1And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
1[Ny nanaovan'i Mika sarin-javatra hivavahana] Nisy lehilahy tany amin'ny tany havoan'i Efraima, Mika no anarany.
2And he said to his mother, The eleven hundred silver-pieces that were taken from thee, and about which thou didst curse and speak of in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be my son of Jehovah!
2Ary hoy izy tamin'ny reniny: Ilay sekely volafotsy zato amby arivo nalaina taminao, izay nasianao ozona sady nolazainao teo anatrehako, indro, ato amiko ny vola; izaho no naka azy. Dia hoy ny reniny: Hotahin'i Jehovah anie ny zanako.
3And he restored the eleven hundred silver-pieces to his mother; and his mother said, I had dedicated the silver to Jehovah from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image; and now I will restore it to thee.
3Ary rehefa naveriny tamin'ny reniny ny sekely volafotsy zato amby arivo, dia hoy reniny: Atokako ho an'i Jehovah mihitsy ity vola avy amin'ny tanako ity ka hatolotro ho anao, ry zanako, hanaovana sarin-javatra voasokitra sy sarin-javatra an-idina, ary ankehitriny dia averiko ho aminao izy.[Na: Efa natokako]
4Now he restored the silver to his mother; and his mother took two hundred silver-pieces and gave them to the founder, and he made of them a graven image and a molten image; and they were in the house of Micah.
4Ary rehefa naveriny tamin-dreniny ny volafotsy, dia naka volafotsy roan-jato ny reniny, ka nomeny ny mpanao an-idina hataony sarin-javatra voasokitra sy sarin-javatra an-idina; dia natao tao an-tranon'i Mika izany.
5And the man Micah had a house of gods, and made an ephod and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
5Ary nanana tranon'andriamanitra Mika sady efa nanao efoda sy terafima; ary ny zanany anankiray no natokany ka tonga mpisorony.[Heb. nofenoiny ny tànany]
6In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes.
6Tamin'izany andro izany tsy nisy mpanjaka tamin'ny Isiraely: fa samy nanao izay nataony ho marina avy ny olona rehetra.
7And there was a young man out of Bethlehem-Judah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
7Ary nisy zatovo avy any Betlehema-joda, tamin'ny fokon'i Joda, ary Levita izy sady nivahiny tao.
8And the man departed from the city, from Bethlehem-Judah, to sojourn where he might find [a place]. And as he journeyed, he came to mount Ephraim, to the house of Micah.
8Ary ralehilahy niala tao an-tanàna Betlehema-joda hivahiny any amin'izay azony hitoerana; ary nony nandeha izy, dia tonga tany amin'ny tany havoan'i Efraima tao an-tranon'i Mika.
9And Micah said to him, Whence comest thou? And he said to him, I am a Levite of Bethlehem-Judah, and I go to sojourn where I may find [a place].
9Ary hoy Mika taminy: Avy aiza moa ianao? Dia hoy kosa izy taminy: Levita avy any Betlehema-joda aho ka mandeha hivahiny eny amin'izay azoko hitoerana.
10And Micah said to him, Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give thee yearly ten silver-pieces, and a suit of garments, and thy victuals. And the Levite went in.
10Dia hoy Mika taminy: Mitoera atỳ amiko ianao, ary aoka ho raiko sy ho mpisoroko, dia homeko sekely folo volafotsy isan-taona sy fitafiana ary hanina. Dia niditra ilay Levita.
11And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was to him as one of his sons.
11Ary nanaiky hitoetra tao amin-dralehilahy ilay Levita, ka dia tonga tahaka ny zanany izy.
12And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
12Dia natokan'i Mika ilay Levita, ka dia tonga mpisorony izy ary nitoetra tao an-tranon'i Mika.Dia hoy Mika: Fantatro izao fa hanisy soa ahy Jehovah, satria manana ity Levita ity ho mpisoroko aho.
13Then said Micah, Now I know that Jehovah will do me good, because I have the Levite for priest.
13Dia hoy Mika: Fantatro izao fa hanisy soa ahy Jehovah, satria manana ity Levita ity ho mpisoroko aho.
