¹Ve Zions sorgløse mænd og de trygge på Samarias bjerg, I ædle blandt førstegrødefolket, hvem Israels Hus søger til;

¹⁴Thi se, jeg rejser et Folk imod eder, Israels Hus, lyder det fra HERREN, Hærskarers Gud; Trængsel bringer det eder fra Egnen ved Hamat til Arababækken.

¹⁴Surely, lo, I am raising against you a nation, O house of Israel, An affirmation of Jehovah, God of Hosts, And they have oppressed you from the coming in to Hamath, Unto the stream of the desert.
