Genesis

45

1 Methodd Joseff ymatal yng ngu373?ydd ei weision, a gwaeddodd, "Gyrrwch bawb allan oddi wrthyf." Felly nid arhosodd neb gyda Joseff pan ddatgelodd i'w frodyr pwy ydoedd.
1Then Joseph couldn’t control himself before all those who stood before him, and he cried, “Cause everyone to go out from me!” No one else stood with him, while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.
2 Wylodd yn uchel, nes bod yr Eifftiaid a theulu Pharo yn ei glywed,
2He wept aloud. The Egyptians heard, and the house of Pharaoh heard.
3 a dywedodd wrth ei frodyr, "Joseff wyf fi. A yw fy nhad yn dal yn fyw?" Ond ni allai ei frodyr ei ateb, gan eu bod wedi eu cynhyrfu wrth ei weld.
3Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Does my father still live?” His brothers couldn’t answer him; for they were terrified at his presence.
4 Yna meddai Joseff wrth ei frodyr, "Dewch yn nes ataf." Wedi iddynt nesu, dywedodd, "Myfi yw eich brawd Joseff, a werthwyd gennych i'r Aifft.
4Joseph said to his brothers, “Come near to me, please.” They came near. “He said, I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.
5 Yn awr, peidiwch chyffroi na bod yn ddig wrthych eich hunain, am i chwi fy ngwerthu i'r lle hwn, oherwydd anfonodd Duw fi o'ch blaen er mwyn diogelu bywyd.
5Now don’t be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.
6 Bu newyn drwy'r wlad y ddwy flynedd hyn; a bydd eto bum mlynedd heb aredig na medi.
6For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are yet five years, in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest.
7 Anfonodd Duw fi o'ch blaen i sicrhau hil i chwi ar y ddaear, ac i gadw'n fyw o'ch plith nifer mawr o waredigion.
7God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to save you alive by a great deliverance.
8 Felly nid chwi ond Duw a'm hanfonodd yma, a'm gwneud fel tad i Pharo, ac yn arglwydd ar ei holl dylwyth a llywodraethwr dros holl wlad yr Aifft.
8So now it wasn’t you who sent me here, but God, and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.
9 Ewch ar frys at fy nhad a dywedwch wrtho, 'Dyma y mae dy fab Joseff yn ei ddweud: "Y mae Duw wedi fy ngwneud yn arglwydd ar yr Aifft i gyd. Tyrd i lawr ataf, paid ag oedi dim.
9Hurry, and go up to my father, and tell him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says, “God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me. Don’t wait.
10 Cei fyw yn f'ymyl yng ngwlad Gosen gyda'th blant a'th wyrion, dy ddefaid a'th wartheg, a'th holl eiddo;
10You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you will be near to me, you, your children, your children’s children, your flocks, your herds, and all that you have.
11 a chynhaliaf di yno, rhag i ti na neb o'th dylwyth fynd yn dlawd, oherwydd fe fydd eto bum mlynedd o newyn."'
11There I will nourish you; for there are yet five years of famine; lest you come to poverty, you, and your household, and all that you have.”’
12 Yn awr yr ydych chwi a'm brawd Benjamin yn llygad-dystion mai myfi'n wir sy'n siarad chwi.
12Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.
13 Rhaid ichwi ddweud wrth fy nhad am yr holl anrhydedd yr wyf wedi ei gael yn yr Aifft, ac am bopeth yr ydych wedi ei weld. Ewch ar unwaith, a dewch 'm tad i lawr yma."
13You shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen. You shall hurry and bring my father down here.”
14 Yna rhoes ei freichiau am wddf ei frawd Benjamin ac wylo; ac wylodd Benjamin ar ei ysgwydd yntau.
14He fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck, and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck.
15 Cusanodd ei frodyr i gyd, gan wylo. Wedyn cafodd ei frodyr sgwrs ag ef.
15He kissed all his brothers, and wept on them. After that his brothers talked with him.
16 Pan ddaeth y newydd i du375? Pharo fod brodyr Joseff wedi cyrraedd, llawenhaodd Pharo a'i weision.
16The report of it was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, “Joseph’s brothers have come.” It pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.
17 Dywedodd Pharo wrth Joseff, "Dywed wrth dy frodyr, 'Gwnewch fel hyn: llwythwch eich anifeiliaid a theithio'n l i wlad Canaan.
17Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘Do this. Load your animals, and go, travel to the land of Canaan.
18 Yna dewch 'ch tad a'ch teuluoedd ataf, a rhof ichwi orau gwlad yr Aifft, a chewch fyw ar fraster y wlad.'
18Take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.’
19 Yna gorchymyn iddynt, 'Gwnewch fel hyn: cymerwch wageni o wlad yr Aifft i'ch rhai bach ac i'ch gwragedd, a dewch 'ch tad yma.
19Now you are commanded: do this. Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
20 Peidiwch phryderu am eich celfi; y mae gorau holl wlad yr Aifft at eich galwad.'"
20Also, don’t concern yourselves about your belongings, for the good of all of the land of Egypt is yours.”
21 Gwnaeth meibion Israel felly; rhoddodd Joseff wageni iddynt, ar orchymyn Pharo, a bwyd at y daith.
21The sons of Israel did so. Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.
22 Rhoddodd wisg newydd hefyd i bob un ohonynt, ond i Benjamin rhoddodd dri chant o ddarnau arian a phum gwisg newydd.
22He gave each one of them changes of clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of clothing.
23 Dyma a anfonodd i'w dad: deg asyn yn llwythog o bethau gorau'r Aifft, a deg o asennod yn cario u375?d a bara, a bwyd i'w dad at y daith.
23He sent the following to his father: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and provision for his father by the way.
24 Yna anfonodd ei frodyr ymaith, ac wrth iddynt gychwyn dywedodd, "Peidiwch chweryla ar y ffordd."
24So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. He said to them, “See that you don’t quarrel on the way.”
25 Felly aethant o'r Aifft a dod i wlad Canaan at eu tad Jacob.
25They went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan, to Jacob their father.
26 Dywedasant wrtho, "Y mae Joseff yn dal yn fyw, ac ef yw llywodraethwr holl wlad yr Aifft." Aeth yntau yn wan drwyddo, oherwydd nid oedd yn eu credu.
26They told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” His heart fainted, for he didn’t believe them.
27 Ond pan adroddasant iddo holl eiriau Joseff, fel y dywedodd ef wrthynt, a phan welodd y wageni yr oedd Joseff wedi eu hanfon i'w gludo, adfywiodd ysbryd eu tad Jacob.
27They told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them. When he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob, their father, revived.
28 A dywedodd Israel, "Dyma ddigon, y mae fy mab Joseff yn dal yn fyw. Af finnau i'w weld cyn marw."
28Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”
