1 Wedi galw ato ei ddeuddeg disgybl rhoddodd Iesu iddynt awdurdod dros ysbrydion aflan, i'w bwrw allan, ac i iachu pob afiechyd a phob llesgedd.
1He called to himself his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.
2 A dyma enwau'r deuddeg apostol: yn gyntaf Simon, a elwir Pedr, ac Andreas ei frawd, ac Iago fab Sebedeus, ac Ioan ei frawd,
2Now the names of the twelve apostles are these. The first, Simon, who is called Peter; Andrew, his brother; James the son of Zebedee; John, his brother;
3 Philip a Bartholomeus, Thomas a Mathew'r casglwr trethi, Iago fab Alffeus, a Thadeus,
3Philip; Bartholomew; Thomas; Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus; Lebbaeus, whose surname was NU omits “Lebbaeus, whose surname was” Thaddaeus;
4 Simon y Selot, a Jwdas Iscariot, yr un a'i bradychodd ef.
4Simon the Canaanite; and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
5 Y deuddeg hyn a anfonodd Iesu allan wedi rhoi'r gorchmynion yma iddynt: "Peidiwch mynd i gyfeiriad y Cenhedloedd, a pheidiwch mynd i mewn i un o drefi'r Samariaid.
5Jesus sent these twelve out, and commanded them, saying, “Don’t go among the Gentiles, and don’t enter into any city of the Samaritans.
6 Ewch yn hytrach at ddefaid colledig tu375? Israel.
6 Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 Ac wrth fynd cyhoeddwch y genadwri: 'Y mae teyrnas nefoedd wedi dod yn agos.'
7 As you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!’
8 Iachewch y cleifion, cyfodwch y meirw, glanhewch y gwahanglwyfus, bwriwch allan gythreuliaid; derbyniasoch heb dl, rhowch heb dl.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers TR adds “, raise the dead” , and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.
9 Peidiwch chymryd aur nac arian na phres yn eich gwregys,
9 Don’t take any gold, nor silver, nor brass in your money belts.
10 na chod i'r daith nac ail grys na sandalau na ffon. Y mae'r gweithiwr yn haeddu ei fwyd.
10 Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor shoes, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.
11 I ba dref neu bentref bynnag yr ewch, holwch pwy sy'n deilwng yno, ac arhoswch yno hyd nes y byddwch yn ymadael 'r ardal.
11 Into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy; and stay there until you go on.
12 A phan fyddwch yn mynd i mewn i du375?, cyfarchwch y tu375?.
12 As you enter into the household, greet it.
13 Ac os bydd y tu375? yn deilwng, doed eich tangnefedd arno. Ond os na fydd y tu375? yn deilwng, dychweled eich tangnefedd atoch.
13 If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it isn’t worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 Ac os bydd rhywun yn gwrthod eich derbyn a gwrthod gwrando ar eich geiriau, ewch allan o'r tu375? hwnnw neu'r dref honno ac ysgydwch y llwch oddi ar eich traed.
14 Whoever doesn’t receive you, nor hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake off the dust from your feet.
15 Yn wir, 'rwy'n dweud wrthych y caiff tir Sodom a Gomorra lai i'w ddioddef yn Nydd y Farn na'r dref honno.
15 Most certainly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.
16 "Dyma fi yn eich anfon allan fel defaid i blith bleiddiaid; felly byddwch yn gall fel seirff ac yn ddiniwed fel colomennod.
16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 Gochelwch rhag pobl; oherwydd fe'ch traddodant chwi i lysoedd, ac fe'ch fflangellant yn eu synagogau.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.
18 Cewch eich dwyn o flaen llywodraethwyr a brenhinoedd o'm hachos i, i ddwyn tystiolaeth iddynt ac i'r Cenhedloedd.
18 Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.
19 Pan draddodant chwi, peidiwch phryderu pa fodd na pha beth i lefaru, oherwydd fe roddir i chwi y pryd hwnnw eiriau i'w llefaru.
19 But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.
20 Nid chwi sydd yn llefaru, ond Ysbryd eich Tad sy'n llefaru ynoch chwi.
20 For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
21 Bradycha brawd ei frawd i farwolaeth, a thad ei blentyn, a chyfyd plant yn erbyn eu rhieni a pheri eu lladd.
21 “Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 A chas fyddwch gan bawb o achos fy enw i; ond y sawl sy'n dyfalbarhau i'r diwedd a gaiff ei achub.
