¹Come, let us sing aloud to Jehovah, let us shout for joy to the rock of our salvation;

¹לכו נרננה ליהוה נריעה לצור ישענו׃

²Let us come before his face with thanksgiving; let us shout aloud unto him with psalms.

²נקדמה פניו בתודה בזמרות נריע לו׃

³For Jehovah is a great ùGod, and a great king above all gods.

³כי אל גדול יהוה ומלך גדול על כל אלהים׃

⁴In his hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also:

⁴אשר בידו מחקרי ארץ ותועפות הרים לו׃

⁵The sea is his, and he made it, and his hands formed the dry [land].

⁵אשר לו הים והוא עשהו ויבשת ידיו יצרו׃

⁶Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before Jehovah our Maker.

⁶באו נשתחוה ונכרעה נברכה לפני יהוה עשנו׃

⁷For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. To-day if ye hear his voice,

⁷כי הוא אלהינו ואנחנו עם מרעיתו וצאן ידו היום אם בקלו תשמעו׃

⁸Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, as [in] the day of Massah, in the wilderness;

⁸אל תקשו לבבכם כמריבה כיום מסה במדבר׃

⁹When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

⁹אשר נסוני אבותיכם בחנוני גם ראו פעלי׃

¹⁰Forty years was I grieved with the generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways;

¹⁰ארבעים שנה אקוט בדור ואמר עם תעי לבב הם והם לא ידעו דרכי׃

¹¹So that I swore in mine anger, that they should not enter into my rest.

¹¹אשר נשבעתי באפי אם יבאון אל מנוחתי׃
