1{A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.} Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
1[Fivavak'izay ory dia ory indrindra] Salamo nataon'i Davida. Ho fampahatsiarovana. Jehovah ô, aza ny fahatezeranao no ananaranao ahy; ary aza ny fahaviniranao no amaizanao ahy.
2For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand cometh down upon me.
2Fa mitsatoka amiko ny zana-tsipìkanao,ary manindry ahy mafy ny tananao,
3There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; no peace in my bones, because of my sin.
3Tsy misy fahasalamana ny nofoko noho ny fahatezeranao; tsy misy tsy marary ny taolako noho ny fahotako.
4For mine iniquities are gone over my head: as a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
4Fa ny heloko efa mihoatra ny lohako; tahaka ny entana mavesatra izy ka tsy zakako.
5My wounds stink, they are corrupt, because of my foolishness.
5Maimbo sady mihady ny feriko noho ny hadalako.
6I am depressed; I am bowed down beyond measure; I go mourning all the day.
6Mitanondrika sy mijoretra indrindra aho, ary misaona mandrakariva.
7For my loins are full of burning, and there is no soundness in my flesh.
7Ary ny vaniako henika ny aretina mahamay, ka tsy misy fahasalamana ny nofoko.
8I am faint and broken beyond measure; I roar by reason of the agitation of my heart.
8Marikoditra aho sady torovana indrindra; midradradradra aho noho ny fitolokon'ny foko.
9Lord, all my desire is before thee, and my sighing is not hid from thee.
9Ry Tompo ô, eo anatrehanao ny faniriako rehetra;ary ny fisentoako tsy mba miafina aminao.
10My heart throbbeth, my strength hath left me; and the light of mine eyes, it also is no more with me.
10Miemponempona ny foko, lany ny heriko, ary ny fahiratan'ny masoko aza efa nandao ahy.
11My lovers and mine associates stand aloof from my stroke; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
11Ny olo-malalako sy ny sakaizako aza efa manalavitra ny fahoriako; Ary ny havako mijanona eny lavitra eny.
12And they that seek after my life lay snares [for me]; and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and meditate deceits all the day long.

13But I, as a deaf [man], hear not; and am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
13Fa izaho dia tahaka ny marenina ka tsy mandre, ary tahaka ny moana ka tsy mahaloa-bava;
14Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
14Eny, dia tahaka ny olona tsy mandre, sady tsy misy teny havaly eo am-bavany.
15For in thee, Jehovah, do I hope: *thou* wilt answer, O Lord my God.
15Fa ianao no antenaiko Jehovah ô; ianao no hamaly, ry Tompo Andriamanitra ô.
16For I said, Let them not rejoice over me! When my foot slipped, they magnified [themselves] against me.
16Fa hoy izaho: sao dia hifalian'izy ireo anie aho;ary raha mibolisatra ny tongotro, dia hirehareha amiko izy.
17For I am ready to halt, and my pain is continually before me.
17Fa efa ho lavo aho, ary ny fanaintainako dia tsaroako mandrakariva.
18For I will declare mine iniquity, I am grieved for my sin.
18Fa ny heloko no hambarako; matahotra aho noho ny fahotako. [Na: Malahelo]
19But mine enemies are lively, they are strong; and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied:

20And they that render evil for good are adversaries unto me; because I pursue what is good.

21Forsake me not, Jehovah; O my God, be not far from me.
21Aza mahafoy ahy,Jehovah ô; Ry Andriamanitro ô, aza manalavitra ahy.Faingàna hamonjy ahy, ry Tompo, Mpamonjy ahy ô.
22Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation.
