¹ Daeth pennau-teuluoedd y Lefiaid at yr offeiriad Eleasar, at Josua fab Nun, ac at bennau�teuluoedd llwythau'r Israeliaid,

¹Then came near the heads of fathers' [houses] of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of fathers' [houses] of the tribes of the children of Israel;

² a dweud wrthynt yn Seilo yng ngwlad Canaan, "Gorchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD drwy Moses roi dinasoedd i ni i fyw ynddynt, a hefyd eu porfeydd ar gyfer ein hanifeiliaid."

²and they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, Jehovah commanded Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.

³ Yna, yn �l gorchymyn yr ARGLWYDD, rhoddodd yr Israeliaid o'u hetifeddiaeth hwy y dinasoedd a nodir isod a'u porfeydd i'r Lefiaid.

³And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of Jehovah, these cities with their suburbs.

⁴ Pan ddisgynnodd y coelbren ar deuluoedd y Cohathiaid, cafodd y Lefiaid a hanoedd o Aaron yr offeiriad dair dinas ar ddeg trwy'r coelbren gan lwythau Jwda, Simeon a Benjamin.

⁴And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

⁵ Cafodd gweddill y Cohathiaid ddeg dinas trwy'r coelbren gan deuluoedd llwyth Effraim, llwyth Dan, a hanner llwyth Manasse.

⁵And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.

⁶ Cafodd y Gersoniaid dair dinas ar ddeg yn Basan trwy'r coelbren gan deuluoedd llwyth Issachar, llwyth Aser, llwyth Nafftali a hanner llwyth Manasse.

⁶And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

⁷ Cafodd y Merariaid ddeuddeg dinas, yn �l eu teuluoedd, gan lwythau Reuben, Gad a Sabulon.

⁷The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

⁸ Rhoddodd yr Israeliaid y dinasoedd hyn a'u porfeydd i'r Lefiaid trwy'r coelbren, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn i Moses.

⁸And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as Jehovah commanded by Moses.

⁹ Rhoesant y dinasoedd a enwir yma gan lwythau Jwda a Simeon

⁹And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are [here] mentioned by name:

¹⁰ i'r Lefiaid o deuluoedd y Cohathiaid a hanoedd o Aaron, gan mai arnynt hwy y disgynnodd y coelbren cyntaf.

¹⁰and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.

¹¹ Rhoesant iddynt Ciriath-arba (Arba oedd tad Anac), sef Hebron ym mynydd�dir Jwda, a'r porfeydd o'i hamgylch.

¹¹And they gave them Kiriath-arba, [which Arba was] the father of Anak (the same is Hebron), in the hill-country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.

¹² Ond rhoesant dir y ddinas a'i phentrefi yn etifeddiaeth i Caleb fab Jeffunne.

¹²But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.

¹³ I ddisgynyddion Aaron yr offeiriad rhoesant Hebron, dinas noddfa i leiddiaid, hefyd Libna,

¹³And unto the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Libnah with its suburbs,

¹⁴ Jattir, Estemoa,

¹⁴and Jattir with its suburbs, and Eshtemoa with its suburbs,

¹⁵ Holon, Debir,

¹⁵and Holon with its suburbs, and Debir with its suburbs,

¹⁶ Ain, Jutta a Beth-semes, bob un �'i phorfeydd: naw dinas gan y ddau lwyth hynny.

¹⁶and Ain with its suburbs, and Juttah with its suburbs, [and] Beth-shemesh with its suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.

¹⁷ Ac o lwyth Benjamin rhoesant Gibeon, Geba,

¹⁷And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs,

¹⁸ Anathoth, ac Almon, bob un �'i phorfeydd: pedair dinas.

¹⁸Anathoth with its suburbs, and Almon with its suburbs; four cities.

¹⁹ Cafodd yr offeiriaid, disgynyddion Aaron, dair dinas ar ddeg a'u porfeydd.

¹⁹All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.

²⁰ Gan lwyth Effraim y cafodd gweddill y Lefiaid o linach Cohath eu dinasoedd trwy goelbren, yn �l teuluoedd y Cohathiaid.

²⁰And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

²¹ Rhoesant Sichem, dinas noddfa i leiddiaid ym mynydd�dir Effraim, hefyd Geser,

²¹And they gave them Shechem with its suburbs in the hill-country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Gezer with its suburbs,

²² Cibsaim a Beth-horon, bob un �'i phorfeydd: pedair dinas.

²²and Kibzaim with its suburbs, and Beth-horon with its suburbs; four cities.

