Psalms

109

1 1 I'r Cyfarwyddwr: i Ddafydd. Salm.0 O Dduw fy moliant, paid  thewi.
1{To the chief Musician. Of David. A Psalm.} O God of my praise, be not silent:
2 Oherwydd agorasant eu genau drygionus a thwyllodrus yn fy erbyn, a llefaru wrthyf thafod celwyddog,
2For the mouth of the wicked [man] and the mouth of deceit are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue,
3 a'm hamgylchu geiriau casineb, ac ymosod arnaf heb achos.
3And with words of hatred have they encompassed me; and they fight against me without a cause.
4 Am fy ngharedigrwydd y'm cyhuddant, a minnau'n gweddo drostynt.
4For my love they are mine adversaries; but I [give myself unto] prayer.
5 Talasant imi ddrwg am dda, a chasineb am gariad.
5And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
6 Apwyntier un drwg yn ei erbyn, a chyhuddwr i sefyll ar ei dde.
6Set a wicked [man] over him, and let [the] adversary stand at his right hand;
7 Pan fernir ef, caffer ef yn euog, ac ystyrier ei weddi'n bechod.
7When he shall be judged, let him go out guilty, and let his prayer become sin;
8 Bydded ei ddyddiau'n ychydig, a chymered arall ei swydd;
8Let his days be few, let another take his office;
9 bydded ei blant yn amddifad a'i wraig yn weddw.
9Let his sons be fatherless, and his wife a widow;
10 Crwydred ei blant i gardota wedi eu troi allan o'u hadfeilion.
10Let his sons be vagabonds and beg, and let them seek [their bread] far from their desolate places;
11 Cymered y benthyciwr bopeth sydd ganddo, a dyged estroniaid ei enillion.
11Let the usurer cast the net over all that he hath, and let strangers despoil his labour;
12 Na fydded i neb drugarhau wrtho, na gwneud ffafr 'i blant amddifad.
12Let there be none to extend kindness unto him, neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children;
13 Torrer ymaith ei linach, a'i henw wedi ei ddileu o fewn cenhedlaeth.
13Let his posterity be cut off; in the generation following let their name be blotted out:
14 Dyger i gof ddrygioni ei hynafiaid gerbron yr ARGLWYDD, ac na ddileer pechodau ei fam.
14Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with Jehovah, and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out;
15 Bydded hyn mewn cof gan yr ARGLWYDD yn wastad, a bydded iddo dorri ymaith eu coffa o'r tir.
15Let them be before Jehovah continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth:
16 Oherwydd ni chofiodd hwn fod yn ffyddlon, ond erlidiodd y gorthrymedig a'r tlawd, a'r drylliedig o galon hyd angau.
16Because he remembered not to shew kindness, but persecuted the afflicted and needy man, and the broken in heart, to slay him.
17 Carodd felltithio: doed melltith arno yntau. Ni hoffai fendithio; pell y bo bendith oddi wrtho yntau.
17And he loved cursing; so let it come unto him. And he delighted not in blessing; and let it be far from him.
18 Gwisgodd felltith amdano fel dilledyn; suddodd i'w gnawd fel du373?r, ac fel olew i'w esgyrn.
18And he clothed himself with cursing like his vestment; so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones;
19 Bydded fel y dillad a wisga, ac fel y gwregys sydd amdano bob amser.
19Let it be unto him as a garment with which he covereth himself, and for a girdle wherewith he is constantly girded.
20 Hyn fyddo tl yr ARGLWYDD i'm cyhuddwyr, sy'n llefaru drygioni yn fy erbyn.
20Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from Jehovah, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
21 Ond tydi, fy ARGLWYDD Dduw, gweithreda drosof er mwyn dy enw; oherwydd daioni dy gariad, gwareda fi.
21But do *thou* for me, Jehovah, Lord, for thy name's sake; because thy loving-kindness is good, deliver me:
22 Yr wyf yn druan a thlawd, a'm calon mewn gwewyr ynof.
22For I am afflicted and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
23 Yr wyf yn darfod fel cysgod hwyrddydd; fe'm gyrrir ymaith fel locust.
23I am gone like a shadow when it lengtheneth; I am tossed about like the locust;
24 Y mae fy ngliniau'n wan gan ympryd, a'm corff yn denau o ddiffyg braster.
24My knees are failing through fasting, and my flesh hath lost its fatness;
25 Deuthum yn gyff gwawd iddynt; pan welant fi, ysgydwant eu pennau.
25And I am become a reproach unto them; [when] they look upon me they shake their heads.
26 Cynorthwya, fi, O ARGLWYDD fy Nuw, achub fi yn l dy drugaredd,
26Help me, Jehovah my God; save me according to thy loving-kindness:
27 a gad iddynt wybod mai dy law di ydyw, mai ti, ARGLWYDD, a'i gwnaeth.
27That they may know that this is thy hand; that *thou*, Jehovah, hast done it.
28 Pan fnt hwy'n melltithio, bendithia di; cywilyddier fy ngwrthwynebwyr, a bydded dy was yn llawen.
28Let *them* curse, but bless *thou*; when they rise up, let them be ashamed, and let thy servant rejoice.
29 Gwisger fy nghyhuddwyr gwarth; bydded eu cywilydd fel mantell amdanynt.
29Let mine adversaries be clothed with confusion, and let them cover themselves with their shame as with a mantle.
30 Clodforaf fi yr ARGLWYDD 'm genau, a moliannaf ef yng ngu373?ydd cynulleidfa.
30I will greatly celebrate Jehovah with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
31 Oherwydd saif ef ar ddeheulaw'r tlawd, i'w achub rhag ei gyhuddwyr.
31For he standeth at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those that judge his soul.
