1Woe unto the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith Jehovah.
1 Gwae chwi fugeiliaid, sydd yn gwasgaru defaid fy mhorfa ac yn eu harwain ar grwydr," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
2Therefore thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel concerning the shepherds that feed my people: Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith Jehovah.
2 Am hynny fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD, Duw Israel, am y bugeiliaid sy'n bugeilio fy mhobl: "Gwasgarasoch fy mhraidd, a'u hymlid ymaith, heb wylio drostynt; ond yr wyf fi am ymweld chwi am eich gwaith drygionus," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
3And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their pastures; and they shall be fruitful and shall multiply.
3 "Yr wyf fi am gasglu ynghyd weddill fy mhraidd o'r holl wledydd lle y gyrrais hwy, a'u dwyn drachefn i'w corlan; ac fe amlhnt yn ffrwythlon.
4And I will raise up shepherds over them, who shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be missing, saith Jehovah.
4 Gosodaf arnynt fugeiliaid a'u bugeilia, ac nid ofnant mwyach, na chael braw; ac ni chosbir hwy," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
5Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, when I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, who shall reign as king, and act wisely, and shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
5 "Wele'r dyddiau yn dod," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "y cyfodaf i Ddafydd Flaguryn cyfiawn, brenin a fydd yn llywodraethu'n ddoeth, yn gwneud barn a chyfiawnder yn y tir.
6In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell in safety; and this is his name whereby he shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.
6 Yn ei ddyddiau ef fe achubir Jwda ac fe drig Israel mewn diogelwch; dyma'r enw a roddir iddo: 'Yr ARGLWYDD ein Cyfiawnder.'
7Therefore behold, days are coming, saith Jehovah, that they shall no more say, [As] Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
7 "Am hynny, wele'r dyddiau'n dod," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "pryd na ddywed neb mwyach, 'Byw fyddo'r ARGLWYDD a ddygodd dylwyth Israel i fyny o wlad yr Aifft',
8but, [As] Jehovah liveth, who brought up and who led back the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them. And they shall dwell in their own land.
8 ond, 'Byw fyddo'r ARGLWYDD a ddygodd dylwyth Israel o dir y gogledd, a'u tywys o'r holl wledydd lle y gyrrais hwy, i drigo eto yn eu gwlad eu hunain.'"
9Concerning the prophets: My heart within me is broken; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome; because of Jehovah, and because of the words of his holiness.
9 Am y proffwydi: Torrodd fy nghalon, y mae fy esgyrn i gyd yn crynu; yr wyf fel dyn mewn diod, gu373?r wedi ei orchfygu gan win, oherwydd yr ARGLWYDD ac oherwydd ei eiriau sanctaidd.
10For the land is full of adulterers; for because of execration the land mourneth. The pastures of the wilderness are dried up; for their course is evil, and their force is not right.
10 Y mae'r tir yn llawn o odinebwyr, ac o'u herwydd hwy y mae'r wlad wedi ei deifio, y mae porfeydd yr anialwch wedi crino; y mae eu hynt yn ddrwg a'u cadernid yn ddim.
11For both prophet and priest are profane: even in my house have I found their wickedness, saith Jehovah.
11 "Aeth proffwyd ac offeiriad yn annuwiol; o fewn fy nhu375? y cefais eu drygioni," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
12Therefore their way shall be unto them as slippery places in the darkness; they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them in the year of their visitation, saith Jehovah.
12 "Am hynny bydd eu ffyrdd fel mannau llithrig; gyrrir hwy i'r tywyllwch, a byddant yn syrthio yno. Canys dygaf ddrygioni arnynt ym mlwyddyn eu cosbi," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
13And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria: they prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
13 "Ymhlith proffwydi Samaria gwelais beth anweddus: y maent yn proffwydo yn enw Baal, ac yn hudo fy mhobl Israel ar gyfeiliorn.
