1 Llefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2 "Dywed wrth Aaron a'i feibion a holl bobl Israel, 'Dyma a orchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD.
2“Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded,
3 Os bydd unrhyw un o du375? Israel a fydd yn lladd bustach, oen neu afr yn y gwersyll, neu'r tu allan iddo,
3Whatever man there is of the house of Israel, who kills a bull, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp,
4 a heb ddod ag ef at ddrws pabell y cyfarfod i'w gyflwyno'n rhodd i'r ARGLWYDD o flaen y tabernacl, y mae hwnnw yn cael ei ystyried yn euog o waed; y mae hwnnw wedi tywallt gwaed, ac y mae i'w dorri ymaith o blith ei bobl.
4and hasn’t brought it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to offer it as an offering to Yahweh before the tabernacle of Yahweh: blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people.
5 Y mae hyn er mwyn i bobl Israel ddod �'r aberthau a offrymant yn awr yn y meysydd agored, a'u cyflwyno i'r ARGLWYDD trwy'r offeiriad wrth ddrws pabell y cyfarfod; y maent i'w haberthu yn heddoffrymau i'r ARGLWYDD.
5This is to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they sacrifice in the open field, that they may bring them to Yahweh, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and sacrifice them for sacrifices of peace offerings to Yahweh.
6 Bydd yr offeiriad yn lluchio'r gwaed ar allor yr ARGLWYDD wrth ddrws pabell y cyfarfod, ac yn llosgi'r braster yn arogl peraidd i'r ARGLWYDD.
6The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
7 Nid ydynt i offrymu eu haberthau i'r gafr-ddelwau y buont yn puteinio ar eu holau. Y mae hyn yn ddeddf dragwyddol iddynt dros y cenedlaethau.'
7They shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat idols, after which they play the prostitute. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.’
8 "Dywed wrthynt, 'Bydd unrhyw un o du375? Israel, neu o'r estroniaid sy'n byw yn eu mysg, a fydd yn offrymu poethoffrwm neu aberth,
8“You shall say to them, ‘Any man there is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
9 a heb ddod ag ef at ddrws pabell y cyfarfod i'w aberthu i'r ARGLWYDD, y mae hwnnw yn cael ei dorri ymaith o blith ei bobl.
9and doesn’t bring it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to sacrifice it to Yahweh; that man shall be cut off from his people.
10 "'Os bydd unrhyw un o du375? Israel, neu o'r estroniaid sy'n byw yn eu mysg, yn bwyta unrhyw waed, byddaf yn gosod fy wyneb yn erbyn y sawl sy'n bwyta gwaed, ac yn ei dorri ymaith o blith ei bobl.
10“‘Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who eats any kind of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
11 Oherwydd y mae bywyd y corff yn y gwaed, ac fe'i rhoddais ichwi i wneud cymod drosoch eich hunain ar yr allor; y gwaed sy'n gwneud cymod dros fywyd.
11For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life.
12 Dyma pam y dywedais wrth bobl Israel, "Nid yw'r un ohonoch chwi, nac unrhyw estron sy'n byw yn eich mysg, i fwyta gwaed."
12Therefore I have said to the children of Israel, “No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who lives as a foreigner among you eat blood.”
13 "'Y mae unrhyw un o bobl Israel, neu o'r estroniaid sy'n byw yn eu mysg, sy'n hela anifail neu aderyn y gellir ei fwyta, i dywallt ei waed a'i orchuddio � phridd,
13“‘Whatever man there is of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who takes in hunting any animal or bird that may be eaten; he shall pour out its blood, and cover it with dust.
14 oherwydd y mae bywyd pob corff yn y gwaed. Dyna pam y dywedais wrth bobl Israel, "Nid ydych i fwyta gwaed unrhyw greadur", oherwydd y mae bywyd pob corff yn ei waed; y mae unrhyw un sy'n ei fwyta i'w dorri ymaith.
14For as to the life of all flesh, its blood is with its life: therefore I said to the children of Israel, “You shall not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.”
15 "'Y mae unrhyw un, boed frodor neu estron, sy'n bwyta rhywbeth wedi marw neu ei larpio gan anifail, i olchi ei ddillad, i ymolchi � du373?r, a bod yn aflan hyd yr hwyr; yna bydd yn l�n.
15“‘Every person that eats what dies of itself, or that which is torn by animals, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening: then he shall be clean.
16 Os na fydd yn golchi ei ddillad nac yn ymolchi, bydd yn gyfrifol am ei drosedd.'"
16But if he doesn’t wash them, or bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.’”
