1O ùGod of vengeances, Jehovah, ùGod of vengeances, shine forth;
2 Cyfod, O farnwr y ddaear, rho eu haeddiant i'r balch.
2Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth, render the reward to the proud.
3 Am ba hyd y bydd y drygionus, ARGLWYDD, y bydd y drygionus yn gorfoleddu?
3How long shall the wicked, O Jehovah, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 Y maent yn tywallt eu parabl trahaus; y mae'r holl wneuthurwyr drygioni'n ymfalch�o.
4[How long] shall they utter [and] speak insolence -- all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 Y maent yn sigo dy bobl, O ARGLWYDD, ac yn poenydio dy etifeddiaeth.
5They crush thy people, O Jehovah, and afflict thine inheritance;
6 Lladdant y weddw a'r estron, a llofruddio'r amddifad,
6They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless,
7 a dweud, "Nid yw'r ARGLWYDD yn gweld, ac nid yw Duw Jacob yn sylwi."
7And say, Jah will not see, neither will the God of Jacob regard [it].
8 Deallwch hyn, chwi'r dylaf o bobl! Ffyliaid, pa bryd y byddwch ddoeth?
8Understand, ye brutish among the people; and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
9 Onid yw'r un a blannodd glust yn clywed, a'r un a luniodd lygad yn gweld?
9He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 Onid oes gan yr un sy'n disgyblu cenhedloedd gerydd, a'r un sy'n dysgu pobl wybodaeth?
10He that instructeth the nations, shall not he correct -- he that teacheth man knowledge?
11 Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn gwybod meddyliau pobl, mai gwynt ydynt.
11Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Gwyn ei fyd y sawl a ddisgybli, O ARGLWYDD, ac a ddysgi allan o'th gyfraith,
12Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Jah, and whom thou teachest out of thy law;
13 i roi iddo lonyddwch rhag dyddiau adfyd, nes agor pwll i'r drygionus.
13That thou mayest give him rest from the days of evil, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 Oherwydd nid yw'r ARGLWYDD yn gwrthod ei bobl, nac yn gadael ei etifeddiaeth;
14For Jehovah will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance;
15 oherwydd dychwel barn at y rhai cyfiawn, a bydd yr holl rai uniawn yn ei dilyn.
15For judgment shall return unto righteousness, and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Pwy a saif drosof yn erbyn y drygionus, a sefyll o'm plaid yn erbyn gwneuthurwyr drygioni?
16Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? who will stand for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Oni bai i'r ARGLWYDD fy nghynorthwyo byddwn yn fuan wedi mynd i dir distawrwydd.
17If Jehovah had not been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18 Pan oeddwn yn meddwl bod fy nhroed yn llithro, yr oedd dy ffyddlondeb di, O ARGLWYDD, yn fy nghynnal.
18When I said, My foot slippeth, thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, held me up.
19 Er bod pryderon fy nghalon yn niferus, y mae dy gysuron di'n fy llawenhau.
19In the multitude of my anxious thoughts within me thy comforts have delighted my soul.
20 A fydd cynghrair rhyngot ti a llywodraeth distryw, sy'n cynllunio niwed trwy gyfraith?
20Shall the throne of wickedness be united to thee, which frameth mischief into a law?
21 Cytunant �'i gilydd am fywyd y cyfiawn, a chondemnio'r dieuog i farw.
21They band together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.
22 Ond y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn amddiffyn i mi, a'm Duw yn graig i'm llochesu.
22But Jehovah will be my high tower; and my God the rock of my refuge.
23 Daw �'u camweddau eu hunain yn �l arnynt, ac fe'u diddyma am eu drygioni. Bydd yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw yn eu diddymu.
23And he will bring upon them their iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evil: Jehovah our God will cut them off.