14And in the prophets of Jerusalem have I seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in falsehood, and strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that none doth return from his wickedness. They are all become unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
14 Ymhlith proffwydi Jerwsalem gwelais beth erchyll: godinebu a rhodio mewn anwiredd; y maent yn cynnal breichiau'r rhai drygionus, fel na thry neb oddi wrth ei ddrygioni. I mi aethant oll fel Sodom, a'u trigolion fel Gomorra."
15Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink water of gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.
15 Am hynny fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD, Duw y Lluoedd, am y proffwydi: "Wele, rhof wermod yn fwyd iddynt, a du373?r bustl yn ddiod, canys o blith proffwydi Jerwsalem aeth annuwioldeb allan trwy'r holl dir."
16Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they lead you to vanity; they speak a vision of their own heart, not out of the mouth of Jehovah.
16 Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: "Peidiwch gwrando ar eiriau'r proffwydi sy'n proffwydo i chwi, gan addo i chwi bethau ffals; y maent yn llefaru gweledigaeth o'u dychymyg eu hunain, ac nid o enau yr ARGLWYDD.
17They say constantly unto them that despise me, Jehovah hath said, Ye shall have peace. And they say unto every one that walketh in the stubbornness of his heart, No evil shall come upon you.
17 Parhnt i ddweud wrth y rhai sy'n dirmygu gair yr ARGLWYDD, 'Heddwch fo i chwi'; ac wrth bob un sy'n rhodio yn l ystyfnigrwydd ei galon dywedant, 'Ni ddaw arnoch niwed.'
18For who hath stood in the council of Jehovah, so that he hath perceived and heard his word? who hath hearkened to his word and listened?
18 "Pwy a safodd yng nghyngor yr ARGLWYDD, a gweld a chlywed ei air? Pwy a ddaliodd ar ei air, a'i wrando?
19Behold, a tempest of Jehovah, fury is gone forth, yea, a whirling storm: it shall whirl down upon the head of the wicked.
19 Wele gorwynt yr ARGLWYDD yn mynd allan yn ffyrnig, gan chwyrlo fel tymestl, a throelli uwchben yr annuwiol.
20The anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and until he have performed the purposes of his heart: at the end of the days ye shall understand it clearly.
20 Ni phaid digofaint yr ARGLWYDD nes iddo gwblhau ei fwriadau a'u cyflawni. Yn y dyddiau diwethaf y deallwch hyn yn eglur.
21I did not send the prophets, yet they ran; I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
21 Nid anfonais y proffwydi, ond eto fe redant; ni leferais wrthynt, ond eto fe broffwydant.
22But if they had stood in my council, and had caused my people to hear my words, then would they have turned them from their evil way and from the wickedness of their doings.
22 Pe baent wedi sefyll yn fy nghyngor, byddent wedi peri i'm pobl wrando ar fy ngeiriau, a'u troi o'u ffyrdd drygionus ac o'u gweithredoedd drwg.
23Am I a God at hand, saith Jehovah, and not a God afar off?
23 "Onid Duw agos wyf fi," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "ac nid Duw pell?
24Can any hide himself in secret places, that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? saith Jehovah.
24 A all unrhyw un lechu yn y dirgel fel na welaf mohono?" medd yr ARGLWYDD. "Onid wyf yn llenwi'r nefoedd a'r ddaear?" medd yr ARGLWYDD.
25I have heard what the prophets say, who prophesy falsehood in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
25 "Clywais yr hyn a ddywedodd y proffwydi sy'n proffwydo celwydd yn fy enw gan ddweud, 'Breuddwydiais, breuddwydiais!'
26How long shall [this] be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, and who are prophets of the deceit of their own heart?
26 Pa hyd yr erys ym mwriad y proffwydi broffwydo celwydd proffwydi hudoliaeth eu calon eu hunain?
27who think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour: as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
27 Bwriadant beri i'm pobl anghofio fy enw trwy adrodd eu breuddwydion y naill wrth y llall, fel y bu i'w hynafiaid anghofio fy enw o achos Baal.
