1Woe to her that is rebellious and corrupted, to the oppressing city!
1 Gwae'r ddinas orthrymus, yr un wrthryfelgar a budr!
2She hearkened not to the voice; she received not correction; she confided not in Jehovah; she drew not near her God.
2 Ni wrandawodd ar lais neb, ac ni dderbyniodd gyngor; nid ymddiriedodd yn yr ARGLWYDD, ac ni nesaodd at ei Duw.
3Her princes in the midst of her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves, that leave nothing for the morning.
3 Llewod yn rhuo yn ei chanol oedd ei swyddogion; ei barnwyr yn fleiddiaid yr hwyr, heb adael dim tan y bore;
4Her prophets are vain-glorious, treacherous persons; her priests profane the sanctuary, they do violence to the law.
4 ei phroffwydi'n rhyfygus ac yn rhai twyllodrus; ei hoffeiriaid yn halogi'r cysegredig ac yn treisio'r gyfraith.
5The righteous Jehovah is in the midst of her: he doeth no wrong. Every morning doth he bring his judgment to light; it faileth not: but the unrighteous knoweth no shame.
5 Ond y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn ei chanol yn gyfiawn; nid yw'n gwneud cam; fore ar l bore y mae'n traddodi barn heb ballu ar doriad y dydd; ond ni u373?yr yr anghyfiawn gywilydd.
6I have cut off nations: their battlements are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by; their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, so that there is no inhabitant.
6 "Torrais ymaith genhedloedd, ac y mae eu tyrau'n garnedd; gwneuthum eu strydoedd yn ddiffeithwch nad eir trwyddo; anrheithiwyd eu dinasoedd, heb bobl, heb drigiannydd.
7I said, Only fear me, receive correction; so her dwelling shall not be cut off, howsoever I may punish her. But they rose early, they corrupted all their doings.
7 Dywedais, 'Bydd yn sicr o'm hofni a derbyn cyngor, ac ni chyll olwg ar y cyfan a ddygais arni.' Ond yr oeddent yn eiddgar i lygru eu holl weithredoedd.
8Therefore wait ye for me, saith Jehovah, until the day that I rise up to the prey; for my determination is to assemble the nations, that I may gather the kingdoms together, to pour upon them mine indignation, -- all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
8 "Felly, disgwyliwch amdanaf," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "am y dydd y codaf yn dyst i'ch erbyn; oherwydd fy mwriad yw casglu cenhedloedd a chynnull teyrnasoedd, i dywallt fy nicter arnynt, holl gynddaredd fy llid; oherwydd thn fy llid yr ysir yr holl dir.
9For then will I turn to the peoples a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent.
9 "Yna, rhof i'r bobloedd wefus bur, iddynt oll alw ar enw'r ARGLWYDD a'i wasanaethu'n unfryd.
10From beyond the rivers of Cush my suppliants, the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine oblation.
10 o'r tu hwnt i afonydd Ethiopia y dygir offrwm i mi gan y rhai ar wasgar sy'n ymbil arnaf.
11In that day thou shalt not be ashamed for all thy doings wherein thou hast transgressed against me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that exult in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
11 "Ar y dydd hwnnw ni'th waradwyddir am dy holl waith yn gwrthryfela i'm herbyn; oherwydd symudaf o'th blith y rhai sy'n ymhyfrydu mewn balchder, ac ni fyddi byth mwy'n ymddyrchafu yn fy mynydd sanctaidd.
12And I will leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of Jehovah.
12 Ond gadawaf yn dy fysg bobl ostyngedig ac isel, a bydd gweddill Israel yn ymddiried yn enw'r ARGLWYDD;
13The remnant of Israel shall not work unrighteousness, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: but *they* shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
13 ni wnnt ddim anghyfiawn na dweud celwydd, ac ni cheir tafod twyllodrus yn eu genau; oherwydd porant, a gorweddant heb neb i'w dychryn."
14Exult, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; rejoice and be glad with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem:
14 Cn, ferch Seion; gwaedda'n uchel, O Israel; llawenha a gorfoledda 'th holl galon, ferch Jerwsalem.
15Jehovah hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy; the King of Israel, Jehovah, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not see evil any more.
15 Trodd yr ARGLWYDD dy gosb oddi wrthyt, a symud dy elynion. Y mae brenin Israel, yr ARGLWYDD, yn dy ganol, ac nid ofni ddrwg mwyach.
16In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear not; Zion, let not thy hands be slack.
16 Y dydd hwnnw dywedir wrth Jerwsalem, "Nac ofna, Seion, ac na laesa dy ddwylo;
17Jehovah thy God is in thy midst, a mighty one that will save: he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will exult over thee with singing.
17 y mae'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw yn dy ganol, yn rhyfelwr i'th waredu; fe orfoledda'n llawen ynot, a'th adnewyddu yn ei gariad; llawenycha ynot chn
18I will gather them that sorrow for the solemn assemblies, who were of thee: the reproach of it was a burden [unto them].
18 fel ar ddydd gu373?yl. Symudaf aflwydd ymaith oddi wrthyt, rhag bod iti gywilydd o'i blegid.
19Behold, at that time I will deal with all them that afflict thee; and I will save her that halted, and gather her that was driven out; and I will make them a praise and a name in all the lands where they have been put to shame.
19 Wele fi'n talu'r pwyth i'th orthrymwyr yn yr amser hwnnw; gwaredaf y rhai cloff a chasglaf y rhai gwasgaredig, a rhof iddynt glod ac enw yn holl dir eu gwarth.
20At that time will I bring you, yea, at the time that I gather you; for I will make you a name and a praise, among all the peoples of the earth, when I shall turn again your captivity before your eyes, saith Jehovah.
20 Y pryd hwnnw, pan fydd yn amser i'ch casglu, mi ddof chwi adref; oherwydd rhof i chwi glod ac enw ymhlith holl bobloedd y ddaear, pan adferaf eich llwyddiant yn eich gu373?ydd," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
