1 1 I'r Cyfarwyddwr: Cn. Salm.0 Bloeddiwch mewn gorfoledd i Dduw, yr holl ddaear;
1{To the chief Musician. A Song: a Psalm.} Shout aloud unto God, all the earth:
2 canwch i ogoniant ei enw; rhowch iddo foliant gogoneddus.
2Sing forth the glory of his name, make his praise glorious;
3 Dywedwch wrth Dduw, "Mor ofnadwy yw dy weithredoedd! Gan faint dy nerth ymgreinia dy elynion o'th flaen;
3Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! because of the greatness of thy strength, thine enemies come cringing unto thee.
4 y mae'r holl ddaear yn ymgrymu o'th flaen, ac yn canu mawl i ti, yn canu mawl i'th enw." Sela.
4All the earth shall worship thee, and sing psalms unto thee: they shall sing forth thy name. Selah.
5 Dewch i weld yr hyn a wnaeth Duw y mae'n ofnadwy yn ei weithredoedd tuag at bobl
5Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in [his] doings toward the children of men.
6 trodd y mr yn sychdir, aethant ar droed trwy'r afon; yno y llawenychwn ynddo.
6He turned the sea into dry [land]; they went through the river on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
7 Y mae ef yn llywodraethu 'i nerth am byth, a'i lygaid yn gwylio dros y cenhedloedd; na fydded i'r gwrthryfelwyr godi yn ei erbyn! Sela.
7He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes observe the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
8 Bendithiwch ein Duw, O bobloedd, a seiniwch ei fawl yn glywadwy.
8Bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;
9 Ef a roes le i ni ymysg y byw, ac ni adawodd i'n troed lithro.
9Who hath set our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
10 Oherwydd buost yn ein profi, O Dduw, ac yn ein coethi fel arian.
10For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
11 Dygaist ni i'r rhwyd, rhoist rwymau amdanom,
11Thou broughtest us into a net, thou didst lay a heavy burden upon our loins;
12 gadewaist i ddynion farchogaeth dros ein pennau, aethom trwy dn a dyfroedd; ond dygaist ni allan i ryddid.
12Thou didst cause men to ride over our head; we went through fire and through water: but thou hast brought us out into abundance.
13 Dof i'th deml phoethoffrymau, talaf i ti fy addunedau,
13I will go into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will perform my vows to thee,
14 a wneuthum 'm gwefusau ac a lefarodd fy ngenau pan oedd yn gyfyng arnaf.
14Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
15 Aberthaf i ti basgedigion yn boethoffrymau, a hefyd hyrddod yn arogldarth; darparaf ychen a bychod geifr. Sela.
15I will offer up unto thee burnt-offerings of fatted beasts, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
16 Dewch i wrando, chwi oll sy'n ofni Duw, ac adroddaf yr hyn a wnaeth Duw i mi.
16Come, hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
17 Gwaeddais arno 'm genau, ac yr oedd moliant ar fy nhafod.
17I called unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
18 Pe bawn wedi coleddu drygioni yn fy nghalon, ni fuasai'r Arglwydd wedi gwrando;
18Had I regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear.
19 ond yn wir, gwrandawodd Duw, a rhoes sylw i lef fy ngweddi.
19But God hath heard; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Bendigedig fyddo Duw am na throdd fy ngweddi oddi wrtho, na'i ffyddlondeb oddi wrthyf.
20Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his loving-kindness from me!
