1ای موجودات آسمانی، خداوند را ستایش کنید. جلال و قوّت را برای خداوند توصیف نمائید.
1Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2خداوند را به جلال اسم او تمجید نمائید. خداوند را در شایستگی قدوسیت سجده کنید.
2Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3آواز خداوند از ورای آبها شنیده می شود. آواز خدای جلال رعدآسا است. صدای خداوند مافوق آب های بسیار است.
3The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
4آواز خداوند با قوّت است. صدای خداوند با هیبت و با شکوه است.
4The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5آواز خداوند سروهای آزاد را می شکند. خداوند سروهای آزاد لبنان را می شکند.
5The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6خداوند کوه لبنان را مثل گوساله می جهاند و کوه حِرمون را مثل گاو بچۀ وحشی.
6He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
7آواز خداوند رعد و برق را تولید می کند.
7The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.
8آواز خداوند بیابان را به لرزه می آورد و صحرای قادِش را متزلزل می کند.
8The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9آواز خداوند درختان بلوط را تکان می دهد و جنگلها را بی برگ می سازد. در عبادتگاه خداوند همگی جلال او را توصیف می نمایند.
9The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10خداوند بر فراز سیلاب جلوس فرموده و به عنوان پادشاه ابدی سلطنت می کند.خداوند قوم خود را قوّت می بخشد. خداوند قوم برگزیدۀ خود را به صلح و سلامتی برکت می دهد.
10The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
11خداوند قوم خود را قوّت می بخشد. خداوند قوم برگزیدۀ خود را به صلح و سلامتی برکت می دهد.
11The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
