllywydd sanctaidd a gwir, cyn i ti farnu, a dial ein gwaed ar drigolion y ddaear?"
10and they were crying with a great voice, saying, `Till when, O Master, the Holy and the True, dost Thou not judge and take vengeance of our blood from those dwelling upon the land?`
11 Yna rhoddwyd i bob un ohonynt fantell wen, a dywedwyd wrthynt am orffwys eto am ychydig amser hyd nes bod nifer eu cydweision a'u cymrodyr, a oedd i'w lladd fel hwythau, yn gyflawn.
11and there was given to each one white robes, and it was said to them that they may rest themselves yet a little time, till may be fulfilled also their fellow-servants and their brethren, who are about to be killed — even as they.
12 Edrychais pan agorodd y chweched sl. Bu daeargryn mawr, aeth yr haul yn ddu fel sachliain galar, a'r lleuad lawn yn goch fel gwaed.
12And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and lo, a great earthquake came, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood,
13 Syrthiodd sr y nef i'r ddaear fel cawod o ffigys gleision oddi ar ffigysbren pan siglir ef gan wynt mawr.
13and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth — as a fig-tree doth cast her winter figs, by a great wind being shaken —
14 Rhwygwyd y ffurfafen fel sgrl yn cael ei dirwyn, a symudwyd pob mynydd ac ynys o'u lle.
14and heaven departed as a scroll rolled up, and every mountain and island — out of their places they were moved;
15 A brenhinoedd y ddaear, y mawrion a'r cadfridogion, y cyfoethogion a'r cryfion, a phawb, yn gaethion ac yn rhyddion, cuddiasant eu hunain mewn ogofeydd ac yng nghreigiau'r mynyddoedd;
15and the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich, and the chiefs of thousands, and the mighty, and every servant, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens, and in the rocks of the mountains,
16 a dywedasant wrth y mynyddoedd a'r creigiau, "Syrthiwch arnom, a chuddiwch ni rhag wyneb yr hwn sy'n eistedd ar yr orsedd a rhag digofaint yr Oen,
16and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, `Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of Him who is sitting upon the throne, and from the anger of the Lamb,`
17 oherwydd daeth dydd mawr eu digofaint hwy, a phwy all sefyll?"
17because come did the great day of His anger, and who is able to stand?
