¹{To the chief Musician. Upon Muthlabben. A Psalm of David.} I will praise Jehovah with my whole heart; I will recount all thy marvellous works.

¹わたしは心をつくして主に感謝し、あなたのくすしきみわざをことごとく宣べ伝えます。

²I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.

²いと高き者よ、あなたによってわたしは喜びかつ楽しみ、あなたの名をほめ歌います。

³When mine enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished at thy presence:

³わたしの敵は退くとき、つまずき倒れてあなたの前に滅びました。

⁴For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. Thou sittest on the throne, judging righteously.

⁴あなたがわたしの正しい訴えを助け守られたからです。あなたはみくらに座して、正しいさばきをされました。

⁵Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

⁵あなたはもろもろの国民を責め、悪しき者を滅ぼし、永久に彼らの名を消し去られました。

⁶O enemy! destructions are ended for ever. -- Thou hast also destroyed cities, even the remembrance of them hath perished.

⁶敵は絶えはてて、とこしえに滅び、あなたが滅ぼされたもろもろの町はその記憶さえ消えうせました。

⁷But Jehovah sitteth for ever; he hath ordained his throne for judgment.

⁷しかし主はとこしえに、み位に座し、さばきのために、みくらを設けられました。

⁸And it is he that will judge the world with righteousness; he shall execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.

⁸主は正義をもって世界をさばき、公平をもってもろもろの民をさばかれます。

⁹And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.

⁹主はしえたげられる者のとりで、なやみの時のとりでです。

¹⁰And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

¹⁰み名を知る者はあなたに寄り頼みます。主よ、あなたを尋ね求める者をあなたは捨てられたことがないからです。

¹¹Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.

¹¹シオンに住まわれる主にむかってほめうたい、そのみわざをもろもろの民のなかに宣べ伝えよ。

¹²For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten.

¹²血を流す者にあだを報いられる主は彼らを心にとめ、苦しむ者の叫びをお忘れにならないからです。

¹³Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:

¹³主よ、わたしをあわれんでください。死の門からわたしを引きあげられる主よ、あだする者のわたしを悩ますのをみそなわしてください。

¹⁴That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will be joyful in thy salvation.

¹⁴そうすれば、わたしはあなたのすべての誉を述べ、シオンの娘の門で、あなたの救を喜ぶことができましょう。

¹⁵The nations are sunk down in the pit [that] they made; in the net that they hid is their own foot taken.

¹⁵もろもろの国民は自分の作った穴に陥り、隠し設けた網に自分の足を捕えられる。

¹⁶Jehovah is known [by] the judgment he hath executed: the wicked is ensnared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

¹⁶主はみずからを知らせ、さばきを行われた。悪しき者は自分の手で作ったわなに捕えられる。〔ヒガヨン、セラ

¹⁷The wicked shall be turned into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.

¹⁷悪しき者、また神を忘れるもろもろの国民は陰府へ去って行く。

¹⁸For the needy one shall not be forgotten alway; the hope of the meek shall not perish for ever.

¹⁸貧しい者は常に忘れられるのではない。苦しむ者の望みはとこしえに滅びるのではない。

¹⁹Arise, Jehovah; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in thy sight.

¹⁹主よ、立ちあがってください。人に勝利を得させず、もろもろの国民に、み前でさばきを受けさせてください。主よ、彼らに恐れを起させ、もろもろの国民に自分がただ、人であることを知らせてください。〔セラ

²⁰Put them in fear, Jehovah: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
