1 1 I'r Cyfarwyddwr: gydag offerynnau llinynnol. Mascl. I Ddafydd.0 Gwrando, O Dduw, ar fy ngweddi; paid ag ymguddio rhag fy neisyfiad.
1{To the chief Musician. On stringed instruments: an instruction. Of David.} Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
2 Gwrando arnaf ac ateb fi; yr wyf wedi fy llethu gan fy nghwyn.
2Attend unto me, and answer me: I wander about in my plaint, and I moan aloud,
3 Yr wyf bron drysu gan su373?n y gelyn, gan grochlefain y drygionus; oherwydd pentyrrant ddrygioni arnaf, ac ymosod arnaf yn eu llid.
3Because of the voice of the enemy; because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in anger they persecute me.
4 Y mae fy nghalon mewn gwewyr, a daeth ofn angau ar fy ngwarthaf.
4My heart is writhing within me, and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
5 Daeth arnaf ofn ac arswyd, ac fe'm meddiannwyd gan ddychryn.
5Fear and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.
6 A dywedais, "O na fyddai gennyf adenydd colomen, imi gael ehedeg ymaith a gorffwyso!
6And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away, and be at rest;
7 Yna byddwn yn crwydro ymhell ac yn aros yn yr anialwch; Sela.
7Behold, I would flee afar off, I would lodge in the wilderness; Selah;
8 brysiwn i gael cysgod rhag y gwynt stormus a'r dymestl."
8I would hasten my escape from the stormy wind, from the tempest.
9 O Dduw, cymysga a rhanna'u hiaith, oherwydd gwelais drais a chynnen yn y ddinas;
9Swallow [them] up, Lord; divide their tongue: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
10 ddydd a nos y maent yn ei hamgylchu ar y muriau, ac y mae drygioni a thrybini o'i mewn,
10Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof; and iniquity and mischief are in the midst of it.
11 dinistr yn ei chanol; ac nid yw twyll a gorthrwm yn ymadael o'i marchnadfa.
11Perversities are in the midst thereof; and oppression and deceit depart not from its streets.
12 Ond nid gelyn a'm gwawdiodd  gallwn oddef hynny; nid un o'm caseion a'm bychanodd  gallwn guddio rhag hwnnw;
12For it is not an enemy that hath reproached me -- then could I have borne it; neither is it he that hateth me that hath magnified [himself] against me -- then would I have hidden myself from him;
13 ond ti, fy nghydradd, fy nghydymaith, fy nghydnabod
13But it was thou, a man mine equal, mine intimate, my familiar friend. ...
14 buom mewn cyfeillach felys 'n gilydd wrth gerdded gyda'r dyrfa yn nhu375? Dduw.
14We who held sweet intercourse together. To the house of God we walked amid the throng.
15 Doed marwolaeth arnynt; bydded iddynt fynd yn fyw i Sheol, am fod drygioni'n cartrefu yn eu mysg.
15Let death seize upon them, let them go down alive into Sheol. For wickedness is in their dwellings, in their midst.
16 Ond gwaeddaf fi ar Dduw, a bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn fy achub.
16As for me, unto God will I call; and Jehovah will save me.
17 Hwyr a bore a chanol dydd fe gwynaf a griddfan, a chlyw ef fy llais.
17Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray and moan aloud; and he will hear my voice.
18 Gwareda fy mywyd yn ddiogel o'r rhyfel yr wyf ynddo, oherwydd y mae llawer i'm herbyn.
18He hath redeemed my soul in peace from the battle against me: for there were many about me.
19 Gwrendy Duw a'u darostwng y mae ef wedi ei orseddu erioed Sela. am na fynnant newid nac ofni Duw.
19ùGod will hear, and afflict them: he that is seated of old, (Selah) ... because there is no change in them, and they fear not God.
20 Estynnodd fy nghydymaith ei law yn erbyn ei gyfeillion, torrodd ei gyfamod.
20He hath put forth his hands against such as are at peace with him; he hath profaned his covenant.
21 Yr oedd ei leferydd yn esmwythach na menyn, ond yr oedd rhyfel yn ei galon; yr oedd ei eiriau'n llyfnach nag olew, ond yr oeddent yn gleddyfau noeth.
21Smooth were the milky [words] of his mouth, but his heart was war; his words were softer than oil, yet are they drawn swords.
22 Bwrw dy faich ar yr ARGLWYDD, ac fe'th gynnal di; ni ad i'r cyfiawn gael ei ysgwyd byth.
22Cast thy burden upon Jehovah, and *he* will sustain thee: he will never suffer the righteous to be moved.
23 Ti, O Dduw, a'u bwria i'r pwll isaf rhai gwaedlyd a thwyllodrus ni chnt fyw hanner eu dyddiau. Ond ymddiriedaf fi ynot ti.
23And thou, O God, wilt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days. But as for me, I will confide in thee.
