1Collect yourselves and gather together, O nation without shame,
1 Ymgasglwch a dewch ynghyd, genedl ddigywilydd,
2before the decree bring forth, [before] the day pass away as chaff, before the fierce anger of Jehovah come upon you, before the day of Jehovah's anger come upon you.
2 cyn i chwi gael eich gyrru ymaith, a diflannu fel us, cyn i gynddaredd llid yr ARGLWYDD ddod arnoch, cyn i ddydd dicter yr ARGLWYDD ddod arnoch.
3Seek Jehovah, all ye meek of the land, who have performed his ordinance; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of Jehovah's anger.
3 Ceisiwch yr ARGLWYDD, holl rai gostyngedig y ddaear sy'n cadw ei ddeddfau; ceisiwch gyfiawnder, ceisiwch ostyngeiddrwydd; efallai y cewch guddfan yn nydd llid yr ARGLWYDD.
4For Gazah shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon shall be a desolation; they shall drive out Ashdod at noonday, and Ekron shall be rooted up.
4 Bydd Gasa yn anghyfannedd ac Ascalon yn ddiffaith; gyrrir allan drigolion Asdod ganol dydd, a diwreiddir Ecron.
5Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea-coast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of Jehovah is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: I will destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant;
5 Gwae drigolion glan y m�r, cenedl y Cerethiaid! Y mae gair yr ARGLWYDD yn eich erbyn, O Ganaan, gwlad y Philistiaid: "Difethaf chwi heb adael trigiannydd ar �l."
6and the sea-coast shall be cave-dwellings for shepherds, and folds for flocks.
6 A bydd glan y m�r yn borfa, yn fythod i fugeiliaid ac yn gorlannau i ddefaid.
7And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for Jehovah their God shall visit them, and turn again their captivity.
7 Bydd glan y m�r yn eiddo i weddill tu375? Jwda; yno y porant, a gorwedd fin nos yn nhai Ascalon. Oherwydd bydd yr ARGLWYDD eu Duw yn ymweld � hwy ac yn adfer eu llwyddiant.
8I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, wherewith they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
8 "Clywais wawd Moab a gwatwaredd yr Ammoniaid, fel y bu iddynt wawdio fy mhobl a bygwth eu terfyn.
9Therefore, [as] I live, saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Moab shall certainly be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, a possession of nettles, and salt-pits, and a perpetual desolation; the remnant of my people shall spoil them, and the residue of my nation shall possess them.
9 Am hynny, cyn wired �'m bod i'n fyw," medd ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, Duw Israel, "bydd Moab fel Sodom, a'r Ammoniaid fel Gomorra, yn dir danadl, yn bentwr o halen, yn ddiffaith am byth. Bydd y rhai a adawyd o'm pobl yn eu hanrheithio, a gweddill fy nghenedl yn meddiannu eu tir."
10This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of Jehovah of hosts.
10 Dyma'r t�l am eu balchder, am iddynt wawdio a bygwth pobl ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd.
11Jehovah will be terrible unto them; for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and all the isles of the nations shall worship him, every one from his place.
11 Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn ofnadwy yn eu herbyn, oherwydd fe ddarostwng holl dduwiau'r ddaear hyd newyn, a bydd holl arfordir y cenhedloedd yn ymostwng iddo, pob un yn ei le ei hun.
12Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be the slain of my sword.
12 Chwithau hefyd, Ethiopiaid, fe'ch lleddir �'m cleddyf.
13And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, a place of drought like the wilderness.
13 Ac fe estyn ei law yn erbyn y gogledd, a dinistrio Asyria; fe wna Ninefe'n anialwch, yn sych fel diffeithwch.
14And flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the crowd of beasts; both the pelican and the bittern shall lodge in the chapiters thereof; a voice shall sing in the windows; desolation shall be on the thresholds: for he hath laid bare the cedar work.
14 Bydd diadelloedd yn gorwedd yn ei chanol, holl anifeiliaid y maes; bydd y pelican ac aderyn y bwn yn nythu yn ei thrawstiau; bydd y dylluan yn llefain yn ei ffenestr, a'r gigfran wrth y rhiniog, am fod y cedrwydd yn noeth.
15This is the rejoicing city that dwelt in security, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none else beside me: how is she become a desolation, a couching-place for beasts! Every one that passeth by her shall hiss, shall wave his hand.
15 Dyma'r ddinas fostfawr oedd yn byw mor ddiofal, ac yn dweud wrthi ei hun, "Myfi, nid oes neb ond myfi." Y fath ddiffeithwch ydyw, lloches i anifeiliaid gwylltion! Bydd pob un a � heibio iddi yn chwibanu ac yn codi dwrn arni.
