1 Pan ddaethant yn agos i Jerwsalem a chyrraedd Bethffage a Mynydd yr Olewydd, yna anfonodd Iesu ddau ddisgybl
1When they drew near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethsphage, TR & NU read “Bethphage” instead of “Bethsphage” to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,
2 gan ddweud wrthynt, "Ewch i'r pentref sydd gyferbyn chwi, ac yn syth fe gewch asen wedi ei rhwymo, ac ebol gyda hi. Gollyngwch hwy a dewch hwy ataf.
2saying to them, “Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them, and bring them to me.
3 Ac os dywed rhywun rywbeth wrthych, dywedwch, 'Y mae ar y Meistr eu hangen'; a bydd yn eu rhoi ar unwaith."
3 If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and immediately he will send them.”
4 Digwyddodd hyn fel y cyflawnid y gair a lefarwyd trwy'r proffwyd:
4All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,
5 "Dywedwch wrth ferch Seion, 'Wele dy frenin yn dod atat, yn ostyngedig ac yn marchogaeth ar asyn, ac ar ebol, llwdn anifail gwaith.'"
5“Tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Zechariah 9:9
6 Aeth y disgyblion a gwneud fel y gorchmynnodd Iesu iddynt;
6The disciples went, and did just as Jesus commanded them,
7 daethant 'r asen a'r ebol ato, a rhoesant eu mentyll ar eu cefn, ac eisteddodd Iesu arnynt.
7and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their clothes on them; and he sat on them.
8 Taenodd tyrfa fawr iawn eu mentyll ar y ffordd, ac yr oedd eraill yn torri canghennau o'r coed ac yn eu taenu ar y ffordd.
8A very great multitude spread their clothes on the road. Others cut branches from the trees, and spread them on the road.
9 Ac yr oedd y tyrfaoedd ar y blaen iddo a'r rhai o'r tu l yn gweiddi: "Hosanna i Fab Dafydd! Bendigedig yw'r un sy'n dod yn enw'r Arglwydd. Hosanna yn y goruchaf!"
9The multitudes who went before him, and who followed kept shouting, “Hosanna “Hosanna” means “save us” or “help us, we pray.” to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” Psalm 118:26
10 Pan ddaeth ef i mewn i Jerwsalem cynhyrfwyd y ddinas drwyddi. Yr oedd pobl yn gofyn, "Pwy yw hwn?",
10When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”
11 a'r tyrfaoedd yn ateb, "Y proffwyd Iesu yw hwn, o Nasareth yng Ngalilea."
11The multitudes said, “This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”
12 Aeth Iesu i mewn i'r deml, a bwriodd allan bawb oedd yn prynu a gwerthu yn y deml; taflodd i lawr fyrddau'r cyfnewidwyr arian a chadeiriau'r rhai oedd yn gwerthu colomennod,
12Jesus entered into the temple of God, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.
13 a dywedodd wrthynt, "Y mae'n ysgrifenedig: 'Gelwir fy nhu375? i yn du375? gweddi, ond yr ydych chwi yn ei wneud yn ogof lladron.'"
13He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ Isaiah 56:7 but you have made it a den of robbers!” Jeremiah 7:11
14 A daeth deillion a chloffion ato yn y deml, ac iachaodd hwy.
14The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.
15 Ond pan welodd y prif offeiriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion y rhyfeddodau a wnaeth, a'r plant yn gweiddi yn y deml, "Hosanna i Fab Dafydd!", aethant yn ddig,
15But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children who were crying in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the son of David!” they were indignant,
16 a dywedasant wrtho, "A wyt yn clywed beth y mae'r rhain yn ei ddweud?" Atebodd Iesu, "Ydwyf. Onid ydych erioed wedi darllen: 'O enau babanod a phlant sugno y darperaist fawl i ti dy hun'?"
16and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them, “Yes. Did you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing babies you have perfected praise?’” Psalm 8:2
17 Yna gadawodd Iesu hwy ac aeth allan o'r ddinas i Fethania, a threuliodd y nos yno.
17He left them, and went out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.
18 Yn y bore, wrth iddo ddychwelyd i'r ddinas, daeth chwant bwyd arno.
18Now in the morning, as he returned to the city, he was hungry.
19 A phan welodd ffigysbren ar fin y ffordd aeth ato, ond ni chafodd ddim arno ond dail yn unig. Dywedodd wrtho, "Na fydded ffrwyth arnat ti byth mwy." Ac ar unwaith crinodd y ffigysbren.
19Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, “Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away.
20 Pan welodd y disgyblion hyn, fe ryfeddasant a dweud, "Sut y crinodd y ffigysbren ar unwaith?"
20When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree immediately wither away?”
21 Atebodd Iesu hwy, "Yn wir, 'rwy'n dweud wrthych, os bydd gennych ffydd, heb amau dim, nid yn unig fe wnewch yr hyn a wnaed i'r ffigysbren, ond hyd yn oed os dywedwch wrth y mynydd hwn, 'Coder di a bwrier di i'r mr', hynny a fydd.
21Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.
22 A beth bynnag oll y gofynnwch amdano mewn gweddi, os ydych yn credu, fe'i cewch."
22 All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
23 Daeth Iesu i'r deml, a phan oedd yn dysgu yno daeth y prif offeiriaid a henuriaid y bobl ato a gofyn, "Trwy ba awdurdod yr wyt ti'n gwneud y pethau hyn? Pwy roddodd i ti'r awdurdod hwn?"
