1{To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of the servant of Jehovah; of David.} The transgression of the wicked uttereth within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.
1[] <<Εις τον πρωτον μουσικον. Ψαλμος του Δαβιδ, δουλου του Κυριου.>> Του ασεβους η παρανομια λεγει εν τη καρδια μου, δεν ειναι φοβος Θεου εμπροσθεν των οφθαλμων αυτου.
2For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, [even] when his iniquity is found to be hateful.
2Διοτι απατα εαυτον εις τους οφθαλμους αυτου περι του οτι θελει ευρεθη η ανομια αυτου δια να μισηθη.
3The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, to do good.
3Τα λογια του στοματος αυτου ειναι ανομια και δολος· δεν ηθελησε να νοηση δια να πραττη το αγαθον.
4He deviseth wickedness up on his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good: he abhorreth not evil.
4Ανομιαν διαλογιζεται επι της κλινης αυτου· ισταται εν οδω ουχι καλη· το κακον δεν μισει.
5Jehovah, thy loving-kindness is in the heavens, and thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the clouds.
5[] Κυριε, εως του ουρανου φθανει το ελεος σου, η αληθεια σου εως των νεφελων.
6Thy righteousness is like the high mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: thou, Jehovah, preservest man and beast.
6Η δικαιοσυνη σου ειναι ως τα υψηλα ορη· αι κρισεις σου αβυσσος μεγαλη· ανθρωπους και κτηνη σωζεις, Κυριε.
7How precious is thy loving-kindness, O God! So the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.
7Ποσον πολυτιμον ειναι το ελεος σου, Θεε. Δια τουτο οι υιοι των ανθρωπων ελπιζουσιν επι την σκιαν των πτερυγων σου.
8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
8Θελουσι χορτασθη απο του παχους του οικου σου, και απο του χειμαρρου της τρυφης σου θελεις ποτισει αυτους.
9For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
9Διοτι μετα σου ειναι η πηγη της ζωης· εν τω φωτι σου θελομεν ιδει φως.
10Continue thy loving-kindness unto them that know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart;
10Εκτεινον το ελεος σου προς τους γνωριζοντας σε, και την δικαιοσυνην σου προς τους ευθεις την καρδιαν.
11Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
11Ας μη ελθη επ' εμε πους υπερηφανιας· και χειρ ασεβων ας μη με σαλευση.
12There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and are not able to rise.
12Εκει επεσον οι εργαται της ανομιας· κατεσπρωχθησαν και δεν θελουσι δυνηθη να ανεγερθωσι.