²³ O lwyth Dan yr oedd Eltece, Gibbethon,

²³And out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its suburbs, Gibbethon with its suburbs,

²⁴ Ajalon a Gath�rimmon, bob un �'i phorfeydd: pedair dinas.

²⁴Aijalon with its suburbs, Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; four cities.

²⁵ O hanner llwyth Manasse yr oedd Taanach a Gath-rimmon a'u porfeydd: dwy ddinas.

²⁵And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; two cities.

²⁶ Cafodd gweddill teuluoedd y Cohathiaid ddeg dinas i gyd, a'u porfeydd.

²⁶All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbs.

²⁷ Gan hanner llwyth Manasse cafodd y Gersoniaid o blith teuluoedd y Lefiaid Golan, dinas noddfa i leiddiaid yn Basan, a hefyd Beestera, bob un �'i phorfeydd: dwy ddinas.

²⁷And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh [they gave] Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Be-eshterah with its suburbs; two cities.

²⁸ O lwyth Issachar cafwyd Cison, Daberath,

²⁸And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with its suburbs, Daberath with its suburbs,

²⁹ Jarmuth ac En�gannim, bob un �'i phorfeydd: pedair dinas.

²⁹Jarmuth with its suburbs, En-gannim with its suburbs; four cities.

³⁰ O lwyth Aser cafwyd Misal, Abdon,

³⁰And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its suburbs, Abdon with its suburbs,

³¹ Helcath a Rehob, bob un �'i phorfeydd: pedair dinas.

³¹Helkath with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs; four cities.

³² O lwyth Nafftali cafwyd Cedes, dinas noddfa i leiddiaid yn Galilea, a hefyd Hammoth-dor a Cartan, bob un �'i phorfeydd: tair dinas.

³²And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Hammoth-dor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.

³³ Yr oedd gan y Gersoniaid, yn �l eu teuluoedd, dair dinas ar ddeg i gyd, a'u porfeydd.

³³All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.

³⁴ Gan lwyth Sabulon cafodd gweddill y Lefiaid a hanoedd o Merari, yn �l eu teuluoedd, Jocneam, Carta,

³⁴And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its suburbs, and Kartah with its suburbs,

³⁵ Dimna a Nahalal, bob un �'i phorfeydd: pedair dinas.

³⁵Dimnah with its suburbs, Nahalal with its suburbs; four cities.

³⁶ O lwyth Reuben cafwyd Beser, Jahas,

³⁶And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with its suburbs, and Jahaz with its suburbs,

³⁷ Cedemoth a Meffaath, bob un �'i phorfeydd: pedair dinas.

³⁷Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; four cities.

³⁸ O lwyth Gad cafwyd Ramoth, dinas noddfa i leiddiaid, yn Gilead, hefyd Mahanaim,

³⁸And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Mahanaim with its suburbs,

³⁹ Hesbon a Jaser, bob un �'i phorfeydd: pedair dinas i gyd.

³⁹Heshbon with its suburbs, Jazer with its suburbs; four cities in all.

⁴⁰ Nifer y dinasoedd a gafodd y Merariaid, sef gweddill teuluoedd y Lefiaid, oedd deuddeg dinas i gyd, trwy'r coelbren yn �l eu teuluoedd.

⁴⁰All [these were] the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites; and their lot was twelve cities.

⁴¹ Yr oedd nifer dinasoedd y Lefiaid oddi mewn i diriogaeth yr Israeliaid yn wyth a deugain o ddinasoedd a'u porfeydd.

⁴¹All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.

⁴² Yr oedd gan bob un o'r dinasoedd hyn ei phorfeydd o'i hamgylch; dyna'r drefn gyda phob un o'r dinasoedd hyn.

⁴²These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus it was with all these cities.

⁴³ Rhoddodd yr ARGLWYDD i Israel yr holl wlad a addawodd i'w hynafiaid. Wedi iddynt ei meddiannu ac ymsefydlu ynddi,

⁴³So Jehovah gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

⁴⁴ rhoddodd yr ARGLWYDD ddiogelwch iddynt ar bob tu, yn union fel yr addawodd i'w hynafiaid; ni allodd yr un o'u gelynion eu gwrthsefyll, oherwydd rhoddodd yr ARGLWYDD hwy oll yn eu dwylo.

⁴⁴And Jehovah gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; Jehovah delivered all their enemies into their hand.

⁴⁵ Ni fethodd un o'r holl bethau da a addawodd yr ARGLWYDD i du375? Israel; daeth y cwbl i ben.

⁴⁵There failed not aught of any good thing which Jehovah had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
