1 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2 "Dywed wrth Aaron, 'Pan fyddwch yn gosod y lampau yn eu lle, bydd y saith ohonynt yn goleuo o'r tu blaen i'r canhwyllbren.'"
2“Speak to Aaron, and tell him, ‘When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.’”
3 Gwnaeth Aaron hyn, a gosododd y lampau i oleuo o'r tu blaen i'r canhwyllbren, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn i Moses.
3Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lampstand, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
4 Yr oedd y canhwyllbren wedi ei wneud o aur gyr, o'i draed at ei flodau. Gwnaeth y canhwyllbren yn �l y patrwm a ddangosodd yr ARGLWYDD i Moses.
4This was the workmanship of the lampstand, beaten work of gold. From its base to its flowers, it was beaten work: according to the pattern which Yahweh had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand.
5 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
5Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
6 "Cymer y Lefiaid o blith pobl Israel, a glanha hwy.
6“Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
7 Dyma a wnei iddynt i'w glanhau: tywallt arnynt ddu373?r puredigaeth, a gwna iddynt eillio pob rhan o'u corff, a golchi eu dillad a bod yn l�n.
7You shall do this to them, to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of cleansing on them, let them shave their whole bodies with a razor, and let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves.
8 Yna gwna iddynt gymryd bustach ifanc gyda bwydoffrwm o beilliaid wedi ei gymysgu ag olew, a chymer dithau fustach ifanc arall yn aberth dros bechod.
8Then let them take a young bull, and its meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil; and another young bull you shall take for a sin offering.
9 Tyrd �'r Lefiaid o flaen pabell y cyfarfod, a chasgla ynghyd holl gynulliad pobl Israel.
9You shall present the Levites before the Tent of Meeting. You shall assemble the whole congregation of the children of Israel.
10 Wrth iti ddod �'r Lefiaid gerbron yr ARGLWYDD, bydd pobl Israel yn gosod eu dwylo arnynt,
10You shall present the Levites before Yahweh. The children of Israel shall lay their hands on the Levites,
11 a bydd Aaron yn cyflwyno'r Lefiaid gerbron yr ARGLWYDD yn offrwm cyhwfan oddi wrth bobl Israel, er mwyn iddynt wasanaethu'r ARGLWYDD.
11and Aaron shall offer the Levites before Yahweh for a wave offering, on the behalf of the children of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of Yahweh.
12 Yna bydd y Lefiaid yn gosod eu dwylo ar ben y bustych, a byddi dithau'n offrymu un bustach yn aberth dros bechod, a'r llall yn boethoffrwm i'r ARGLWYDD, i wneud cymod dros y Lefiaid.
12“The Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering to Yahweh, to make atonement for the Levites.
13 Gwna i'r Lefiaid wasanaethu Aaron a'i feibion, a chyflwyna hwy yn offrwm cyhwfan i'r ARGLWYDD.
13You shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them as a wave offering to Yahweh.
14 Fel hyn y byddi'n neilltuo'r Lefiaid o blith pobl Israel i fod yn eiddo i mi.
14Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine.
15 "Wedyn, bydd y Lefiaid yn mynd i wasanaethu ym mhabell y cyfarfod, a byddi dithau'n eu glanhau a'u cyflwyno'n offrwm cyhwfan.
15“After that, the Levites shall go in to do the service of the Tent of Meeting: and you shall cleanse them, and offer them as a wave offering.
16 Cyflwynwyd hwy imi'n rhodd arbennig o blith pobl Israel, ac fe'u cymerais i mi fy hun yn gyfnewid am y cyntaf i ddod allan o'r groth, y rhai cyntafanedig o'r holl Israeliaid.
16For they are wholly given to me from among the children of Israel; instead of all who open the womb, even the firstborn of all the children of Israel, I have taken them to me.
17 Y mae pob cyntafanedig o blith yr Israeliaid, yn ddyn ac anifail, yn eiddo i mi; cysegrais hwy i mi fy hun ar y dydd y trewais bob cyntafanedig yng ngwlad yr Aifft,
17For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are mine, both man and animal. On the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified them for myself.
18 a chymerais y Lefiaid yn gyfnewid am bob cyntafanedig o blith pobl Israel.
18I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
19 Rhoddais y Lefiaid yn rhodd i Aaron a'i feibion o blith pobl Israel, i wasanaethu'r Israeliaid ym mhabell y cyfarfod, ac i wneud cymod drostynt, rhag i bla ddod ar bobl Israel wrth iddynt ddod yn agos at y cysegr."
19I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel; that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come near to the sanctuary.”
20 Gwnaeth Moses, Aaron, a holl gynulliad pobl Israel y cyfan a orchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD i Moses ynglu375?n �'r Lefiaid.
20Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel did so to the Levites. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them.
21 Purodd y Lefiaid eu hunain o'u pechod, a golchi eu dillad, a chyflwynodd Aaron hwy yn offrwm cyhwfan gerbron yr ARGLWYDD, a gwnaeth gymod drostynt i'w glanhau.
21The Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them for a wave offering before Yahweh; and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.
22 Wedyn, aeth y Lefiaid i wasanaethu ym mhabell y cyfarfod, a gweini ar Aaron a'i feibion. Gwnaethpwyd i'r Lefiaid fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn i Moses.
22After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron, and before his sons: as Yahweh had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
23 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
23Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
24 "Dyma'r drefn ynglu375?n �'r Lefiaid: bydd y rhai sy'n bum mlwydd ar hugain a throsodd yn mynd i mewn i wneud y gwaith ym mhabell y cyfarfod;
24“This is that which belongs to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting;
25 ond yn hanner cant oed byddant yn gorffen gweithio ac yn peidio �'u gwasanaeth.
25and from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting on the work, and shall serve no more,
26 C�nt gynorthwyo'u brodyr i ofalu am babell y cyfarfod, ond y mae cyfnod eu gwasanaeth ar ben. Dyma a wnei ynglu375?n � gorchwylion y Lefiaid."
26but shall minister with their brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to perform the duty, and shall do no service. You shall do thus to the Levites concerning their duties.”
