1 Pan orffennodd Iesu lefaru'r geiriau hyn, ymadawodd Galilea a daeth i diriogaeth Jwdea y tu hwnt i'r Iorddonen.
1And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, he withdrew from Galilee, and came to the coasts of Judaea beyond the Jordan;
2 Dilynodd tyrfaoedd mawr ef, ac iachaodd hwy yno.
2and great crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3 Daeth Phariseaid ato i roi prawf arno gan ofyn, "A yw'n gyfreithlon i u373?r ysgaru ei wraig am unrhyw reswm a fyn?"
3And the Pharisees came to him tempting him, and saying, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
4 Atebodd yntau gan ofyn, "Onid ydych wedi darllen mai yn wryw a benyw y gwnaeth y Creawdwr hwy o'r dechreuad?"
4But he answering said [to them], Have ye not read that he who made [them], from the beginning made them male and female,
5 A dywedodd, "Dyna pam y bydd dyn yn gadael ei dad a'i fam ac yn glynu wrth ei wraig, a bydd y ddau yn un cnawd.
5and said, On account of this a man shall leave father and mother, and shall be united to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh?
6 Gan hynny nid dau mohonynt mwyach, ond un cnawd. Felly, yr hyn a gysylltodd Duw, ni ddylai neb ei wahanu."
6so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.
7 Meddent hwy wrtho, "Pam felly y gorchmynnodd Moses roi llythyr ysgar iddi a'i hanfon ymaith?"
7They say to him, Why then did Moses command to give a letter of divorce and to send [her] away?
8 Atebodd ef hwy, "Oherwydd eich ystyfnigrwydd y rhoddodd Moses ganiatd ichwi i ysgaru eich gwragedd, ond nid felly yr oedd o'r dechreuad.
8He says to them, Moses, in view of your hardheartedness, allowed you to put away your wives; but from the beginning it was not thus.
9 'Rwy'n dweud wrthych, pwy bynnag sy'n ysgaru ei wraig, ond am anffyddlondeb, ac yn priodi un arall, y mae'n godinebu."
9But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, not for fornication, and shall marry another, commits adultery; and he who marries one put away commits adultery.
10 Dywedodd ei ddisgyblion wrtho, "Os dyma'r sefyllfa rhwng dyn a'i wraig, y mae'n well peidio phriodi."
10His disciples say to him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
11 Atebodd yntau, "Nid peth i bawb yw derbyn y gair hwn, dim ond i'r rhai a ddoniwyd felly.
11And he said to them, All cannot receive this word, but those to whom it has been given;
12 Y mae rhai eunuchiaid sydd felly o groth eu mam, rhai sydd wedi eu gwneud yn eunuchiaid gan eraill, a rhai eto sydd wedi eu gwneud eu hunain yn eunuchiaid er mwyn teyrnas nefoedd. Boed i'r sawl sy'n gallu derbyn hyn ei dderbyn."
12for there are eunuchs which have been born thus from [their] mother's womb; and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs of men; and there are eunuchs who have made eunuchs of themselves for the sake of the kingdom of the heavens. He that is able to receive [it], let him receive [it].
13 Yna daethpwyd phlant ato, iddo roi ei ddwylo arnynt a gweddo. Ceryddodd y disgyblion hwy,
13Then there were brought to him little children that he might lay his hands on them and pray; but the disciples rebuked them.
14 ond dywedodd Iesu, "Gadewch i'r plant ddod ataf fi a pheidiwch 'u rhwystro, oherwydd i rai fel hwy y mae teyrnas nefoedd yn perthyn."
14But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and do not hinder them from coming to me; for the kingdom of the heavens is of such:
15 Ac wedi rhoi ei ddwylo arnynt, aeth oddi yno.
15and having laid his hands upon them, he departed thence.
16 Dyma ddyn yn dod ato ac yn gofyn, "Athro, pa beth da a wnaf i gael bywyd tragwyddol?"
16And lo, one coming up said to him, Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have life eternal?
17 A dywedodd Iesu wrtho, "Pam yr wyt yn fy holi am yr hyn sy'n dda? Un yn unig sy'n dda. Ond os mynni fynd i mewn i'r bywyd, cadw'r gorchmynion."
17And he said to him, What askest thou me concerning goodness? one is good. But if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 Meddai yntau wrtho, "Pa rai?" Atebodd Iesu, "'Na ladd, na odineba, na ladrata, na chamdystiolaetha,
18He says to him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 anrhydedda dy dad a'th fam', a 'Cr dy gymydog fel ti dy hun.'"
19Honour thy father and thy mother, and Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 Dywedodd y dyn ifanc wrtho, "Yr wyf wedi cadw'r rhain i gyd. Beth arall sydd eisiau?"
20The young man says to him, All these have I kept; what lack I yet?
21 Meddai Iesu wrtho, "Os mynni fod yn berffaith, dos, gwerth dy eiddo a dyro i'r tlodion, a chei drysor yn y nefoedd; a thyrd, canlyn fi."
21Jesus said to him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell what thou hast and give to [the] poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.
22 Ond pan glywodd y dyn ifanc y gair hwn, aeth ymaith yn drist, oherwydd yr oedd yn berchen meddiannau lawer.
22But the young man, having heard the word, went away grieved, for he had large possessions.
23 Dywedodd Iesu wrth ei ddisgyblion, "Yn wir, 'rwy'n dweud wrthych mai anodd fydd hi i rywun cyfoethog fynd i mewn i deyrnas nefoedd.
23And Jesus said to his disciples, Verily I say unto you, A rich man shall with difficulty enter into the kingdom of the heavens;
24 'Rwy'n dweud wrthych eto, y mae'n haws i gamel fynd trwy grau nodwydd nag i rywun cyfoethog fynd i mewn i deyrnas Dduw."
24and again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to enter a needle's eye than a rich man into the kingdom of God.
25 Pan glywodd y disgyblion hyn, synasant yn fawr ac meddent, "Pwy felly all gael ei achub?"
25And when the disciples heard [it] they were exceedingly astonished, saying, Who then can be saved?
26 Edrychodd Iesu arnynt a dywedodd wrthynt, "Gyda dynion y mae hyn yn amhosibl, ond gyda Duw y mae pob peth yn bosibl."
26But Jesus, looking on [them], said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
27 Yna atebodd Pedr ef, "Dyma ni wedi gadael pob peth a'th ganlyn di. Beth felly a gawn ni?"
27Then Peter answering said to him, Behold, *we* have left all things and have followed thee; what then shall happen to us?
28 Dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "Yn wir, 'rwy'n dweud wrthych, pan enir yr oes newydd, pan fydd Mab y Dyn yn eistedd ar ei orsedd ogoneddus, byddwch chwi a'm canlynodd i hefyd yn eistedd ar ddeuddeg gorsedd gan farnu deuddeg llwyth Israel.
28And Jesus said to them, Verily I say unto you, That *ye* who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit down upon his throne of glory, *ye* also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 A phob un a adawodd dai neu frodyr neu chwiorydd neu dad neu fam neu blant neu diroedd er mwyn fy enw i, caiff dderbyn ganwaith cymaint ac etifeddu bywyd tragwyddol.
29And every one who has left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit life eternal.
30 Ond bydd llawer o'r rhai blaenaf yn olaf, ac o'r rhai olaf yn flaenaf.
30But many first shall be last, and last first.
