¹{A Psalm, a Song, for the Sabbath day.} It is good to give thanks unto Jehovah, and to sing psalms unto thy name, O Most High;

²To declare thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness in the nights,

²Ary hanambara ny famindram-ponao nony maraina Sy ny fahamarinanao nony alina,

³Upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the lute; upon the Higgaion with the harp.

³Amin'ny valiha tory folo Sy amin'ny feon-dokanga.

⁴For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work; I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

⁴Fa ampifalinao amin'ny nataonao aho Jehovah ô; Ny asan'ny tananao no hihobiako.

⁵Jehovah, how great are thy works! Thy thoughts are very deep:

⁵Jehovah ô, akory ny halehiben'ny asanao! Lalina indrindra ny fisainanao.

⁶A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand it.

⁶Ny ketrina tsy mahafantatra izany, Ary ny adala koa tsy mba mahalala.

⁷When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed for ever.

⁷Raha mitsiry tahaka ny ahitra ny ratsy fanahy, Ary mamony ny mpanao ratsy rehetra, Dia izany no ho fandringanana azy mandrakizay.

⁸And thou, Jehovah, art on high for evermore.

⁸Nefa Hianao, Jehovah ô, dia avo mandrakizay.

⁹For lo, thine enemies, O Jehovah, for lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

⁹Fa, indreo, ny fahavalonao, Jehovah ô, Fa, indreo, ringana ny fahavalonao; Mihahaka ny mpanao ratsy rehetra.

¹⁰But my horn shalt thou exalt like a buffalo's: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹¹And mine eye shall see [its desire] on mine enemies; mine ears shall hear [it] of the evil-doers that rise up against me.

¹¹Ary faly ny masoko mahita ny amin'ny fahavaloko, Ary finaritra ny sofiko mandre ny amin'ny ratsy fanahy izay efa mitsangana hamely ahy.

¹²The righteous shall shoot forth like a palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar on Lebanon.

¹²Ny marina hamololona tahaka ny rofia; Hisandrahaka tahaka ny sedera any Libanona izy; [palma][Heb. Ho tonga lehibe]

¹³Those that are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God:

¹³Efa nambolena tao an-tranon'i Jehovah izy Ka maniry eo an-kianjan'Andriamanitsika;

¹⁴They are still vigorous in old age, they are full of sap and green;

¹⁴Mbola manorobona ihany izy, na dia efa antitra aza; Dofodofotra sy maitso izy,Mba hanambara fa mahitsy Jehovah, Vatolampiko Izay tsy misy tsiny.

¹⁵To shew that Jehovah is upright: [he is] my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
