69

1 1 I'r Cyfarwyddwr: ar Lilau. I Ddafydd.0 Gwareda fi, O Dduw, oherwydd cododd y dyfroedd at fy ngwddf.
1Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck!
2 Yr wyf yn suddo mewn llaid dwfn, a heb le i sefyll arno; yr wyf wedi mynd i ddyfroedd dyfnion, ac y mae'r llifogydd yn fy sgubo ymaith.
2I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3 Yr wyf wedi diffygio'n gweiddi, a'm gwddw'n sych; y mae fy llygaid yn pylu wrth ddisgwyl am fy Nuw.
3I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail, looking for my God.
4 Mwy niferus na gwallt fy mhen yw'r rhai sy'n fy nghasu heb achos; lluosocach na'm hesgyrn yw fy ngelynion twyllodrus. Sut y dychwelaf yr hyn nas cymerais?
4Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn’t take away.
5 O Dduw, gwyddost ti fy ffolineb, ac nid yw fy nhroseddau'n guddiedig oddi wrthyt.
5God, you know my foolishness. My sins aren’t hidden from you.
6 Na fydded i'r rhai sy'n gobeithio ynot gael eu cywilyddio o'm plegid, O Arglwydd DDUW y Lluoedd, nac i'r rhai sy'n dy geisio gael eu gwaradwyddo o'm hachos, O Dduw Israel.
6Don’t let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord Yahweh of Armies. Don’t let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.
7 Oherwydd er dy fwyn di y dygais warth, ac y mae fy wyneb wedi ei orchuddio chywilydd.
7Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.
8 Euthum yn ddieithryn i'm brodyr, ac yn estron i blant fy mam.
8I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother’s children.
9 Y mae sl dy du375? di wedi fy ysu, a daeth gwaradwydd y rhai sy'n dy waradwyddo di arnaf finnau.
9For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
10 Pan wylaf wrth ymprydio, fe'i hystyrir yn waradwydd i mi;
10When I wept and I fasted, that was to my reproach.
11 pan wisgaf sachliain amdanaf, fe'm gwneir yn ddihareb iddynt.
11When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them.
12 Y mae'r rhai sy'n eistedd wrth y porth yn siarad amdanaf, ac yr wyf yn destun i watwar y meddwon.
12Those who sit in the gate talk about me. I am the song of the drunkards.
13 Ond daw fy ngweddi i atat, O ARGLWYDD. Ar yr amser priodol, O Dduw, ateb fi yn dy gariad mawr gyda'th waredigaeth sicr.
13But as for me, my prayer is to you, Yahweh, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
14 Gwared fi o'r llaid rhag imi suddo, achuber fi o'r mwd ac o'r dyfroedd dyfnion.
14Deliver me out of the mire, and don’t let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.
15 Na fydded i'r llifogydd fy sgubo ymaith, na'r dyfnder fy llyncu, na'r pwll gau ei safn amdanaf.
15Don’t let the flood waters overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Don’t let the pit shut its mouth on me.
16 Ateb fi, ARGLWYDD, oherwydd da yw dy gariad; yn dy drugaredd mawr, tro ataf.
16Answer me, Yahweh, for your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.
17 Paid chuddio dy wyneb oddi wrth dy was; y mae'n gyfyng arnaf, brysia i'm hateb.
17Don’t hide your face from your servant, for I am in distress. Answer me speedily!
18 Tyrd yn nes ataf i'm gwaredu; rhyddha fi o achos fy ngelynion.
18Draw near to my soul, and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.
19 Fe wyddost ti fy ngwaradwydd, fy ngwarth a'm cywilydd; yr wyt yn gyfarwydd 'm holl elynion.
19You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you.
20 Y mae gwarth wedi torri fy nghalon, ac yr wyf mewn anobaith; disgwyliais am dosturi, ond heb ei gael, ac am rai i'm cysuro, ond nis cefais.
20Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; for comforters, but I found none.
21 Rhoesant wenwyn yn fy mwyd, a gwneud imi yfed finegr at fy syched.
21They also gave me gall for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Bydded eu bwrdd eu hunain yn rhwyd iddynt, yn fagl i'w cyfeillion.
22Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.
23 Tywyller eu llygaid rhag iddynt weld, a gwna i'w cluniau grynu'n barhaus.
23Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can’t see. Let their backs be continually bent.
24 Tywallt dy ddicter arnynt, a doed dy lid mawr ar eu gwarthaf.
24Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.
25 Bydded eu gwersyll yn anghyfannedd, heb neb yn byw yn eu pebyll,
25Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.
26 oherwydd erlidiant yr un a drewaist ti, a lluosogant friwiau'r rhai a archollaist.
26For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.
27 Rho iddynt gosb ar ben cosb; na chyfiawnhaer hwy gennyt ti.
27Charge them with crime upon crime. Don’t let them come into your righteousness.
28 Dileer hwy o lyfr y rhai byw, ac na restrer hwy gyda'r cyfiawn.
28Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous.
29 Yr wyf fi mewn gofid a phoen; trwy dy waredigaeth, O Dduw, cod fi i fyny.
29But I am in pain and distress. Let your salvation, God, protect me.
30 Moliannaf enw Duw ar gn, mawrygaf ef diolchgarwch.
30I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31 Bydd hyn yn well gan yr ARGLWYDD nag ych, neu fustach ifanc chyrn a charnau.
31It will please Yahweh better than an ox, or a bull that has horns and hoofs.
32 Bydded i'r darostyngedig weld hyn a llawenhau; chwi sy'n ceisio Duw, bydded i'ch calonnau adfywio;
32The humble have seen it, and are glad. You who seek after God, let your heart live.
33 oherwydd y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn gwrando'r anghenus, ac nid yw'n diystyru ei eiddo sy'n gaethion.
33For Yahweh hears the needy, and doesn’t despise his captive people.
34 Bydded i'r nefoedd a'r ddaear ei foliannu, y mr hefyd a phopeth byw sydd ynddo.
34Let heaven and earth praise him; the seas, and everything that moves therein!
35 Oherwydd bydd Duw yn gwaredu Seion, ac yn ailadeiladu dinasoedd Jwda; byddant yn byw yno ac yn ei meddiannu,
35For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah. They shall settle there, and own it.
36 bydd plant ei weision yn ei hetifeddu, a'r rhai sy'n caru ei enw'n byw yno.
36The children also of his servants shall inherit it. Those who love his name shall dwell therein.
