¹ "Os yw rhywun yn lladrata ych neu ddafad ac yn ei ladd neu ei werthu, y mae i dalu'n �l bum ych am yr ych, a phedair dafad am y ddafad.

¹If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall pay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

² "Os bydd rhywun yn dal lleidr yn torri i mewn, ac yn ei daro a'i ladd, ni fydd yn euog o'i waed;

²If the thief be found breaking in, and be smitten so that he dieth, there shall be no bloodguiltiness for him.

³ ond os yw'n ei ddal ar �l i'r haul godi, fe fydd yn euog o'i waed. "Y mae lleidr i dalu'n �l yn llawn, ac os nad oes dim ganddo, y mae ef ei hun i'w werthu am ei ladrad.

³If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be bloodguiltiness for him; he shall make restitution: if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

⁴ "Os ceir yn fyw ym meddiant lleidr anifail wedi ei ddwyn, boed yn ych neu'n asyn neu'n ddafad, y mae'r lleidr i dalu'n �l ddwbl ei werth.

⁴If the theft be found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep, he shall pay double.

⁵ "Pan yw rhywun yn gadael ei faes neu ei winllan i'w pori, ac yna'n gyrru ei anifail i bori ym maes rhywun arall, y mae i dalu'n �l o'r pethau gorau sydd yn ei faes a'i winllan ei hun.

⁵If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall let his beast loose, and it feed in another man's field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.

⁶ "Pan yw t�n yn torri allan ac yn cydio mewn drain ac yn difa ysgubau u375?d, neu u375?d heb ei fedi, neu faes, y mae'r sawl a gyneuodd y t�n i dalu'n �l yn llawn.

⁶If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the shocks of grain, or the standing grain, or the field are consumed; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.

⁷ "Pan yw rhywun yn rhoi i'w gymydog arian neu ddodrefn i'w cadw iddo, a'r rheini'n cael eu lladrata o'i du375?, y mae'r lleidr, os delir ef, i dalu'n �l yn ddwbl.

⁷If a man shall deliver unto his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, he shall pay double.

⁸ Os na ddelir y lleidr, dyger perchennog y tu375? o flaen Duw i weld a estynnodd ei law at eiddo'i gymydog ai peidio.

⁸If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall come near unto God, [to see] whether he have not put his hand unto his neighbor's goods.

⁹ "Mewn unrhyw achos o drosedd ynglu375?n ag ych, asyn, dafad, dilledyn, neu unrhyw beth coll y mae rhywun yn dweud mai ei eiddo ef ydyw, dyger achos y ddau o flaen Duw; ac y mae'r sawl y bydd Duw yn ei gael yn euog i dalu'n �l yn ddwbl i'w gymydog.

⁹For every matter of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, [or] for any manner of lost thing, whereof one saith, This is it, the cause of both parties shall come before God; he whom God shall condemn shall pay double unto his neighbor.

¹⁰ "Pan yw rhywun yn rhoi asyn, ych, dafad, neu unrhyw anifail i'w gymydog i'w gadw iddo, a'r anifail yn marw, neu'n cael ei niweidio, neu ei gipio ymaith, heb i neb ei weld,

¹⁰If a man deliver unto his neighbor an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:

¹¹ y mae'r naill i dyngu i'r llall yn enw'r ARGLWYDD nad yw wedi estyn ei law at eiddo'i gymydog; y mae'r perchennog i dderbyn hyn, ac nid yw'r llall i dalu'n �l.

¹¹the oath of Jehovah shall be between them both, whether he hath not put his hand unto his neighbor's goods; and the owner thereof shall accept it, and he shall not make restitution.

¹² Ond os cafodd ei ladrata oddi arno, y mae i dalu'n �l i'r perchennog.

¹²But if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.

¹³ Os cafodd ei larpio, y mae i ddod �'r corff yn dystiolaeth, ac nid yw i dalu'n �l am yr hyn a larpiwyd.

¹³If it be torn in pieces, let him bring it for witness: he shall not make good that which was torn.

