1Thus saith Jehovah: Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,
1 Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: "Dos i waered i du375? brenin Jwda, a llefara yno y gair hwn:
2and say, Hear the word of Jehovah, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people who enter in through these gates.
2 'Clyw air yr ARGLWYDD, frenin Jwda, sy'n eistedd ar orsedd Dafydd, tydi a'th weision a'th bobl sy'n tramwy trwy'r pyrth hyn.
3Thus saith Jehovah: Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor; and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place.
3 Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: Gwnewch farn a chyfiawnder; achubwch yr ysbeiliedig o afael y gormeswr. Peidiwch gwneud cam na niwed i'r dieithr, na'r amddifad na'r weddw, na thywallt gwaed dieuog yn y lle hwn.
4For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in through the gates of this house kings sitting in the place of David upon his throne, riding in chariots and on horses, -- he, and his servants, and his people.
4 Os yn wir y cyflawnwch y gair hwn, daw trwy byrth y tu375? hwn frenhinoedd yn eistedd ar orsedd Dafydd, yn teithio mewn cerbydau ac yn marchogaeth ar feirch, pob un 'i weision a'i bobl.
5But if ye will not hear these words, I have sworn by myself, saith Jehovah, that this house shall become a waste.
5 Ond os na wrandewch ar y geiriau hyn, af ar fy llw, medd yr ARGLWYDD, y bydd y tu375? hwn yn anghyfannedd.
6For thus saith Jehovah concerning the house of the king of Judah: Thou art a Gilead unto me, the summit of Lebanon: verily I will make thee a wilderness, cities not inhabited.
6 Oherwydd fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD wrth du375? brenin Jwda: Rwyt i mi fel Gilead, a chopa Lebanon; ond fe'th wnaf yn ddiffeithwch ac yn ddinas anghyfannedd.
7And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons; and they shall cut down the choice of thy cedars, and cast [them] into the fire.
7 Neilltuaf ddinistrwyr yn dy erbyn, pob un 'i arfau; fe dorrant dy gedrwydd gorau, a'u bwrw i'r tn.
8And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath Jehovah done thus unto this great city?
8 Bydd cenhedloedd lawer yn mynd heibio i'r ddinas hon, a phob un yn dweud wrth ei gilydd, "Pam y gwnaeth yr ARGLWYDD fel hyn 'r ddinas fawr hon?"
9And they shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of Jehovah their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.
9 Ac atebant, "Oherwydd iddynt gefnu ar gyfamod yr ARGLWYDD eu Duw, ac addoli duwiau eraill, a'u gwasanaethu."'"
10Weep not for the dead, neither bemoan him; [but] weep sore for him that goeth away, for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
10 Peidiwch ag wylo dros y marw, na gofidio amdano; wylwch yn wir dros yr un sy'n mynd ymaith, oherwydd ni ddychwel mwyach, na gweld gwlad ei enedigaeth.
11For thus saith Jehovah concerning Shallum the son of Josiah, the king of Judah, who reigned instead of Josiah his father, who went forth out of this place: He shall not return thither any more;
11 Oherwydd fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD am Salum, mab Joseia brenin Jwda, a deyrnasodd yn lle Joseia ei dad: "Aeth allan o'r lle hwn, ac ni ddychwel yma eto;
12for he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more.
12 bydd farw yn y lle y caethgludwyd ef iddo, ac ni wl y wlad hon eto."
13Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his upper chambers by injustice; that taketh his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not his earning;
13 Gwae'r sawl a adeilada'i du375? heb gyfiawnder, a'i lofftydd heb farn, gan fynnu gwasanaeth ei gymydog yn rhad, heb roi iddo ddim am ei waith.
14that saith, I will build me a wide house, and spacious upper chambers; and he cutteth out for himself windows; and it is wainscoted with cedar, and painted with vermilion.
14 Gwae'r sawl a ddywed, "Adeiladaf i mi fy hun du375? eang ac iddo lofftydd helaeth." Gwna iddo ffenestri, a phaneli o gedrwydd, a'i liwio fermiliwn.
15Shalt thou reign, because thou viest with the cedar? Did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice? Then it was well with him.
