1{A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, I have called upon thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.
1Mazmur Daud. Aku berseru kepada-Mu, ya TUHAN, tolonglah aku segera! Dengarlah aku bila aku berseru kepada-Mu.
2Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening oblation.
2Terimalah doaku sebagai persembahan dupa, dan tanganku yang terentang sebagai kurban malam.
3Set a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
3Ya TUHAN, jagalah mulutku dan awasilah bibirku.
4Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise deeds of wickedness with men that are workers of iniquity; and let me not eat of their dainties.
4Jauhkanlah aku dari keinginan berbuat jahat. Jangan biarkan aku bergabung dengan orang durhaka dan ikut makan dalam pesta mereka.
5Let the righteous smite me, it is kindness; and let him reprove me, it is an excellent oil which my head shall not refuse: for yet my prayer also is [for them] in their calamities.
5Jika seorang baik menegur aku, dan dengan tulus menghajar aku, itu seperti minyak yang paling baik bagiku. Semoga aku tidak menolaknya, sebab aku terus berdoa menentang kejahatan mereka.
6When their judges are thrown down from the rocks, they shall hear my words, for they are sweet.
6Bila para penguasa mereka dicampakkan dari tebing-tebing batu, mereka akan mengakui bahwa kata-kataku benar.
7Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol, as when one cutteth and cleaveth [wood] upon the earth.
7Tulang-tulang kita akan dihamburkan di tepi kuburan seperti sebuah batu dihancurkan ke tanah.
8For unto thee, Jehovah, Lord, are mine eyes; in thee do I trust: leave not my soul destitute.
8Tetapi aku tetap berharap kepada-Mu, ya TUHAN Allahku, jangan biarkan aku mati, sebab aku berlindung pada-Mu.
9Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
9Lindungilah aku dari jerat yang dipasang bagiku, dari perangkap penjahat-penjahat itu.
10Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that *I* withal pass over.
10Biarlah mereka jatuh ke dalam jeratnya sendiri, tetapi semoga aku selamat.
