Darby's Translation

Revelation

20

1 Gwelais angel yn disgyn o'r nef, a chanddo yn ei law allwedd y dyfnder a chadwyn fawr.
1And I saw an angel descending from the heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand.
2 Gafaelodd yn y ddraig, yr hen sarff, sef Diafol a Satan, a rhwymodd hi am fil o flynyddoedd.
2And he laid hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent who is [the] devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 Bwriodd hi i'r dyfnder, a chloi'r pwll a'i selio arni rhag iddi dwyllo'r cenhedloedd eto, nes i'r mil blynyddoedd ddod i ben; ar l hynny, rhaid ei gollwng yn rhydd am ychydig amser.
3and cast him into the abyss, and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he should not any more deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be loosed for a little time.
4 Gwelais orseddau, ac yn eistedd arnynt y rhai y rhoddwyd iddynt awdurdod i farnu; gwelais hefyd eneidiau'r rhai a ddienyddiwyd ar gyfrif tystiolaeth Iesu ac ar gyfrif gair Duw. Nid oedd y rhain wedi addoli'r bwystfil, na'i ddelw ef, na chwaith wedi derbyn ei nod ar eu talcen nac ar eu llaw. Daethant yn fyw, a theyrnasu gyda Christ am fil o flynyddoedd.
4And I saw thrones; and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them; and the souls of those beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus, and on account of the word of God; and those who had not done homage to the beast nor to his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and hand; and they lived and reigned with the Christ a thousand years:
5 Ni ddaeth gweddill y meirw yn fyw nes i'r mil blynyddoedd ddod i ben. Dyma'r atgyfodiad cyntaf.
5the rest of the dead did not live till the thousand years had been completed. This [is] the first resurrection.
6 Gwyn ei fyd a sanctaidd y sawl sydd rhan yn yr atgyfodiad cyntaf; nid oes gan yr ail farwolaeth awdurdod arnynt, ond byddant yn offeiriaid Duw a Christ, a theyrnasant gydag ef am y mil blynyddoedd.
6Blessed and holy he who has part in the first resurrection: over these the second death has no power; but they shall be priests of God and of the Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 Pan ddaw'r mil blynyddoedd i ben, caiff Satan ei ollwng yn rhydd o'i garchar,
7And when the thousand years have been completed, Satan shall be loosed from his prison,
8 a daw allan i dwyllo'r cenhedloedd ym mhedwar ban y byd, sef lluoedd Gog a Magog, a'u casglu ynghyd i ryfel; byddant mor niferus thywod y mr.
8and shall go out to deceive the nations which [are] in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, whose number [is] as the sand of the sea.
9 Cyrchasant dros wyneb y ddaear ac amgylchynu gwersyll y saint a'r ddinas sy'n annwyl gan Dduw. Ond disgynnodd tn o'r nef a'u difa'n llwyr;
9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city: and fire came down [from God] out of the heaven and devoured them.
10 a bwriwyd y diafol, twyllwr y cenhedloedd, i'r llyn tn a brwmstan, lle mae'r bwystfil hefyd a'r gau broffwyd. Yno cnt eu poenydio ddydd a nos byth bythoedd.
10And the devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where [are] both the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for the ages of ages.
11 Gwelais orsedd fawr wen a'r Un oedd yn eistedd arni, hwnnw y ffoesai'r ddaear a'r nef o'i u373?ydd a'u gadael heb le.
11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and place was not found for them.
12 Gwelais y meirw, yn fawr a bach, yn sefyll o flaen yr orsedd; ac agorwyd llyfrau. Yna agorwyd llyfr arall, sef llyfr y bywyd; a barnwyd y meirw ar sail yr hyn oedd yn ysgrifenedig yn y llyfrau, yn l eu gweithredoedd.
12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is [that] of life. And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books according to their works.
13 Ildiodd y mr y meirw oedd ynddo, ac ildiodd Marwolaeth a Hades y rhai oedd ynddynt hwy, ac fe'u barnwyd, pob un yn l ei weithredoedd.
13And the sea gave up the dead which [were] in it, and death and hades gave up the dead which [were] in them; and they were judged each according to their works:
14 Bwriwyd Marwolaeth a Hades i'r llyn tn; dyma'r ail farwolaeth, sef y llyn tn.
14and death and hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, [even] the lake of fire.
15 Pwy bynnag ni chafwyd ei enw'n ysgrifenedig yn llyfr y bywyd, fe'i bwriwyd i'r llyn tn.
15And if any one was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