15 A wyt yn d'ystyried dy hun yn frenin oherwydd i ti gystadlu mewn cedrwydd? Oni fwytaodd dy dad, ac yfed, gan wneud cyfiawnder a barn, ac yna bu'n dda arno?
16He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Was not this to know me? saith Jehovah.
16 Barnodd ef achos y tlawd a'r anghenus, ac yna bu'n dda arno. "Onid hyn yw f'adnabod i?" medd yr ARGLWYDD.
17But thine eyes and thy heart are only on thine extortion, and on the blood of the innocent, to shed it, and on oppression and on violence, to do it.
17 Nid yw dy lygad na'th galon ond ar dy enillion anghyfiawn, i dywallt gwaed dieuog ac i dreisio a gwneud cam.
18Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah: They shall not lament for him, Ah, my brother! or, Ah, sister! They shall not lament for him, Ah, lord! or Ah, his glory!
18 Am hynny, fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD am Jehoiacim fab Joseia, brenin Jwda: "Ni alarant amdano, a dweud, 'O fy mrawd! O fy nghr!' Ni alarant amdano, a dweud, 'O Arglwydd! O Fawrhydi!'
19He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, dragged along and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.
19 Fel claddu asyn y cleddir ef ei lusgo a'i daflu y tu hwnt i byrth Jerwsalem."
20Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and give forth thy voice in Bashan, and cry from [the heights of] Abarim: for all thy lovers are destroyed.
20 Dring i Lebanon, a gwaedda; yn Basan cod dy lef; bloeddia o Abarim, "Dinistriwyd pawb sy'n dy garu."
21I spoke unto thee in thy prosperity; [but] thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy way from thy youth, that thou hearkenedst not unto my voice.
21 Lleferais wrthyt yn dy wynfyd; dywedaist, "Ni wrandawaf." Dyma dy ffordd o'th ieuenctid, ac ni wrandewaist arnaf.
22The wind shall feed on all thy shepherds, and thy lovers shall go into captivity; surely, then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.
22 Bugeilia'r gwynt dy holl fugeiliaid, ac i gaethiwed yr dy geraint; yna fe'th gywilyddir a'th waradwyddo am dy holl ddrygioni.
23Thou inhabitress of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how pitiful shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, pain as of a woman in travail!
23 Ti, sy'n trigo yn Lebanon, ac a fagwyd rhwng y cedrwydd, O fel y llefi pan ddaw arnat wewyr, pangfeydd fel gwraig yn esgor!
24[As] I live, saith Jehovah, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, were a signet upon my right hand, yet will I pluck thee thence;
24 "Cyn wired 'm bod yn fyw," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "pe byddai Coneia, mab Jehoiacim brenin Jwda, yn fodrwy ar fy llaw dde, fe'th dynnwn di oddi yno,
25and I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them before whom thou art afraid, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
25 a'th roi yng ngafael y rhai sy'n ceisio dy einioes, ac yng ngafael y rhai yr wyt yn ofni rhagddynt, sef yng ngafael Nebuchadnesar brenin Babilon, ac yn llaw y Caldeaid.
26And I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were not born; and there shall ye die.
26 Fe'th fwriaf di, a'th fam a'th esgorodd, i wlad ddieithr lle ni'ch ganwyd, ac yno byddwch farw.
27And into the land whereunto they lift up their souls to return, thither shall they not return.
27 Ni ddychwelant i'r wlad yr hiraethant am ddychwelyd iddi."
28Is this man Coniah a despised broken vase? a vessel wherein is no delight? Wherefore are they thrown out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
28 Ai llestr dirmygus, drylliedig yw'r dyn hwn, Coneia, teclyn heb ddim hoffus ynddo? Pam y bwriwyd hwy ymaith, ef a'i had, a'u taflu i wlad nad adwaenant?
29O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of Jehovah!
29 Wlad! Wlad! Wlad! Clyw air yr ARGLWYDD.
30Thus saith Jehovah: Write this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days; for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.
30 Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: "Cofrestrwch y gu373?r hwn yn ddi-blant, gu373?r na lwydda ar hyd ei oes; canys ni lwydda neb o'i had ef i eistedd ar orsedd Dafydd, na llywodraethu eto yn Jwda."