23When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, “By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?”
24 Atebodd Iesu hwy, "Fe ofynnaf finnau un peth i chwi, ac os atebwch hwnnw, fe ddywedaf finnau wrthych trwy ba awdurdod yr wyf yn gwneud y pethau hyn.
24Jesus answered them, “I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 Bedydd Ioan, o ble yr oedd? Ai o'r nef ai o'r byd daearol?" Dechreusant ddadlau 'i gilydd a dweud, "Os dywedwn, 'O'r nef', fe ddywed wrthym, 'Pam, ynteu, na chredasoch ef?'
25 The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from men?” They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
26 Ond os dywedwn, 'O'r byd daearol', y mae arnom ofn y dyrfa, oherwydd y mae pawb yn dal fod Ioan yn broffwyd."
26But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all hold John as a prophet.”
27 Atebasant Iesu, "Ni wyddom ni ddim." Ac meddai yntau wrthynt, "Ni ddywedaf finnau chwaith wrthych chwi trwy ba awdurdod yr wyf yn gwneud y pethau hyn.
27They answered Jesus, and said, “We don’t know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.
28 "Ond beth yw eich barn chwi ar hyn? Yr oedd dyn a chanddo ddau fab. Aeth at y cyntaf a dweud, 'Fy mab, dos heddiw a gweithia yn y winllan.'
28 But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’
29 Atebodd yntau, 'Na wnaf'; ond yn ddiweddarach newidiodd ei feddwl a mynd.
29 He answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind, and went.
30 Yna fe aeth y tad at y mab arall a gofyn yr un modd. Atebodd hwnnw, 'Fe af fi, syr'; ond nid aeth.
30 He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I go, sir,’ but he didn’t go.
31 Prun o'r ddau a gyflawnodd ewyllys y tad?" "Y cyntaf," meddent. Dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "Yn wir, 'rwy'n dweud wrthych fod y casglwyr trethi a'r puteiniaid yn mynd i mewn i deyrnas Dduw o'ch blaen chwi.
31 Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into the Kingdom of God before you.
32 Oherwydd daeth Ioan atoch yn dangos ffordd cyfiawnder, ac ni chredasoch ef. Ond fe gredodd y casglwyr trethi a'r puteiniaid ef. A chwithau, ar l ichwi weld hynny, ni newidiasoch eich meddwl a dod i'w gredu.
32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn’t even repent afterward, that you might believe him.
33 "Gwrandewch ar ddameg arall. Yr oedd rhyw berchen tu375? a blannodd winllan; cododd glawdd o'i hamgylch, a chloddio cafn i'r gwinwryf ynddi, ac adeiladu tu373?r. Gosododd hi i denantiaid, ac aeth oddi cartref.
33 “Hear another parable. There was a man who was a master of a household, who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a winepress in it, built a tower, leased it out to farmers, and went into another country.
34 A phan ddaeth amser y cynhaeaf yn agos, anfonodd ei weision at y tenantiaid i dderbyn ei ffrwythau.
34 When the season for the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the farmers, to receive his fruit.
35 Daliodd y tenantiaid ei weision; curasant un, a lladd un arall a llabyddio un arall.
35 The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.
36 Anfonodd drachefn weision eraill, mwy ohonynt na'r rhai cyntaf, a gwnaeth y tenantiaid yr un modd hwy.
36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they treated them the same way.
37 Yn y diwedd anfonodd atynt ei fab, gan ddweud, 'Fe barchant fy mab.'
37 But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’
38 Ond pan welodd y tenantiaid y mab dywedasant wrth ei gilydd, 'Hwn yw'r etifedd; dewch, lladdwn ef, a meddiannwn ei etifeddiaeth.'
38 But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and seize his inheritance.’
39 A chymerasant ef, a'i fwrw allan o'r winllan, a'i ladd.
39 So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.
40 Felly pan ddaw perchen y winllan, beth a wna i'r tenantiaid hynny?"
40 When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”
41 "Fe lwyr ddifetha'r dyhirod," meddent wrtho, "a gosod y winllan i denantiaid eraill, rhai fydd yn rhoi'r ffrwythau iddo yn eu tymhorau."
41They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers, who will give him the fruit in its season.”
42 Dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "Onid ydych erioed wedi darllen yn yr Ysgrythurau: 'Y maen a wrthododd yr adeiladwyr, hwn a ddaeth yn faen y gongl; gan yr Arglwydd y gwnaethpwyd hyn, ac y mae'n rhyfeddol yn ein golwg ni'?
42Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes?’ Psalm 118:22-23
43 Am hynny 'rwy'n dweud wrthych y cymerir teyrnas Dduw oddi wrthych chwi, ac fe'i rhoddir i genedl sy'n dwyn ei ffrwythau hi.
43 “Therefore I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation bringing forth its fruit.
44 A'r sawl sy'n syrthio ar y maen hwn, fe'i dryllir; pwy bynnag y syrth y maen arno, fe'i maluria."
44 He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but on whomever it will fall, it will scatter him as dust.”
45 Pan glywodd y prif offeiriaid a'r Phariseaid ei ddamhegion, gwyddent mai amdanynt hwy yr oedd yn sn.
45When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.
46 Yr oeddent yn ceisio ei ddal, ond yr oedd arnynt ofn y tyrfaoedd, am eu bod hwy yn ei gyfrif ef yn broffwyd.
46When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.
