¹ Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses ac Aaron,

¹Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

² "Dyma'r ddeddf a'r gyfraith a orchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD: 'Dywed wrth bobl Israel am ddod � buwch atat, un goch heb unrhyw ddiffyg na nam arni, ac na fu erioed dan iau.

²“This is the statute of the law which Yahweh has commanded: Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no blemish, and which was never yoked.

³ Rhowch hi i Eleasar yr offeiriad, a deuer � hi y tu allan i'r gwersyll a'i lladd ger ei fron.

³You shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and he shall bring her forth outside of the camp, and one shall kill her before his face:

⁴ Yna fe gymer Eleasar yr offeiriad beth o'r gwaed a'i daenellu �'i fys saith gwaith ar du blaen pabell y cyfarfod.

⁴and Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle her blood toward the front of the Tent of Meeting seven times.

⁵ Llosger y fuwch yn ei u373?ydd, ynghyd �'i chroen, ei chig, ei gwaed a'i gweddillion.

⁵One shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:

⁶ Yna bydd yr offeiriad yn cymryd coed cedrwydd, isop ac edau ysgarlad, ac yn eu taflu i ganol y t�n sy'n llosgi'r fuwch.

⁶and the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

⁷ Wedyn bydd yn golchi ei ddillad a'i gorff � du373?r, ac yn dod i mewn i'r gwersyll, ond ni fydd yn l�n tan yr hwyr.

⁷Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.

⁸ Y mae'r dyn a losgodd y fuwch hefyd i olchi ei ddillad a'i gorff � du373?r, ac ni fydd yntau ychwaith yn l�n tan yr hwyr.

⁸He who burns her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.

⁹ Yna bydd dyn sy'n l�n yn casglu lludw'r fuwch ac yn ei roi mewn lle gl�n y tu allan i'r gwersyll, ac fe'i cedwir i gynulliad pobl Israel ei ddefnyddio ar gyfer du373?r puredigaeth; bydd y fuwch, felly, yn aberth dros bechod.

⁹“A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside of the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water for impurity: it is a sin offering.

¹⁰ Y mae'r dyn sy'n casglu lludw'r fuwch hefyd i olchi ei ddillad, ac ni fydd yn l�n tan yr hwyr. Bydd hyn yn ddeddf i'w chadw am byth gan bobl Israel a'r dieithriaid sy'n byw yn eu plith.

¹⁰He who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening: and it shall be to the children of Israel, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them, for a statute forever.

¹¹ "'Bydd y sawl sy'n cyffwrdd � chorff marw unrhyw un yn aflan am saith diwrnod;

¹¹“He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days:

¹² y mae i'w olchi ei hun � du373?r ar y trydydd a'r seithfed dydd, a bydd yn l�n, ond os na fydd yn ei olchi ei hun ar y trydydd a'r seithfed dydd, ni fydd yn l�n.

¹²the same shall purify himself with water on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he doesn’t purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

¹³ Bydd pwy bynnag sy'n cyffwrdd � chorff marw unrhyw un, a heb ei olchi ei hun, yn halogi tabernacl yr ARGLWYDD, a bydd yn cael ei ddiarddel o Israel; bydd yn aflan, ac yn parhau'n aflan, am nad yw wedi ei drochi mewn du373?r puredigaeth.

¹³Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn’t purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of Yahweh; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet on him.

¹⁴ "'Dyma'r ddeddf pan fydd rhywun yn marw mewn pabell: bydd unrhyw un a ddaw i mewn i'r babell, ac unrhyw un a oedd ynddi'n barod, yn aflan am saith diwrnod.

¹⁴“This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁵ Bydd pob llestr agored, heb gaead wedi ei gau arno, yn aflan.

¹⁵Every open vessel, which has no covering bound on it, is unclean.

¹⁶ Bydd pwy bynnag sydd allan yn y maes ac yn cyffwrdd ag un a fu farw trwy'r cleddyf, neu � chorff marw unrhyw un, neu asgwrn ohono, neu ei fedd, yn aflan am saith diwrnod.

¹⁶“Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁷ Ar gyfer y rhai aflan fe gymerir peth o ludw'r aberth dros bechod, a thywallt du373?r gl�n drosto mewn llestr;

¹⁷“For the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

¹⁸ yna bydd rhywun sy'n l�n yn cymryd isop, yn ei drochi mewn du373?r, ac yn ei daenellu ar y babell a'i holl ddodrefn, ac ar bawb oedd yno, ac ar y sawl a gyffyrddodd ag asgwrn neu fedd un a gafodd ei ladd neu a fu farw;

¹⁸and a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, and on all the vessels, and on the persons who were there, and on him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave:

¹⁹ bydd y sawl sy'n l�n yn ei daenellu dros yr aflan ar y trydydd a'r seithfed dydd, ac erbyn y seithfed dydd bydd wedi ei lanhau; yna bydd yn golchi ei ddillad ei hun a'i gorff � du373?r, ac erbyn yr hwyr bydd yntau'n l�n.

¹⁹and the clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify him; and he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.

²⁰ "'Os yw rhywun yn aflan ac yn gwrthod ei olchi ei hun, fe'i torrir ymaith o blith y cynulliad am iddo halogi cysegr yr ARGLWYDD; bydd yn aflan am na throchwyd ef mewn du373?r puredigaeth.

²⁰But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh: the water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him; he is unclean.

²¹ Bydd hyn yn ddeddf iddynt am byth. Y mae'r sawl sy'n taenellu'r du373?r puredigaeth i olchi ei ddillad; bydd pwy bynnag sy'n cyffwrdd �'r du373?r yn aflan tan yr hwyr.

²¹It shall be a perpetual statute to them: and he who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.

²² Bydd beth bynnag y bydd rhywun aflan yn ei gyffwrdd yn troi'n aflan, ac os bydd rhywun yn cyffwrdd �'r peth aflan hwnnw, bydd yntau'n aflan tan yr hwyr.'"

²²“Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until evening.”