28The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell the dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith Jehovah.
28 Y proffwyd sydd breuddwyd ganddo, myneged ei freuddwyd, a'r hwn sydd 'm gair i ganddo, llefared fy ngair yn ffyddlon. Beth sy'n gyffredin rhwng gwellt a gwenith?" medd yr ARGLWYDD.
29Is not my word like a fire, saith Jehovah; and like a hammer [that] breaketh the rock in pieces?
29 "Onid yw fy ngair fel tn," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "ac fel gordd sy'n dryllio'r graig?
30Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith Jehovah, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
30 Am hynny, wele fi yn erbyn y proffwydi sy'n lladrata fy ngeiriau oddi ar ei gilydd," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
31Behold, I am against the prophets, saith Jehovah, that use their tongues, and say, He hath said.
31 "Wele fi yn erbyn y proffwydi sy'n llunio geiriau ac yn eu cyhoeddi fel oracl," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
32Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith Jehovah, and that tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies and by their boasting; and I have not sent them, nor commanded them; and they profit not this people at all, saith Jehovah.
32 "Wele fi yn erbyn y rhai sy'n proffwydo breuddwydion gau, yn eu hadrodd, ac yn hudo fy mhobl 'u hanwiredd a'u gwagedd," medd yr ARGLWYDD. "Nid anfonais i mohonynt, na rhoi gorchymyn iddynt; ni wnnt ddim lles i'r bobl hyn," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
33And when this people, or a prophet, or a priest, ask thee, saying, What is the burden of Jehovah? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even cast you off, saith Jehovah.
33 "Pan ofynnir iti gan y bobl hyn, neu gan broffwyd neu offeiriad, 'Beth yw baich yr ARGLWYDD?' dywedi wrthynt, 'Chwi yw'r baich; ac fe'ch bwriaf ymaith, medd yr ARGLWYDD.'
34And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of Jehovah, I will even punish that man and his house.
34 Os dywed proffwyd neu offeiriad neu'r bobl, 'Baich yr ARGLWYDD', mi gosbaf hwnnw a'i du375?.
35Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother: What hath Jehovah answered? and, What hath Jehovah spoken?
35 Fel hyn y bydd pob un ohonoch yn dweud wrth siarad ymhlith eich gilydd: 'Beth a etyb yr ARGLWYDD?' neu, 'Beth a lefara'r ARGLWYDD?'
36And the burden of Jehovah shall ye mention no more; for every man's own word shall be his burden: for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of Jehovah of hosts, our God.
36 Ond ni fyddwch yn sn eto am 'faich yr ARGLWYDD', oherwydd daeth 'baich' i olygu eich gair chwi eich hunain; yr ydych wedi gwyrdroi geiriau'r Duw byw, ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, ein Duw ni.
37Thus shalt thou say to the prophet: What hath Jehovah answered thee? and, What hath Jehovah spoken?
37 Fel hyn y dywedi wrth y proffwyd hwnnw: 'Pa ateb a roes yr ARGLWYDD iti?', neu, 'Beth a lefarodd wrthyt?'
38But since ye say, The burden of Jehovah, therefore thus saith Jehovah: Because ye say this word, The burden of Jehovah, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of Jehovah;
38 Ac os dywedwch, 'Baich yr ARGLWYDD', yna, fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: Am i chwi ddefnyddio'r gair hwn, 'Baich yr ARGLWYDD', er i mi anfon atoch a dweud, 'Peidiwch defnyddio "Baich yr ARGLWYDD",'
39therefore behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off, far from my face, and the city that I gave to you and to your fathers.
39 fe'ch codaf chwi fel baich a'ch taflu o'm gu373?ydd, chwi a'r ddinas a roddais i chwi ac i'ch hynafiaid.
40And I will bring everlasting reproach upon you, and everlasting shame, that shall not be forgotten.
40 Rhof arnoch warth tragwyddol a gwaradwydd tragwyddol nas anghofir."
