1 1 Salm. I Asaff.0 O Dduw, daeth y cenhedloedd i'th etifeddiaeth, a halogi dy deml sanctaidd, a gwneud Jerwsalem yn adfeilion.
1{A Psalm of Asaph.} O God, the nations are come into thine inheritance: thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem in heaps.
2 Rhoesant gyrff dy weision yn fwyd i adar yr awyr, a chnawd dy ffyddloniaid i'r bwystfilod.
2The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowl of the heavens, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth:
3 Y maent wedi tywallt gwaed fel du373?r o amgylch Jerwsalem, ac nid oes neb i'w claddu.
3Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem, and there was none to bury [them].
4 Aethom yn watwar i'n cymdogion, yn wawd a dirmyg i'r rhai o'n cwmpas.
4We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a mockery and a derision to them that are round about us.
5 Am ba hyd, ARGLWYDD? A fyddi'n ddig am byth? A yw dy eiddigedd i losgi fel tn?
5How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou be angry for ever? Shall thy jealousy burn like fire?
6 Tywallt dy lid ar y cenhedloedd nad ydynt yn dy adnabod, ac ar y teyrnasoedd nad ydynt yn galw ar dy enw,
6Pour out thy fury upon the nations that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that call not upon thy name:
7 am iddynt ysu Jacob a difetha ei drigfan.
7For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his habitation.
8 Paid dal yn ein herbyn ni ddrygioni ein hynafiaid, ond doed dy dosturi atom ar frys, oherwydd fe'n darostyngwyd yn llwyr.
8Remember not against us the iniquities of [our] forefathers; let thy tender mercies speedily come to meet us: for we are brought very low.
9 Cymorth ni, O Dduw ein hiachawdwriaeth, oherwydd anrhydedd dy enw; gwared ni, a maddau ein pechodau er mwyn dy enw.
9Help us, O God of our salvation, because of the glory of thy name; and deliver us, and forgive our sins, for thy name's sake.
10 Pam y caiff y cenhedloedd ddweud, "Ple mae eu Duw?" Dysger y cenhedloedd yn ein gu373?ydd beth yw dy ddialedd am waed tywalltedig dy weision.
10Wherefore should the nations say, Where is their God? Let the avenging of the blood of thy servants that is shed be known among the nations in our sight.
11 Doed ochneidio'r carcharorion hyd atat, ac yn dy nerth mawr arbed y rhai oedd i farw.
11Let the groaning of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thine arm, preserve those that are appointed to die;
12 Taro'n l seithwaith i'n cymdogion, a hynny i'r byw, y gwatwar a wnnt wrth dy ddifro, O Arglwydd.
12And render unto our neighbours, sevenfold into their bosom, their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.
13 Yna, byddwn ni, dy bobl a phraidd dy borfa, yn dy foliannu am byth, ac yn adrodd dy foliant dros y cenedlaethau.
13And we, thy people and the sheep of thy pasture, will give thanks unto thee for ever; we will shew forth thy praise from generation to generation.
