¹ Y mae'n ddyletswydd arnom ni, y rhai cryf, oddef gwendidau'r rhai sy'n eiddil eu cydwybod, a pheidio �'n plesio ein hunain.

¹And we ought — we who are strong — to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves;

² Y mae pob un ohonom i blesio ein cymydog, gan anelu at yr hyn sydd dda er adeiladu ein gilydd.

²for let each one of us please the neighbor for good, unto edification,

³ Oherwydd nid ei blesio ei hun a wnaeth Crist. I'r gwrthwyneb, fel y mae'n ysgrifenedig: "Y mae gwaradwydd y rhai oedd yn dy waradwyddo di wedi syrthio arnaf fi."

³for even the Christ did not please himself, but, according as it hath been written, `The reproaches of those reproaching Thee fell upon me;`

⁴ Ac fe ysgrifennwyd yr Ysgrythurau gynt er mwyn ein dysgu ni, er mwyn i ni, trwy ddyfalbarhad a thrwy eu hanogaeth hwy, ddal ein gafael yn ein gobaith.

⁴for, as many things as were written before, for our instruction were written before, that through the endurance, and the exhortation of the Writings, we might have the hope.

⁵ A rhodded Duw, ffynhonnell pob dyfalbarhad ac anogaeth, i chwi fod yn gyt�n eich meddwl ymhlith eich gilydd, yn �l ewyllys Crist Iesu,

⁵And may the God of the endurance, and of the exhortation, give to you to have the same mind toward one another, according to Christ Jesus;

⁶ er mwyn ichwi, yn unfryd ac yn unllais, ogoneddu Duw a Thad ein Harglwydd Iesu Grist.

⁶that with one accord — with one mouth — ye may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ;

⁷ Am hynny, derbyniwch eich gilydd, fel y derbyniodd Crist chwi, er gogoniant Duw.

⁷wherefore receive ye one another, according as also the Christ did receive us, to the glory of God.

⁸ Oherwydd yr wyf yn dweud bod Crist wedi dod yn was i'r Iddewon er mwyn dangos geirwiredd Duw, sef ei fod yn cadarnhau'r addewidion i'r hynafiaid,

⁸And I say Jesus Christ to have become a ministrant of circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises to the fathers,

⁹ a hefyd er mwyn i'r Cenhedloedd ogoneddu Duw am ei drugaredd. Fel y mae'n ysgrifenedig: "Oherwydd hyn, clodforaf di ymysg y Cenhedloedd, a chanaf i'th enw."

⁹and the nations for kindness to glorify God, according as it hath been written, `Because of this I will confess to Thee among nations, and to Thy name I will sing praise,`

¹⁰ Ac y mae'n dweud eilwaith: "Llawenhewch, Genhedloedd, ynghyd �'i bobl ef."

¹⁰and again it saith, `Rejoice ye nations, with His people;`

¹¹ Ac eto: "Molwch yr Arglwydd, yr holl Genhedloedd, a'r holl bobloedd yn dyblu'r mawl."

¹¹and again, `Praise the Lord, all ye nations; and laud Him, all ye peoples;`

¹² Y mae Eseia hefyd yn dweud: "Fe ddaw gwreiddyn Jesse, y gu373?r sy'n codi i lywodraethu'r Cenhedloedd; arno ef y bydd y Cenhedloedd yn seilio'u gobaith."

¹²and again, Isaiah saith, `There shall be the root of Jesse, and he who is rising to rule nations — upon him shall nations hope;`

¹³ A bydded i Dduw, ffynhonnell gobaith, eich llenwi � phob llawenydd a thangnefedd wrth ichwi arfer eich ffydd, nes eich bod, trwy nerth yr Ysbryd Gl�n, yn gorlifo � gobaith.

¹³and the God of the hope shall fill you with all joy and peace in the believing, for your abounding in the hope in power of the Holy Spirit.

¹⁴ Yr wyf fi, o'm rhan fy hun, yn gwbl sicr, fy nghyfeillion, eich bod chwithau yn llawn daioni, yn gyforiog o bob gwybodaeth, ac yn alluog i hyfforddi eich gilydd.

¹⁴And I am persuaded, my brethren — I myself also — concerning you, that ye yourselves also are full of goodness, having been filled with all knowledge, able also one another to admonish;

¹⁵ B�m braidd yn hy arnoch mewn mannau yn fy llythyr, wrth geisio deffro eich cof. Ond gwneuthum hyn ar bwys y gorchwyl a roddodd Duw i mi o'i ras,

¹⁵and the more boldly I did write to you, brethren, in part, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me by God,

¹⁶ i fod yn weinidog Crist Iesu i'r Cenhedloedd, yn gweini fel offeiriad ar Efengyl Duw, er mwyn cyflwyno'r Cenhedloedd iddo yn offrwm cymeradwy, offrwm wedi ei gysegru gan yr Ysbryd Gl�n.