¹⁴ "Pan yw rhywun yn benthyca anifail gan ei gymydog, a hwnnw'n cael ei niweidio, neu'n marw heb i'w berchennog fod gydag ef, y mae'r sawl a'i benthyciodd i dalu'n �l yn llawn.

¹⁴And if a man borrow aught of his neighbor, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof not being with it, he shall surely make restitution.

¹⁵ Ond os oedd ei berchennog gydag ef, nid yw i dalu'n �l; os oedd ar log, yna'r llog sy'n ddyledus.

¹⁵If the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be a hired thing, it came for its hire.

¹⁶ "Pan yw rhywun yn hudo gwyryf nad yw wedi ei dywedd�o, ac yn gorwedd gyda hi, y mae i roi gwaddol amdani, a'i chymryd yn wraig.

¹⁶And if a man entice a virgin that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely pay a dowry for her to be his wife.

¹⁷ Ond os yw ei thad yn gwrthod yn llwyr ei rhoi iddo, y mae i dalu arian sy'n gyfwerth �'r gwaddol am wyryf.

¹⁷If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

¹⁸ "Paid � gadael i ddewines fyw.

¹⁸Thou shalt not suffer a sorceress to live.

¹⁹ "Pwy bynnag sy'n gorwedd gydag anifail, rhodder ef i farwolaeth.

¹⁹Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.

²⁰ "Pwy bynnag sy'n aberthu i unrhyw dduw heblaw'r ARGLWYDD yn unig, distrywier ef yn llwyr.

²⁰He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto Jehovah only, shall be utterly destroyed.

²¹ "Paid � gwneud cam �'r estron, na'i orthrymu, oherwydd estroniaid fuoch chwi yng ngwlad yr Aifft.

²¹And a sojourner shalt thou not wrong, neither shalt thou oppress him: for ye were sojourners in the land of Egypt.

²² Peidiwch � cham-drin y weddw na'r amddifad.

²²Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

²³ Os byddwch yn eu cam-drin a hwythau'n galw arnaf, byddaf yn sicr o glywed eu cri.

²³If thou afflict them at all, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;

²⁴ Bydd fy nicter yn cael ei gyffroi, ac fe'ch lladdaf �'r cleddyf; a bydd eich gwragedd yn weddwon a'ch plant yn amddifaid.

²⁴and my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

²⁵ "Pan fenthyci arian i unrhyw un o'm pobl sy'n dlawd yn eich plith, paid ag ymddwyn tuag ato fel y gwna'r echwynnwr, a phaid � mynnu llog ganddo.

²⁵If thou lend money to any of my people with thee that is poor, thou shalt not be to him as a creditor; neither shall ye lay upon him interest.

²⁶ Os cymeri fantell dy gymydog yn wystl, yr wyt i'w rhoi'n �l iddo cyn machlud haul,

²⁶If thou at all take thy neighbor's garment to pledge, thou shalt restore it unto him before the sun goeth down:

²⁷ oherwydd dyna'r unig orchudd sydd ganddo, a dyna'r wisg sydd am ei gorff; beth arall sydd ganddo i gysgu ynddo? Os bydd yn galw arnaf fi, fe wrandawaf arno am fy mod yn drugarog.

²⁷for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? And it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

²⁸ "Paid � chablu Duw, na melltithio pennaeth o blith dy bobl.

²⁸Thou shalt not revile God, nor curse a ruler of thy people.

²⁹ "Paid ag oedi offrymu o'th ffrwythau aeddfed neu o gynnyrch dy winwryf. "Yr wyt i gyflwyno i mi dy fab cyntafanedig.

²⁹Thou shalt not delay to offer of thy harvest, and of the outflow of thy presses. The first-born of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.

³⁰ Yr wyt i wneud yr un modd gyda'th ychen a'th ddefaid; bydded pob un gyda'i fam am saith diwrnod, ac ar yr wythfed dydd cyflwyner ef i mi.

³⁰Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, [and] with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with its dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.

³¹ "Byddwch yn ddynion wedi eu cysegru i mi, a pheidiwch � bwyta cig dim sydd wedi ei ysglyfaethu yn y maes; yn hytrach, taflwch ef i'r cu373?n.

³¹And ye shall be holy men unto me: therefore ye shall not eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
