1{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} In thee, Jehovah, do I trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
1[Fitarainana nataon'izay tra-panenjehana mafy] Ho an'ny mpiventy hira. Salamo nataon'i Davida. Jehovah ô, Hianao no ialofako; aoka tsy ho menatra akory mandrakizay aho; vonjeo amin'ny fahamarinanao aho.
2Incline thine ear to me, deliver me speedily; be a strong rock to me, a house of defence to save me.
2Atongilano amiko ny sofinao, faingàna hamonjy ahy; aoka ho vatolampiko fiarovana mafy Hianao sy batery fiarovana hamonjena ahy.
3For thou art my rock and my fortress; and, for thy name's sake, thou wilt lead me and guide me.
3Fa harambatoko sy batery fiarovana ho ahy Hianao; ary noho ny anaranao no hitondrànao sy hitarihanao ahy.
4Draw me out of the net that they have hidden for me; for thou art my strength.
4Hanafaka ahy amin'ny fandrika harato izay nafeniny hamandrihany ahy Hianao; fa Hianao no fiarovana mafy ho ahy.
5Into thy hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, Jehovah, [thou] ùGod of truth.
5Eo an-tananao no atolotro ny fanahiko; fa efa nanavotra ahy Hianao, Jehovah ô, Andriamanitry ny fahamarinana.
6I have hated them that observe lying vanities; and as for me, I have confided in Jehovah.
6Halako izay mivavaka amin'ny sampy; fa Jehovah kosa no itokiako.[Heb: zava-poana mandainga]
7I will be glad and rejoice in thy loving-kindness, for thou hast seen mine affliction; thou hast known the troubles of my soul,
7Hifaly sy ho ravoravo amin'ny famindram-ponao aho; fa nahita ny fahantrako Hianao, ka nahafantatra ny fahorian'ny fanahiko,
8And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large place.
8ary tsy mba nangeja ahy teo an-tànan'ny fahavalo; fa efa nampitoetra ny tongotro eo amin'ny malalaka Hianao.
9Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am in trouble: mine eye wasteth away with vexation, my soul and my belly.
9Mamindrà fo amiko, Jehovah ô, fa azom-pahoriana aho; simban'alahelo ny masoko sy ny fanahiko ary ny tenako.
10For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength faileth through mine iniquity, and my bones are wasted.
10Fa lanin'alahelo ny aiko, sady lanim-pisentoana ny taonako; Tsy manan-kery aho noho ny heloko, ary efa lany ny taolako.
11More than to all mine oppressors, I am become exceedingly a reproach, even to my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that see me without flee from me.

12I am forgotten in [their] heart as a dead man; I am become like a broken vessel.

13For I have heard the slander of many -- terror on every side -- when they take counsel together against me: they plot to take away my life.
13Fa mandre ny endrikendriky ny maro aho; misy fampangorohoroana manodidina, raha miara-mioko hamely ahy izy, ka miray tetika hahafaty ny aiko.
14But I confided in thee, Jehovah; I said, thou art my God.
14Nefa izaho matoky Anao, Jehovah ô; hoy izaho: Andriamanitro Hianao.
15My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from my persecutors.
15Eo an-tananao ny androko; Vonjeo aho tsy ho azon'ny tanan'ny fahavaloko sy izay manenjika ahy.
16Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me in thy loving-kindness.
16Ampamirapirato amin'ny mpanomponao ny tavanao; vonjeo amin'ny famindram-ponao aho.
17Jehovah, let me not be ashamed; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, let them be silent in Sheol.
17Aoka tsy ho menatra aho, Jehovah ô, satria miantso Anao; fa aoka kosa ho menatra ny ratsy fanahy ka hangina any amin'ny fiainan-tsi-hita. [Heb: Sheola]
18Let the lying lips become dumb, which speak insolently against the righteous in pride and contempt.
18Aoka hangina ny molotra mandainga, izay miteny sahisahy hanohitra ny marina, amin'ny avonavona sy ny fanamavoana.
19[Oh] how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, [which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee, before the sons of men!
19Akory re ny haben'ny zava-tsoanao voarakitrao ho an'ny matahotra Anao! dia izay nataonao teo anatrehan'ny zanak'olombelona ho an'izay mialoka aminao!
20Thou keepest them concealed in the secret of thy presence from the conspiracies of man; thou hidest them in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
20Hanafina azy ao amin'ny fiafenana eo anatrehanao Hianao, mba tsy ho tratry ny teti-dratsy ataon'ny olona izy; hampiery azy ao an-tranonao Hianao, mba tsy ho azon'ny lela mifanditra izy.
21Blessed be Jehovah; for he hath shewn me wondrously his loving-kindness in a strong city.
21Isaorana anie Jehovah; fa nataony mahagaga ny famindram-pony tamiko tao an-tanàna mimanda.
22As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes; nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
22Fa hoy izaho tamin'ny fahatairako; voafongotra tsy ho eo imasonao aho; kanjo nihaino ny feon'ny fifonako ihany Hianao, raha nitaraina taminao aho.
23Love Jehovah, all ye his saints. Jehovah preserveth the faithful, and plentifully requiteth the proud doer.

24Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all ye that hope in Jehovah.
