Psalms

80

1 1 I'r Cyfarwyddwr: ar Lilau. Tystiolaeth. I Asaff. Salm.0 Gwrando, O fugail Israel, sy'n arwain Joseff fel diadell.
1{To the chief Musician. On Shoshannim-Eduth. Of Asaph. A Psalm.} Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that sittest [between] the cherubim, shine forth.
2 Ti sydd wedi dy orseddu ar y cerwbiaid, disgleiria i Effraim, Benjamin a Manasse. Gwna i'th nerth gyffroi, a thyrd i'n gwaredu.
2Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy strength, and come to our deliverance.
3 Adfer ni, O Dduw; bydded llewyrch dy wyneb arnom, a gwareder ni.
3O God, restore us; and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
4 O ARGLWYDD Dduw y Lluoedd, am ba hyd y byddi'n ddig wrth weddau dy bobl?
4Jehovah, God of hosts, how long will thine anger smoke against the prayer of thy people?
5 Yr wyt wedi eu bwydo bara dagrau, a'u diodi mesur llawn o ddagrau.
5Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure:
6 Gwnaethost ni'n ddirmyg i'n cymdogion, ac y mae ein gelynion yn ein gwawdio.
6Thou hast made us a strife unto our neighbours, and our enemies mock among themselves.
7 O Dduw'r Lluoedd, adfer ni; bydded llewyrch dy wyneb arnom, a gwareder ni.
7Restore us, O God of hosts; and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
8 Daethost  gwinwydden o'r Aifft; gyrraist allan genhedloedd er mwyn ei phlannu;
8Thou broughtest a vine out of Egypt; thou didst cast out the nations, and plant it:
9 cliriaist y tir iddi; magodd hithau wreiddiau a llenwi'r tir.
9Thou preparedst space before it, and it took deep root, and filled the land;
10 Yr oedd ei chysgod yn gorchuddio'r mynyddoedd, a'i changau fel y cedrwydd cryfion;
10The mountains were covered with its shadow, and the branches thereof were [like] cedars of ùGod;
11 estynnodd ei brigau at y mr, a'i blagur at yr afon.
11It sent out its boughs unto the sea, and its shoots unto the river.
12 Pam felly y bylchaist ei chloddiau, fel bod y rhai sy'n mynd heibio yn tynnu ei ffrwyth?
12Why hast thou broken down its fences, so that all who pass by the way do pluck it?
13 Y mae baedd y goedwig yn ei thyrchu, ac anifeiliaid gwyllt yn ei phori.
13The boar out of the forest doth waste it, and the beast of the field doth feed off it.
14 O Dduw'r Lluoedd, tro eto, edrych i lawr o'r nefoedd a gwl, gofala am y winwydden hon,
14O God of hosts, return, we beseech thee; look down from the heavens, and behold, and visit this vine;
15 y planhigyn a blennaist 'th ddeheulaw, y gainc yr wyt yn ei chyfnerthu.
15Even the stock which thy right hand hath planted, and the young plant thou madest strong for thyself.
16 Bydded i'r rhai sy'n ei llosgi thn ac yn ei thorri i lawr gael eu difetha gan gerydd dy wynepryd.
16It is burned with fire, it is cut down; they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17 Ond bydded dy law ar y sawl sydd ar dy ddeheulaw, ar yr un yr wyt ti'n ei gyfnerthu.
17Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou hast made strong for thyself.
18 Ni thrown oddi wrthyt mwyach; adfywia ni, ac fe alwn ar dy enw.
18So will we not go back from thee. Revive us, and we will call upon thy name.
19 ARGLWYDD Dduw y Lluoedd, adfer ni; bydded llewyrch dy wyneb arnom, a gwareder ni.
19Restore us, O Jehovah, God of hosts; cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
