¹ای خداوند، پادشاه از قوّتی که به او داده ای شادمانی می کند و از پیروزی های که به او بخشیده ای بسیار خوشحال است.

¹The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

²آرزو های دل او را به وی بخشیدی و حاجات او را که به زبان آورد رد نکردی.

²Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

³زیرا با برکات نیکو او را ملاقات کردی و تاجی از طلای ناب را بر سرش نهادی.

³For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

⁴زندگی را از تو خواست و آنرا به وی دادی و عمر طولانی را تا به ابد.

⁴He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

⁵با کمک تو به عزت و شکوه رسید. شهرت و مقام را نصیب او کردی.

⁵His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

⁶برکات ابدی را به او ارزانی فرمودی. حضور تو دل او را پُر از خوشی ساخته است.

⁶For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

⁷زیرا پادشاه به خداوند اعتماد دارد و بخاطر رحمت خداوند متعال پایدار می ماند.

⁷For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

⁸دست تو همۀ دشمنانت را خواهد زد و دست راست تو کسانی را که از تو نفرت دارند.

⁸Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

⁹وقتی ظاهر می شوی، در آتش سوزان حضور تو می سوزند و شعلۀ خشم تو ای خداوند آن ها را می بلعد و آتش ایشان را نابود می سازد.

⁹Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

¹⁰اولادۀ شان را از روی زمین محو می سازی و نسل ایشان را از میان بنی آدم.

¹⁰Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

¹¹آن ها قصد بدی در مقابل تو داشته و دسیسه ها می سنجند، ولی نمی توانند انجام دهند.

¹¹For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

¹²زیرا تو آن ها را هدف تیر خود قرار می دهی و آن ها بر می گردند و فرار می کنند.ای خداوند متعال، بخاطر قدرتت تو را ستایش می کنیم و عظمت تو را می سرائیم.

¹²Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.

¹³ای خداوند متعال، بخاطر قدرتت تو را ستایش می کنیم و عظمت تو را می سرائیم.

¹³Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
