¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹主はまたモーセに言われた、

²Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If a man or a woman have vowed the special vow of a Nazarite, to consecrate themselves to Jehovah;

²「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『男または女が、特に誓いを立て、ナジルびととなる誓願をして、身を主に聖別する時は、

³he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink: he shall drink no vinegar of wine, nor vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat grapes, fresh or dried.

³ぶどう酒と濃い酒を断ち、ぶどう酒の酢となったもの、濃い酒の酢となったものを飲まず、また、ぶどうの汁を飲まず、また生でも干したものでも、ぶどうを食べてはならない。

⁴All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine, from the seed-stones, even to the skin.

⁴ナジルびとである間は、すべて、ぶどうの木からできるものは、種も皮も食べてはならない。

⁵All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head; until the days be fulfilled, that he hath consecrated himself to Jehovah, he shall be holy; he shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

⁵また、ナジルびとたる誓願を立てている間は、すべて、かみそりを頭に当ててはならない。身を主に聖別した日数の満ちるまで、彼は聖なるものであるから、髪の毛をのばしておかなければならない。

⁶All the days that he hath consecrated himself to Jehovah, he shall come near no dead body.

⁶身を主に聖別している間は、すべて死体に近づいてはならない。

⁷He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister when they die; for the consecration of his God is upon his head.

⁷父母、兄弟、姉妹が死んだ時でも、そのために身を汚してはならない。神に聖別したしるしが、頭にあるからである。

⁸All the days of his separation he is holy to Jehovah.

⁸彼はナジルびとである間は、すべて主の聖なる者である。

⁹And if any one die unexpectedly by him suddenly, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day shall he shave it.

⁹もし人がはからずも彼のかたわらに死んで、彼の聖別した頭を汚したならば、彼は身を清める日に、頭をそらなければならない。すなわち、七日目にそれをそらなければならない。　　

¹⁰And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

¹⁰そして八日目に山ばと二羽、または家ばとのひな二羽を携えて、会見の幕屋の入口におる祭司の所に行かなければならない。

¹¹And the priest shall offer one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead person; and he shall hallow his head that same day.

¹¹祭司はその一羽を罪祭に、一羽を燔祭にささげて、彼が死体によって得た罪を彼のためにあがない、その日に彼の頭を聖別しなければならない。

¹²And he shall [again] consecrate to Jehovah the days of his separation, and shall bring a yearling lamb for a trespass-offering. But the first days are forfeited, for his consecration hath been defiled.

¹²彼はまたナジルびとたる日の数を、改めて主に聖別し、一歳の雄の小羊を携えてきて、愆祭としなければならない。それ以前の日は、彼がその聖別を汚したので、無効になるであろう。

¹³And this is the law of the Nazarite on the day when the days of his consecration are fulfilled: he shall be brought to the entrance of the tent of meeting.

¹³これがナジルびとの律法である。聖別の日数が満ちた時は、その人を会見の幕屋の入口に連れてこなければならない。

¹⁴And he shall present his offering to Jehovah, one yearling he-lamb without blemish for a burnt-offering, and one yearling ewe-lamb without blemish for a sin-offering, and one ram without blemish for a peace-offering;

¹⁴そしてその人は供え物を主にささげなければならない。すなわち、一歳の雄の小羊の全きもの一頭を燔祭とし、一歳の雌の小羊の全きもの一頭を罪祭とし、雄羊の全きもの一頭を酬恩祭とし、

¹⁵and a basket with unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and their oblation, and their drink-offerings.

¹⁵また種入れぬパンの一かご、油を混ぜて作った麦粉の菓子、油を塗った種入れぬ煎餅、および素祭と灌祭を携えてこなければならない。

¹⁶And the priest shall present them before Jehovah, and shall offer his sin-offering and his burnt-offering:

¹⁶祭司はこれを主の前に携えてきて、その罪祭と燔祭とをささげ、

¹⁷and he shall offer the ram, a sacrifice of peace-offering to Jehovah, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall offer also his oblation and his drink-offering.

¹⁷また雄羊を種入れぬパンの一かごと共に、酬恩祭の犠牲として、主にささげなければならない。祭司はまたその素祭と灌祭をもささげなければならない。

¹⁸And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his consecration at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and shall take the hair of the head of his consecration, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace-offering.

¹⁸そのナジルびとは会見の幕屋の入口で、聖別した頭をそり、その聖別した頭の髪を取って、これを酬恩祭の犠牲の下にある火の上に置かなければならない。

¹⁹And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after he hath shaven [the hair of] his consecration.

¹⁹祭司はその雄羊の肩の煮えたものと、かごから取った種入れぬ菓子一つと、種入れぬ煎餅一つを取って、これをナジルびとが、その聖別した頭をそった後、その手に授け、

²⁰And the priest shall wave them as wave-offering before Jehovah; it is holy for the priest, with the breast of the wave-offering and with the shoulder of the heave-offering; and afterwards the Nazarite may drink wine.

²⁰祭司は主の前でこれを揺り動かして揺祭としなければならない。これは聖なる物であって、その揺り動かした胸と、ささげたももと共に、祭司に帰するであろう。こうして後、そのナジルびとは、ぶどう酒を飲むことができる。

²¹This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed: his offering to Jehovah for his consecration, beside what his hand is able to get; according to the vow which he vowed, so shall he do, according to the law of his consecration.

²¹これは誓願をするナジルびとと、そのナジルびとたる事のために、主にささげる彼の供え物についての律法である。このほかにその力の及ぶ物をささげることができる。すなわち、彼はその誓う誓願のように、ナジルびとの律法にしたがって行わなければならない』」。

²²And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

²²主はまたモーセに言われた、

²³Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel: saying unto them,

²³「アロンとその子たちに言いなさい、『あなたがたはイスラエルの人々を祝福してこのように言わなければならない。

²⁴Jehovah bless thee, and keep thee;

²⁴「願わくは主があなたを祝福し、あなたを守られるように。

²⁵Jehovah make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee;

²⁵願わくは主がみ顔をもってあなたを照し、あなたを恵まれるように。

²⁶Jehovah lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

²⁶願わくは主がみ顔をあなたに向け、あなたに平安を賜わるように」』。こうして彼らがイスラエルの人々のために、わたしの名を唱えるならば、わたしは彼らを祝福するであろう」。

²⁷And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

²⁷こうして彼らがイスラエルの人々のために、わたしの名を唱えるならば、わたしは彼らを祝福するであろう」。
