Numbers

9

1 Yn y mis cyntaf o'r ail flwyddyn wedi iddynt ddod allan o wlad yr Aifft, llefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses yn anialwch Sinai, a dweud,
1Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2 "Bydded i bobl Israel gadw'r Pasg ar yr adeg benodedig.
2“Moreover let the children of Israel keep the Passover in its appointed season.
3 Cadwch ef yn y cyfnos ar y pedwerydd dydd ar ddeg o'r mis hwn; cadwch y Pasg ar yr adeg benodedig gyda'r holl ddeddfau a'r defodau sy'n gysylltiedig ag ef."
3On the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you shall keep it in its appointed season—according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances, you shall keep it.”
4 Felly dywedodd Moses wrth bobl Israel am gadw'r Pasg,
4Moses spoke to the children of Israel, that they should keep the Passover.
5 a gwnaethant hynny yn anialwch Sinai yn y cyfnos ar y pedwerydd dydd ar ddeg o'r mis cyntaf. Gwnaeth pobl Israel yn union fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn i Moses.
5They kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.
6 Ond ni allai rhai gadw'r Pasg ar y diwrnod penodedig, am eu bod wedi eu halogi eu hunain trwy gyffwrdd chorff marw; felly daethant at Moses ac Aaron y dydd hwnnw,
6There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.
7 a dweud, "Yr ydym wedi ein halogi ein hunain trwy gyffwrdd chorff marw; pam y gwaherddir ni rhag ymuno phobl Israel i offrymu i'r ARGLWYDD ar yr adeg benodedig?"
7Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”
8 Atebodd Moses hwy, "Arhoswch nes imi glywed beth y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn ei orchymyn amdanoch."
8Moses answered them, “Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.”
9 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
9Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
10 "Dywed wrth bobl Israel, 'Os bydd unrhyw un ohonoch chwi neu o'ch disgynyddion yn ei halogi ei hun trwy gyffwrdd chorff marw, neu os bydd ar daith bell, y mae er hynny i gadw'r Pasg i'r ARGLWYDD.
10“Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh.
11 Cadwant ef yn y cyfnos ar y pedwerydd dydd ar ddeg o'r ail fis, ac y maent i fwyta'r Pasg gyda bara croyw a llysiau chwerw.
11In the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
12 Nid ydynt i adael dim ohono'n weddill hyd y bore, na thorri asgwrn ohono; y maent i gadw'r holl ddeddf ynglu375?n 'r Pasg.
12They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it.
13 Ond os bydd rhywun yn ln, a heb fod ar daith, ac eto'n gwrthod cadw'r Pasg, bydd yn cael ei dorri ymaith o blith ei bobl, am nad offrymodd i'r ARGLWYDD ar yr adeg benodedig, a bydd yn dioddef am ei bechod.
13But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
14 Os bydd dieithryn yn aros yn eich plith, ac yn dymuno cadw Pasg i'r ARGLWYDD, caiff wneud hynny yn l y ddeddf a'r ddefod sy'n gysylltiedig ag ef; yr un ddeddf fydd i'r dieithryn ac i'r brodor.'"
14“‘If a foreigner lives among you, and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh; according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance, so shall he do. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner, and for him who is born in the land.’”
15 Ar y dydd y codwyd y tabernacl daeth cwmwl a gorchuddio tabernacl pabell y cyfarfod; ymddangosai fel tn drosto, o'r hwyr hyd y bore.
15On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony: and at evening it was over the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until morning.
16 Ac felly y parhaodd; yr oedd cwmwl yn ei orchuddio, ac yn y nos ymddangosai fel tn drosto.
16So it was continually. The cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night.
17 Pan godai'r cwmwl oddi ar y babell, byddai pobl Israel yn cychwyn ar eu taith, a lle bynnag yr arhosai'r cwmwl, byddent yn gwersyllu.
17Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Israel encamped.
18 Ar orchymyn yr ARGLWYDD byddai pobl Israel yn cychwyn ar eu taith, ac ar ei orchymyn ef byddent yn gwersyllu; pryd bynnag y byddai'r cwmwl yn aros dros y tabernacl, byddent yn aros yn y gwersyll.
18At the commandment of Yahweh, the children of Israel traveled, and at the commandment of Yahweh they encamped. As long as the cloud remained on the tabernacle they remained encamped.
19 Hyd yn oed pan fyddai'r cwmwl yn aros dros y tabernacl am lawer o ddyddiau, byddai pobl Israel yn cadw dymuniad yr ARGLWYDD, ac ni fyddent yn cychwyn ar eu taith.
19When the cloud stayed on the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept Yahweh’s command, and didn’t travel.
20 Weithiau byddai'r cwmwl yn aros dros y tabernacl am ychydig ddyddiau, a byddent hwythau'n aros yn y gwersyll yn l gorchymyn yr ARGLWYDD, ac ar ei orchymyn ef byddent yn cychwyn ar eu taith.
20Sometimes the cloud was a few days on the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Yahweh they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Yahweh they traveled.
21 Dro arall, byddai'r cwmwl yno o'r hwyr hyd y bore yn unig, ac yna pan godai, byddent yn cychwyn allan, ac os byddai yno trwy'r dydd a'r nos, ac yna'n codi, byddent yn cychwyn allan.
21Sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they traveled: or by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they traveled.
22 Os byddai'r cwmwl yn aros dros y tabernacl am ddeuddydd, neu fis neu flwyddyn, byddai pobl Israel yn aros yn eu pebyll heb gychwyn ar eu taith; ond pan godai'r cwmwl, byddent yn cychwyn.
22Whether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the cloud stayed on the tabernacle, remaining on it, the children of Israel remained encamped, and didn’t travel; but when it was taken up, they traveled.
23 Ar orchymyn yr ARGLWYDD byddent yn gwersyllu, ac ar ei orchymyn ef byddent yn cychwyn ar eu taith; yr oeddent yn cadw dymuniad yr ARGLWYDD, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn i Moses.
23At the commandment of Yahweh they encamped, and at the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. They kept Yahweh’s command, at the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
