1ای خدا، مرا داوری کن و در دعوای من با قوم بی رحم قضاوت کن. مرا از دست مردم حیله گر و شریر رهایی ده.
1Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
2زیرا تو خدا، پناهگاه من هستی. چرا مرا ترک کرده ای؟ چرا بخاطر ستم دشمن در غم و ماتم باشم؟
2For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3نور و راستی خود را بفرست تا هادی و راهنمای من باشند و مرا به کوه مقدس تو و مسکن های تو برسانند.
3O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
4آنگاه به قربانگاه خدا می آیم، بسوی خدایی که خوشی و شادابی من است. و تو را ای خدا، خدای من با نغمۀ رباب ستایش می کنم.ای جان من چرا افسرده شده ای و چرا در من پریشان گشته ای؟ بر خدا امید داشته باش زیرا که او را دوباره ستایش خواهم کرد، که نجات روی من و خدای من است.
4Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
5ای جان من چرا افسرده شده ای و چرا در من پریشان گشته ای؟ بر خدا امید داشته باش زیرا که او را دوباره ستایش خواهم کرد، که نجات روی من و خدای من است.
5Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
