¹ Llawenhewch yn yr ARGLWYDD, chwi rai cyfiawn; i'r rhai uniawn gweddus yw moliant.

¹Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.

² Molwch yr ARGLWYDD �'r delyn, canwch salmau iddo �'r offeryn dectant;

²Give thanks to Yahweh with the lyre. Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings.

³ canwch iddo g�n newydd, tynnwch y tannau'n dda, rhowch floedd.

³Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!

⁴ Oherwydd gwir yw gair yr ARGLWYDD, ac y mae ffyddlondeb yn ei holl weithredoedd.

⁴For the word of Yahweh is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.

⁵ Y mae'n caru cyfiawnder a barn; y mae'r ddaear yn llawn o ffyddlondeb yr ARGLWYDD.

⁵He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh.

⁶ Trwy air yr ARGLWYDD y gwnaed y nefoedd, a'i holl lu trwy anadl ei enau.

⁶By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made; all their army by the breath of his mouth.

⁷ Casglodd y m�r fel du373?r mewn potel, a rhoi'r dyfnderoedd mewn ystordai.

⁷He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.

⁸ Bydded i'r holl ddaear ofni'r ARGLWYDD, ac i holl drigolion y byd arswydo rhagddo.

⁸Let all the earth fear Yahweh. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

⁹ Oherwydd llefarodd ef, ac felly y bu; gorchmynnodd ef, a dyna a safodd.

⁹For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.

¹⁰ Gwna'r ARGLWYDD gyngor y cenhedloedd yn ddim, a difetha gynlluniau pobloedd.

¹⁰Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.

¹¹ Ond saif cyngor yr ARGLWYDD am byth, a'i gynlluniau dros yr holl genedlaethau.

¹¹The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

¹² Gwyn ei byd y genedl y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn Dduw iddi, y bobl a ddewisodd yn eiddo iddo'i hun.

¹²Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.

¹³ Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn edrych i lawr o'r nefoedd, ac yn gweld pawb oll;

¹³Yahweh looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.

¹⁴ o'r lle y triga y mae'n gwylio holl drigolion y ddaear.

¹⁵ Ef sy'n llunio meddwl pob un ohonynt, y mae'n deall popeth a wn�nt.

¹⁵he who fashions all of their hearts; and he considers all of their works.

¹⁶ Nid gan fyddin gref y gwaredir brenin, ac nid � nerth mawr yr achubir rhyfelwr.

¹⁶There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.

¹⁷ Ofer ymddiried mewn march am waredigaeth; er ei holl gryfder ni all roi ymwared.

¹⁷A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power.

¹⁸ Y mae llygaid yr ARGLWYDD ar y rhai a'i hofna, ar y rhai sy'n disgwyl wrth ei ffyddlondeb,

¹⁸Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness;

¹⁹ i'w gwaredu rhag marwolaeth a'u cadw'n fyw yng nghanol newyn.

¹⁹to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.

²⁰ Yr ydym yn disgwyl am yr ARGLWYDD; ef yw ein cymorth a'n tarian.

²⁰Our soul has waited for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield.

²¹ Y mae ein calon yn llawenychu ynddo am inni ymddiried yn ei enw sanctaidd.

²¹For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

²² O ARGLWYDD, dangos dy ffyddlondeb tuag atom, fel yr ydym wedi gobeithio ynot.

²²Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you.
