¹ Wedi i Josua heneiddio a mynd i oed, dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrtho, "Yr wyt yn hen ac wedi mynd i oed, ac y mae llawer iawn o dir yn aros i'w feddiannu.

¹Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years; and Jehovah said unto him, Thou art old and well stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.

² Dyma'r tir sydd ar �l: holl ardaloedd y Philistiaid ac eiddo'r Gesuriaid i gyd

²This is the land that yet remaineth: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;

³ (i'r Canaaneaid y cyfrifir y tir o'r afon Sihor sydd ar drothwy'r Aifft hyd derfyn Ecron i'r gogledd, sef cylchoedd pum teyrn y Philistiaid: Gasa, Asdod, Ascalon, Gath ac Ecron), a thir yr Afiaid

³from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the border of Ekron northward, [which] is reckoned to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim,

⁴ yn y de; holl wlad y Canaaneaid, yn cynnwys Meara sy'n perthyn i'r Sidoniaid, hyd at Affec a therfyn yr Amoriaid;

⁴on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongeth to the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;

⁵ hefyd tir y Gebaliaid a Lebanon i gyd i'r dwyrain o Baal-gad islaw Mynydd Hermon, hyd at Lebo-hamath.

⁵and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon unto the entrance of Hamath;

⁶ Byddaf yn gyrru ymaith y Sidoniaid i gyd, holl drigolion y mynydd-dir, o Lebanon hyd Misreffoth-maim, o flaen yr Israeliaid; rhanna di'r etifeddiaeth i Israel fel y gorchmynnais iti.

⁶all the inhabitants of the hill-country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, even all the Sidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only allot thou it unto Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

⁷ Rhanna'n awr y wlad hon yn etifeddiaeth i'r naw llwyth ac i hanner llwyth Manasse."

⁷Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

⁸ Y mae hanner arall y llwyth, a hefyd Reuben a Gad, wedi cymryd yr etifeddiaeth a roddodd Moses iddynt i'r dwyrain o'r Iorddonen, fel yr oedd ef, gwas yr ARGLWYDD, wedi ei nodi ar eu cyfer:

⁸With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them:

⁹ o Aroer sydd ar ymyl nant Arnon, ac o'r ddinas sydd yng nghanol y dyffryn, gyda'r holl wastadedd o Medeba hyd Dibon;

⁹from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;

¹⁰ a holl ddinasoedd Sihon brenin yr Amoriaid, a oedd yn teyrnasu yn Hesbon, hyd at derfyn yr Ammoniaid,

¹⁰and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;

¹¹ a Gilead hefyd a thiriogaeth y Gesuriaid a'r Maachathiaid, sef holl fynydd-dir Hermon, a Basan i gyd hyd at Salcha,

¹¹and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salecah;

¹² sef y cwbl yn Basan o deyrnas Og a lywodraethai o Astaroth ac Edrei. Yr oedd ef yn un o weddill y Reffaim a drawyd gan Moses a'u gyrru allan.

¹²all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for these did Moses smite, and drove them out.

¹³ Ni yrrodd yr Israeliaid y Gesuriaid a'r Maachathiaid allan, ond y maent yn byw ymysg yr Israeliaid hyd heddiw.

¹³Nevertheless the children of Israel drove not out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel unto this day.

¹⁴ Ni roddwyd etifeddiaeth i lwyth Lefi; oherwydd offrymau trwy d�n yr ARGLWYDD, Duw Israel, yw eu hetifeddiaeth hwy, fel y dywedodd ef wrthynt.

¹⁴Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the offerings of Jehovah, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spake unto him.

¹⁵ Yr oedd Moses wedi rhoi etifeddiaeth i lwyth Reuben yn �l eu teuluoedd.

¹⁵And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.

¹⁶ Yr oedd eu tiriogaeth yn ymestyn o Aroer sydd ar ymyl nant Arnon, ac o'r ddinas sydd yng nghanol y dyffryn, gyda'r holl wastadedd hyd at Medeba;

¹⁶And their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;

¹⁷ yr oedd yn cynnwys Hesbon a'i holl drefi ar y gwastadedd, Dibon, Bamoth-baal, Beth-baal-meon,

¹⁷Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon,

¹⁸ Jahas, Cedemoth, Meffaath,

¹⁸and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

¹⁹ Ciriathaim, Sibma, Sereth-sahar ar fynydd y glyn,

¹⁹and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar in the mount of the valley,

²⁰ Beth-peor, llethrau Pisga a Beth-jesimoth,

²⁰and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth,

²¹ sef holl drefi'r gwastadedd a holl deyrnas Sihon brenin yr Amoriaid, a oedd yn teyrnasu yn Hesbon ond a laddwyd gan Moses ynghyd � thywysogion Midian, Efi, Recem, Sur, Hur a Reba, pendefigion Sihon oedd yn byw yn y wlad.

²¹and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, that dwelt in the land.

²² Yr oedd Balaam fab Beor, y dewin, yn un o'r rhai a laddwyd gan yr Israeliaid �'r cleddyf.

²²Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among the rest of their slain.

²³ Yr Iorddonen a'i goror oedd terfyn llwyth Reuben; a dyna'u hetifeddiaeth yn �l eu teuluoedd, gyda'u trefi a'u pentrefi.

²³And the border of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and the border [thereof]. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

²⁴ Rhoddodd Moses etifeddiaeth i lwyth Gad yn �l eu teuluoedd.

²⁴And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad, according to their families.

²⁵ Eu tiriogaeth hwy oedd Jaser a holl drefi Gilead a hanner tir yr Ammoniaid hyd at Aroer sydd o flaen Rabba;

²⁵And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;

²⁶ yna o Hesbon at Ramath-mispa a Betonim, ac o Mahanaim at derfyn Lo-debar;

²⁶and from Heshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;

²⁷ yna, yn y dyffryn, Beth-haram, Beth-nimra, Succoth a Saffon, gweddill teyrnas Sihon brenin Hesbon; yr Iorddonen oedd y terfyn at gwr isaf M�r Cinnereth i'r dwyrain o'r Iorddonen.

²⁷and in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and the border [thereof], unto the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.

²⁸ Dyma etifeddiaeth Gad yn �l eu teuluoedd, gyda'u trefi a'u pentrefi.

²⁸This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

²⁹ Rhoddodd Moses etifeddiaeth i hanner llwyth Manasse yn �l eu teuluoeoedd.

²⁹And Moses gave [inheritance] unto the half-tribe of Manasseh: and it was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.

³⁰ Yr oedd eu tiriogaeth yn ymestyn o Mahanaim ac yn cynnwys Basan i gyd, holl deyrnas Og brenin Basan, a'r cwbl o Hafoth-jair yn Basan, sef trigain tref.

³⁰And their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:

³¹ Aeth hanner Gilead ynghyd ag Astaroth ac Edrei, dinasoedd brenhinol Og yn Basan, i feibion Machir fab Manasse, sef hanner llwyth Machir, yn �l eu teuluoedd.

³¹and half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.

³² Dyma'r tiroedd a rannodd Moses yng ngwastadeddau Moab y tu hwnt i'r Iorddonen, i'r dwyrain o Jericho.

³²These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.

³³ Ond ni roddodd Moses etifeddiaeth i lwyth Lefi. Yr ARGLWYDD, Duw Israel, oedd eu hetifeddiaeth hwy, fel y dywedodd ef wrthynt.

³³But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance: Jehovah, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spake unto them.
