Ezekiel

4

1And thou, son of man, take thee a brick, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it a city, -- Jerusalem:
1 "Tithau, fab dyn, cymer briddlech a'i gosod o'th flaen, a darlunia arni ddinas Jerwsalem.
2and lay siege against it, and build forts against it, and cast a mound against it, and set camps against it, and place battering-rams against it round about.
2 Gosod warchae arni, adeilada warchglawdd o'i hamgylch, cod esgynfa tuag ati, rho wersylloedd yn ei herbyn a gosod beiriannau hyrddio o'i chwmpas.
3And take thou unto thee an iron plate, and put it [for] a wall of iron between thee and the city; and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it: this shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
3 Yna cymer badell haearn a'i rhoi fel mur o haearn rhyngot ti a'r ddinas, a thro dy wyneb tuag ati; a bydd dan warchae, a thithau'n ymosod arni. Arwydd fydd hyn i du375? Israel.
4And thou, lie upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: the number of the days that thou liest upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity.
4 "Yna gorwedd ar dy ochr chwith, a gosod ddrygioni tu375? Israel arni; byddi'n cario eu drygioni am nifer y dyddiau y byddi'n gorwedd ar dy ochr.
5And I have appointed thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days; and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
5 Yr wyf wedi pennu ar dy gyfer yr un nifer o ddyddiau ag o flynyddoedd eu drygioni, sef tri chant naw deg o ddyddiau, iti gario drygioni tu375? Israel.
6And when thou hast accomplished them, thou shalt lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
6 Wedi iti orffen hyn, gorwedd ar dy ochr dde, a charia ddrygioni tu375? Jwda; yr wyf wedi pennu ar dy gyfer ddeugain o ddyddiau, sef diwrnod am bob blwyddyn.
7And thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
7 Tro dy wyneb tuag at warchae Jerwsalem, ac 'th fraich yn noeth proffwyda yn ei herbyn.
8And behold, I lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thyself from one side to the other, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
8 Rhoddaf rwymau amdanat fel na elli droi o'r naill ochr i'r llall nes iti orffen dyddiau dy warchae.
9And thou, take unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, [according to] the number of the days that thou liest upon thy side: three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
9 "Cymer iti wenith a haidd, ffa a phys, miled a cheirch, a'u rhoi mewn un llestr, a gwna fara ohonynt; byddi'n ei fwyta yn ystod y tri chant naw deg o ddyddiau y byddi'n gorwedd ar dy ochr.
10And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
10 Byddi'n bwyta dy fwyd wrth bwysau, ugain sicl y dydd, ac yn ei fwyta yr un amser bob dydd.
11And thou shalt drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
11 A byddi'n yfed du373?r wrth fesur, chweched ran o hin, ac yn ei yfed yr un amser bob dydd.
12And thou shalt eat it [as] barley-cake, and thou shalt bake it in their sight with dung that cometh out of man.
12 Byddi'n ei fwyta yn deisen haidd wedi ei chrasu yng ngu373?ydd y bobl ar gynnud o garthion dynol."
13And Jehovah said, So shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations whither I will drive them.
13 A dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD, "Fel hyn y bydd plant Israel yn bwyta bara halogedig ymysg y cenhedloedd y gyrraf hwy atynt."
14Then said I, Ah, Lord Jehovah! behold, my soul hath not been defiled, and from my youth up even until now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or of that which is torn; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
14 Atebais, "O Arglwydd DDUW, nid wyf erioed wedi fy halogi fy hun; o'm hieuenctid hyd yn awr nid wyf wedi bwyta dim a fu farw nac a ysglyfaethwyd, ac ni ddaeth cig aflan i'm genau."
15And he said unto me, See, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
15 Yna dywedodd wrthyf, "Edrych, fe ganiatf iti ddefnyddio tail gwartheg yn lle carthion dynol i grasu dy fara."
16And he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I break the staff of bread in Jerusalem; and they shall eat bread by weight, and with anxiety; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
16 Dywedodd hefyd, "Fab dyn, yr wyf yn torri ymaith y gynhaliaeth o fara o Jerwsalem; mewn pryder y byddant yn bwyta bara wrth bwysau, ac mewn braw yn yfed du373?r wrth fesur.
17because bread and water shall fail them, and they shall be astonied one with another, and waste away in their iniquity.
17 Bydd y fath brinder o fara a du373?r fel y byddant yn brawychu o weld ei gilydd; byddant yn darfod oherwydd eu drygioni.