22 You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.
23 Pan erlidiant chwi mewn un dref, ffowch i un arall. Yn wir, 'rwy'n dweud wrthych, ni fyddwch wedi cwblhau trefi Israel cyn dyfod Mab y Dyn.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next, for most certainly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel, until the Son of Man has come.
24 "Nid yw disgybl yn well na'i athro na gwas yn well na'i feistr.
24 “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.
25 Digon i'r disgybl yw bod fel ei athro, a'r gwas fel ei feistr. Os galwasant feistr y tu375? yn Beelsebwl, pa faint mwy ei deulu?
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!
26 "Peidiwch 'u hofni hwy. Oherwydd nid oes dim wedi ei guddio na ddatguddir, na dim yn guddiedig na cheir ei wybod.
26 Therefore don’t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known.
27 Yr hyn a ddywedaf wrthych yn y tywyllwch, dywedwch ef yng ngolau dydd; a'r hyn a sibrydir i'ch clust, cyhoeddwch ef ar bennau'r tai.
27 What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
28 A pheidiwch ag ofni'r rhai sy'n lladd y corff, ond na allant ladd yr enaid; ofnwch yn hytrach yr hwn sy'n gallu dinistrio'r enaid a'r corff yn uffern.
28 Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. or, Hell.
29 Oni werthir dau aderyn y to am geiniog? Eto nid oes un ohonynt yn syrthio i'r ddaear heb eich Tad.
29 “Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin An assarion is a small coin worth one tenth of a drachma or a sixteenth of a denarius. An assarion is approximately the wages of one half hour of agricultural labor. ? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will,
30 Amdanoch chwi, y mae hyd yn oed pob blewyn o wallt eich pen wedi ei rifo.
30 but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Peidiwch ag ofni felly; yr ydych chwi'n werth mwy na llawer o adar y to.
31 Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
32 "Pob un fydd yn fy arddel i gerbron eraill, byddaf finnau hefyd yn eu harddel hwy gerbron fy Nhad, yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd.
32 Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.
33 Ond pwy bynnag fydd yn fy ngwadu i gerbron eraill, byddaf finnau hefyd yn eu gwadu hwy gerbron fy Nhad, yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd.
33 But whoever denies me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.
34 "Peidiwch meddwl mai i ddwyn heddwch i'r ddaear y deuthum; nid i ddwyn heddwch y deuthum ond cleddyf.
34 “Don’t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword.
35 Oherwydd deuthum i rannu 'dyn yn erbyn ei dad, a merch yn erbyn ei mam, a merch-yng-nghyfraith yn erbyn ei mam-yng-nghyfraith;
35 For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 a gelynion rhywun fydd ei deulu ei hun'.
36 A man’s foes will be those of his own household. Micah 7:6
37 Nid yw'r sawl sy'n caru tad neu fam yn fwy na myfi yn deilwng ohonof fi; ac nid yw'r sawl sy'n caru mab neu ferch yn fwy na myfi yn deilwng ohonof fi.
37 He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me.
38 A'r sawl nad yw'n cymryd ei groes ac yn canlyn ar fy l i, nid yw'n deilwng ohonof fi.
38 He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me, isn’t worthy of me.
39 Yr un sy'n ennill ei fywyd a'i cyll, a'r un sy'n colli ei fywyd er fy mwyn i a'i hennill.
39 He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
40 "Y mae'r sawl sy'n eich derbyn chwi yn fy nerbyn i, a'r sawl sy'n fy nerbyn i yn derbyn yr hwn a'm hanfonodd i.
40 He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.
41 Pwy bynnag sy'n derbyn proffwyd am ei fod yn broffwyd, fe gaiff wobr proffwyd, a phwy bynnag sy'n derbyn un cyfiawn am ei fod yn un cyfiawn, fe gaiff wobr un cyfiawn.
41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. He who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward.
42 A phwy bynnag a rydd gymaint chwpanaid o ddu373?r oer i un o'r rhai bychain hyn am ei fod yn ddisgybl, yn wir, 'rwy'n dweud wrthych, ni chyll ei wobr."
42 Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most certainly I tell you he will in no way lose his reward.”
