¹[Salamo hatao amin'ny maraina, milaza ny amin'ny olona mahazo manatona an'Andriamanitra, sy ny hitsarana ny ratsy fanahy] Ho an'ny mpiventy hira. Hampiarahina amin'ny sodina. Salamo nataon'i Davida. Jehovah ô, henoy ny teniko; fantaro ny eritreritro.

²Hearken unto the voice of my crying, my king and my God; for to thee will I pray.

²Henoy ny feon'ny fitarainako, ry Mpanjakako sy Andriamanitro ô;fa Hianao no ivavahako.

³Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; in the morning will I address myself to thee, and will look up.

³Jehovah ô, maraina no handrenesanao ny feoko; maraina no hivavahako aminao, ka hanandrandra aho.[Heb: handaharako]

⁴For thou art not a ùGod that hath pleasure in wickedness; evil shall not sojourn with thee.

⁴Fa tsy Andriamanitra mankasitraka izay ratsy Hianao; tsy hitoetra aminao ny ratsy.

⁵Insolent fools shall not stand before thine eyes; thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

⁵Tsy hahazo mijanona eo imasonao ny mpirehareha; halanao ny mpanao ratsy rehetra.

⁶Thou wilt destroy them that speak lies: Jehovah abhorreth a man of blood and deceit.

⁶Haringanao ny mpiteny lainga;ny olona mpandatsa-drà sy mpamitaka dia ataon'i Jehovah ho zava-betaveta.

⁷But as for me, in the greatness of thy loving-kindness will I enter thy house; I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness in thy fear.

⁷Fa izaho kosa noho ny haben'ny famindram-ponao dia hiditra ao an-tranonao; hiankohoka manatrika ny lapanao masina amin'ny fahatahorana anao aho.

⁸Lead me, Jehovah, in thy righteousness, because of my foes; make thy way plain before me.

⁸Jehovah ô, tariho amin'ny fahamarinanao aho noho ny amin'ny mpampahory ahy; ataovy marina eo anoloako ny lalanao.

⁹For there is no certainty in their mouth; their inward part is perversion, their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

⁹Fa tsy misy azo itokiana ny aloaky ny vavany; ny ao anatiny dia tena faharatsiana; fasana misokatra ny tendany. Mandambolambo ny lelany izy.[Na: lavaka mitanatana]

¹⁰Bring guilt upon them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels: drive them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against thee.

¹⁰Helohy izy, Andriamanitra ô; Aoka ho lavon'ny saina ataony izy; Roahy izy noho ny haben'ny fahotany, satria efa niodina taminao.

¹¹And all that trust in thee shall rejoice: for ever shall they shout joyously, and thou wilt protect them; and they that love thy name shall exult in thee.

¹¹Dia hifaly izay rehetra mialoka aminao, hihoby mandrakariva izy, koa miarova azy Hianao; ka dia ho ravoravo aminao izay tia ny anaranao.Fa Hianao, Jehovah ô, mitahy ny marina; fankasitrahana no ataonao manodidina azy toy ny ampinga lehibe.

¹²For thou, Jehovah, wilt bless the righteous [man]; with favour wilt thou surround him as [with] a shield.
