2 "Dewch yma a gwrandewch, feibion Jacob, gwrandewch ar Israel eich tad.
2Assemble yourselves, and hear, you sons of Jacob. Listen to Israel, your father.
3 "Reuben, ti yw fy nghyntafanedig, fy ngrym a blaenffrwyth fy nerth, yn rhagori mewn balchder, yn rhagori mewn gallu,
3“Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength; excelling in dignity, and excelling in power.
4 yn aflonydd fel du373?r; ni ragori mwyach, oherwydd dringaist i wely dy dad, dringaist i'm gorweddfa a'i halogi.
4Boiling over as water, you shall not excel; because you went up to your father’s bed, then defiled it. He went up to my couch.
5 "Y mae Simeon a Lefi yn frodyr; arfau creulon yw eu ceibiau.
5“Simeon and Levi are brothers. Their swords are weapons of violence.
6 Na fydded imi fynd i'w cyngor, na pherthyn i'w cwmni; oherwydd yn eu llid lladdasant wu375?r, a thorri llinynnau gar yr ychen fel y mynnent.
6My soul, don’t come into their council. My glory, don’t be united to their assembly; for in their anger they killed men. In their self-will they hamstrung cattle.
7 Melltigedig fyddo eu llid am ei fod mor arw, a'u dicter am ei fod mor greulon; rhannaf hwy yn Jacob a'u gwasgaru yn Israel.
7Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.
8 "Jwda, fe'th ganmolir gan dy frodyr; bydd dy law ar war dy elynion, a meibion dy dad yn ymgrymu iti.
8“Judah, your brothers will praise you. Your hand will be on the neck of your enemies. Your father’s sons will bow down before you.
9 Jwda, cenau llew ydwyt, yn codi oddi ar yr ysglyfaeth, fy mab; yn plygu a chrymu fel llew, ac fel llewes; pwy a'i cyfyd?
9Judah is a lion’s cub. From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He stooped down, he crouched as a lion, as a lioness. Who will rouse him up?
10 Ni fydd y deyrnwialen yn ymadael Jwda, na ffon y deddfwr oddi rhwng ei draed, hyd oni ddaw i Seilo; iddo ef y bydd ufudd-dod y bobloedd.
10The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be.
11 Bydd yn rhwymo'i ebol wrth y winwydden, a'r llwdn asyn wrth y winwydden br; bydd yn golchi ei wisg mewn gwin, a'i ddillad yng ngwaed grawnwin.
11Binding his foal to the vine, his donkey’s colt to the choice vine; he has washed his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.
12 Bydd ei lygaid yn dywyllach na gwin, a'i ddannedd yn wynnach na llaeth.
12His eyes will be red with wine, his teeth white with milk.
13 "Bydd Sabulon yn byw ar lan y mr; bydd yn borthladd llongau, a bydd ei derfyn hyd Sidon.

15 pan fydd yn gweld lle da i orffwyso, ac mor hyfryd yw'r tir, fe blyga'i ysgwydd i'r baich, a dod yn gaethwas dan orfod.
15He saw a resting place, that it was good, the land, that it was pleasant. He bows his shoulder to the burden, and becomes a servant doing forced labor.
16 "Bydd Dan yn barnu ei bobl fel un o lwythau Israel.
16“Dan will judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
17 Bydd Dan yn sarff ar y ffordd, ac yn neidr ar y llwybr, yn brathu sodlau'r march nes i'r marchog syrthio yn wysg ei gefn.
17Dan will be a serpent in the way, an adder in the path, That bites the horse’s heels, so that his rider falls backward.
18 "Disgwyliaf am dy iachawdwriaeth, O ARGLWYDD!
18I have waited for your salvation, Yahweh.

22“Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine by a spring. His branches run over the wall.
23 Bu'r saethwyr yn chwerw tuag ato, yn ei saethu yn llawn gelyniaeth;
23The archers have severely grieved him, shot at him, and persecute him:
24 ond parhaodd ei fwa yn gadarn, cryfhawyd ei freichiau trwy ddwylo Un Cadarn Jacob, trwy enw'r Bugail, Craig Israel;
24But his bow remained strong. The arms of his hands were made strong, by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, (from there is the shepherd, the stone of Israel),
25 trwy Dduw dy dad, sydd yn dy nerthu, trwy Dduw Hollalluog, sydd yn dy fendithio bendithion y nefoedd uchod, bendithion y dyfnder sy'n gorwedd isod, bendithion y bronnau a'r groth.
25even by the God of your father, who will help you; by the Almighty, who will bless you, with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies below, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb.
26The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of your ancestors, above the boundaries of the ancient hills. They will be on the head of Joseph, on the crown of the head of him who is separated from his brothers.

29He instructed them, and said to them, “I am to be gathered to my people. Bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
30 yr ogof sydd ym maes Machpela, i'r dwyrain o Mamre, yng ngwlad Canaan. Prynodd Abraham hi gyda'r maes gan Effron yr Hethiad i gael hawl bedd.
30in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite as a burial place.
31 Yno y claddwyd Abraham a'i wraig Sara; yno y claddwyd Isaac a'i wraig Rebeca, ac yno y cleddais i Lea.
31There they buried Abraham and Sarah, his wife. There they buried Isaac and Rebekah, his wife, and there I buried Leah:
32 Cafwyd hawl ar y maes a'r ogof sydd ynddo gan yr Hethiaid."
32the field and the cave that is therein, which was purchased from the children of Heth.”
33 Wedi i Jacob orffen rhoi ei orchymyn i'w feibion, tynnodd ei draed ato i'r gwely, bu farw, a chasglwyd ef at ei bobl.
33When Jacob made an end of charging his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the spirit, and was gathered to his people.
