22 Yn nyddiau Eliasib yr oedd y Lefiaid, sef Joiada, Johanan a Jadua, a'r offeiriaid wedi eu cofrestru fel pennau-teuluoedd hyd at deyrnasiad Dareius y Persiad.
22As for the Levites, in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, there were recorded the heads of fathers’ households; also the priests, in the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 Yr oedd pennau-teuluoedd y Lefiaid wedi eu cofrestru yn llyfr y Cronicl hyd at amser Johanan fab Eliasib.
23The sons of Levi, heads of fathers’ households, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
24 Arweinwyr y Lefiaid oedd: Hasabeia, Serebeia, Jesua fab Cadmiel a'u brodyr, oedd yn cymryd eu tro i foliannu a thalu diolch yn l gorchymyn Dafydd gu373?r Duw, ac i gadw cylch y gwasanaethau.
24The chiefs of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brothers over against them, to praise and give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, watch next to watch.
25 Mataneia, Bacbuceia, Obadeia, Mesulam, Talmon, ac Accub oedd y porthorion i wylio'r ystordai wrth y pyrth.
25Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the watch at the storehouses of the gates.
26 Yr oedd y rhain yn nyddiau Joiacim fab Jesua, fab Josadac, ac yn nyddiau Nehemeia y llywodraethwr ac Esra yr offeiriad a'r ysgrifennydd.
26These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest the scribe.
27 Pan ddaeth yr amser i gysegru mur Jerwsalem aethant i chwilio am y Lefiaid ymhle bynnag yr oeddent yn byw, a dod hwy i Jerwsalem i ddathlu'r cysegru llawenydd, mewn diolchgarwch a chn, gyda symbalau, nablau, a thelynau.
27At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with giving thanks, and with singing, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and with harps.
28 Ymgasglodd y cantorion o'r ardaloedd o amgylch Jerwsalem ac o bentrefi'r Netoffathiaid,
28The sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain around Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites;
29 a hefyd o Beth-gilgal a rhanbarthau Geba ac Asmafeth; oherwydd yr oedd y cantorion wedi codi pentrefi iddynt eu hunain o amgylch Jerwsalem.
29also from Beth Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had built them villages around Jerusalem.
30 Yna purodd yr offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid eu hunain, y bobl, y pyrth a'r mur.
30The priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 A gwneuthum i arweinwyr Jwda esgyn i ben y mur, a threfnais i ddau gr mawr roi diolch. Aeth un i'r dde ar hyd y mur at Borth y Dom,
31Then I brought up the princes of Judah on the wall, and appointed two great companies who gave thanks and went in procession. One went on the right hand on the wall toward the dung gate;
32 ac ar ei l aeth Hosaia a hanner arweinwyr Jwda,
32and after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,
33 ac Asareia, Esra, Mesulam,
33and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 Jwda, Benjamin, Semaia, a Jeremeia;
34Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35 a rhai o'r offeiriaid thrwmpedau, Sechareia fab Jonathan, fab Semaia, fab Mataneia, fab Michaia, fab Saccur, fab Asaff,
35and certain of the priests’ sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;
36 a'i frodyr Semaia, Asarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, Jwda, a Hanani, ag offer cerdd Dafydd gu373?r Duw, ac Esra'r ysgrifennydd o'u blaen.
36and his brothers, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and Ezra the scribe was before them.
37 Aethant heibio i Borth y Ffynnon ac i fyny grisiau Dinas Dafydd, wrth yr esgyniad i'r mur uwchben tu375? Dafydd, ac at Borth y Du373?r sydd yn y dwyrain.
37By the spring gate, and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even to the water gate eastward.
38 Aeth y cr arall oedd yn rhoi diolch i'r chwith ac euthum innau gyda hanner y bobl ar ei l, ar hyd y mur o Du373?r y Ffyrnau at y Mur Llydan,
38The other company of those who gave thanks went to meet them, and I after them, with the half of the people, on the wall, above the tower of the furnaces, even to the broad wall,
39 dros Borth Effraim a'r Hen Borth a Phorth y Pysgod, a heibio i Du373?r Hananel a Thu373?r y Cant at Borth y Defaid, a sefyll ym Mhorth y Wyliadwriaeth.
39and above the gate of Ephraim, and by the old gate, and by the fish gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even to the sheep gate: and they stood still in the gate of the guard.
40 Aeth y ddau gr oedd yn rhoi diolch i mewn i du375? Dduw, ac yna euthum innau, a hanner yr arweinwyr gyda mi,
40So stood the two companies of those who gave thanks in God’s house, and I, and the half of the rulers with me;
41 a'r offeiriaid, Eliacim, Maaseia, Miniamin, Michaia, Elioenai, Sechareia, Hananeia, gyda'r trwmpedau;
41and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 a Maaseia, Semaia, Eleasar, Ussi, Jehohanan, Malcheia, Elam ac Esra. Ac fe ganodd y cantorion o dan arweiniad Jasraheia.
42and Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. The singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
43 A'r diwrnod hwnnw gwnaethant aberthau mawr a llawenychu, oherwydd yr oedd Duw wedi eu llenwi gorfoledd; ac yr oedd y merched a'r plant hefyd yn gorfoleddu. Ac yr oedd llawenydd Jerwsalem i'w glywed o bell.
43They offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced; for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and the women also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
44 Y diwrnod hwnnw fe benodwyd dynion dros yr ystordai lle'r oedd y trysorau, y cyfraniadau, y blaenffrwyth a'r degymau, er mwyn casglu'r cyfrannau oedd yn ddyledus i'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid o'r meysydd o gwmpas y trefi; oherwydd yr oedd Jwda yn falch o wasanaeth yr offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid.
44On that day were men appointed over the rooms for the treasures, for the wave offerings, for the first fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, according to the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites who waited.
45 Yr oeddent yn gofalu am wasanaeth eu Duw ac yn cadw defodau puredigaeth, fel yr oedd y cantorion a'r porthorion yn ei wneud, yn l gorchymyn Dafydd a Solomon ei fab.
45They performed the duty of their God, and the duty of the purification, and so did the singers and the porters, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.
46 Oherwydd yn yr amser gynt, yn nyddiau Dafydd ac Asaff, yr oedd pen-cantorion a chanu mawl a diolch i Dduw.
46For in the days of David and Asaph of old there was a chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.
47 Felly yn nyddiau Sorobabel ac yn nyddiau Nehemeia yr oedd holl Israel yn rhoi cyfran ddyddiol i'r cantorion a'r porthorion. Yr oeddent yn neilltuo cyfran i'r Lefiaid, a'r Lefiaid yn neilltuo cyfran i dylwyth Aaron.
47All Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, as every day required: and they set apart that which was for the Levites; and the Levites set apart that which was for the sons of Aaron.