¹⁶for my being a servant of Jesus Christ to the nations, acting as priest in the good news of God, that the offering up of the nations may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

¹⁷ Yng Nghrist Iesu, felly, y mae gennyf le i ymffrostio yn fy ngwasanaeth i Dduw,

¹⁷I have, then, a boasting in Christ Jesus, in the things pertaining to God,

¹⁸ oherwydd nid wyf am feiddio s�n am ddim ond yr hyn a gyflawnodd Crist trwof fi, yn y dasg o ennill y Cenhedloedd i ufuddhau iddo, mewn gair a gweithred,

¹⁸for I will not dare to speak anything of the things that Christ did not work through me, to obedience of nations, by word and deed,

¹⁹ trwy rym arwyddion a rhyfeddodau, trwy nerth Ysbryd Duw. Ac felly, yr wyf fi wedi cwblhau cyhoeddi Efengyl Crist mewn cylch eang, o Jerwsalem cyn belled ag Ilyricum.

¹⁹in power of signs and wonders, in power of the Spirit of God; so that I, from Jerusalem, and in a circle as far as Illyricum, have fully preached the good news of the Christ;

²⁰ Yn hyn oll fe'i cedwais yn nod i bregethu'r Efengyl yn y mannau hynny yn unig oedd heb glywed s�n am enw Crist, rhag i mi fod yn adeiladu ar sylfaen rhywun arall;

²⁰and so counting it honour to proclaim good news, not where Christ was named — that upon another`s foundation I might not build —

²¹ fel y mae'n ysgrifenedig: "Bydd y rheini na chyhoeddwyd dim wrthynt amdano yn gweld, a'r rheini na chlywsant ddim amdano yn deall."

²¹but according as it hath been written, `To whom it was not told concerning him, they shall see; and they who have not heard, shall understand.`

²² Hwn oedd y rhwystr a'm cadwodd cyhyd o amser rhag dod atoch chwi.

²²Wherefore, also, I was hindered many times from coming unto you,

²³ Ond yn awr, a minnau heb faes cenhadol mwyach yn yr ardaloedd hyn, a'r awydd arnaf ers blynyddoedd lawer i ddod atoch chwi

²³and now, no longer having place in these parts, and having a longing to come unto you for many years,

²⁴ pryd bynnag y byddaf ar fy ffordd i Sbaen, yr wyf yn gobeithio ymweld � chwi wrth fynd trwodd, a chael fy hebrwng gennych ar fy nhaith yno, ar �l mwynhau eich cwmni am ychydig.

²⁴when I may go on to Spain I will come unto you, for I hope in going through, to see you, and by you to be set forward thither, if of you first, in part, I shall be filled.

²⁵ Ond ar hyn o bryd yr wyf ar fy ffordd i Jerwsalem, i fynd � chymorth i'r saint yno.

²⁵And, now, I go on to Jerusalem, ministering to the saints;

²⁶ Oherwydd y mae Macedonia ac Achaia wedi gweld yn dda gyfrannu i gronfa ar ran y tlodion ymhlith y saint yn Jerwsalem.

²⁶for it pleased Macedonia and Achaia well to make a certain contribution for the poor of the saints who [are] in Jerusalem;

²⁷ Gwelsant yn dda, do, ond yr oeddent hefyd dan ddyled iddynt. Oherwydd os cafodd y Cenhedloedd gyfran o'u trysor ysbrydol hwy, y mae'n ddyled ar y Cenhedloedd weini arnynt mewn pethau tymhorol.

²⁷for it pleased well, and their debtors they are, for if in their spiritual things the nations did participate, they ought also, in the fleshly things, to minister to them.

²⁸ Felly, pan fyddaf wedi cyflawni'r gorchwyl hwn, a gosod y casgliad yn ddiogel yn eu dwylo, caf gychwyn ar y daith i Sbaen a galw heibio i chwi.

²⁸This, then, having finished, and having sealed to them this fruit, I will return through you, to Spain;

²⁹ Gwn y bydd fy ymweliad � chwi dan fendith gyflawn Crist.

²⁹and I have known that coming unto you — in the fulness of the blessing of the good news of Christ I shall come.

³⁰ Yr wyf yn ymbil arnoch, gyfeillion, trwy ein Harglwydd Iesu Grist, a thrwy'r cariad sy'n ffrwyth yr Ysbryd: ymunwch � mi yn fy ymdrech, a gwedd�o ar Dduw trosof,

³⁰And I call upon you, brethren, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in the prayers for me unto God,

³¹ ar i mi gael fy arbed rhag yr anghredinwyr yn Jwdea, ac i'r cymorth sydd gennyf i Jerwsalem fod yn dderbyniol gan y saint;

³¹that I may be delivered from those not believing in Judea, and that my ministration, that [is] for Jerusalem, may become acceptable to the saints;

³² ac felly i mi gael dod atoch mewn llawenydd, trwy ewyllys Duw, a'm hatgyfnerthu yn eich cwmni.

³²that in joy I may come unto you, through the will of God, and may be refreshed with you,

³³ A Duw yr heddwch fyddo gyda chwi oll! Amen.

³³and the God of the peace [be] with you all. Amen.
