1Let brotherly love abide.
1സഹോദരപ്രീതി നിലനില്‍ക്കട്ടെ, അതിഥിസല്‍ക്കാരം മറക്കരുതു.
2Be not forgetful of hospitality; for by it some have unawares entertained angels.
2അതിനാല്‍ ചിലര്‍ അറിയാതെ ദൈവദൂതന്മാരെ സല്കരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ.
3Remember prisoners, as bound with [them]; those that are evil-treated, as being yourselves also in [the] body.
3നിങ്ങളും തടവുകാര്‍ എന്നപോലെ തടവുകാരെയും നിങ്ങളും ശരീരത്തില്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്നവരാകയാല്‍ കഷ്ടമനുഭവിക്കുന്നവരെയും ഔര്‍ത്തുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ .
4[Let] marriage [be held] every way in honour, and the bed [be] undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers will God judge.
4വിവാഹം എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും മാന്യവും കിടക്ക നിര്‍മ്മലവും ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ; എന്നാല്‍ ദുര്‍ന്നടപ്പുകാരെയും വ്യഭിചാരികളെയും ദൈവം വിധിക്കും.
5[Let your] conversation [be] without love of money, satisfied with [your] present circumstances; for *he* has said, I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.
5നിങ്ങളുടെ നടപ്പു ദ്രവ്യാഗ്രഹമില്ലാത്തതായിരിക്കട്ടെ; ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുവിന്‍ ; “ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ ഒരുനാളും കൈ വിടുകയില്ല, ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയുമില്ല” എന്നു അവന്‍ തന്നെ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
6So that, taking courage, we may say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not be afraid: what will man do unto me?
6ആകയാല്‍ “കര്‍ത്താവു എനിക്കു തുണ; ഞാന്‍ പേടിക്കയില്ല; മനുഷ്യന്‍ എന്നോടു എന്തു ചെയ്യും” എന്നു നമുക്കു ധൈര്‍യ്യത്തോടെ പറയാം.
7Remember your leaders who have spoken to you the word of God; and considering the issue of their conversation, imitate their faith.
7നിങ്ങളോടു ദൈവവചനം പ്രസംഗിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ നടത്തിയവരെ ഔര്‍ത്തുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ ; അവരുടെ ജീവാവസാനം ഔര്‍ത്തു അവരുടെ വിശ്വാസം അനുകരിപ്പിന്‍ .
8Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, and to-day, and to the ages [to come].
8യേശുക്രിസ്തു ഇന്നലെയും ഇന്നും എന്നെന്നേക്കും അനന്യന്‍ തന്നേ.
9Be not carried away with various and strange doctrines; for [it is] good that the heart be confirmed with grace, not meats; those who have walked in which have not been profited by [them].
9വിവിധവും അന്യവുമായ ഉപദേശങ്ങളാല്‍ ആരും നിങ്ങളെ വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകരുതു; ആചരിച്ചുപോന്നവര്‍ക്കും പ്രയോജനമില്ലാത്ത ഭോജനനിയമങ്ങളാലല്ല, കൃപയാല്‍ തന്നേ ഹൃദയം ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.
10We have an altar of which they have no right to eat who serve the tabernacle;
10കൂടാരത്തില്‍ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കും അഹോവൃത്തി കഴിപ്പാന്‍ അവകാശമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു യാഗപീഠം നമുക്കുണ്ടു.
11for of those beasts whose blood is carried [as sacrifices for sin] into the [holy of] holies by the high priest, of these the bodies are burned outside the camp.
11മഹാപുരോഹിതന്‍ പാപപരിഹാരമായി രക്തം വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ ഉടല്‍ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയുന്നു.
12Wherefore also Jesus, that he might sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered without the gate:
12അങ്ങനെ യേശുവും സ്വന്തരക്തത്താല്‍ ജനത്തെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നഗരവാതിലിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചു കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിച്ചു.
13therefore let us go forth to him without the camp, bearing his reproach:
13ആകയാല്‍ നാം അവന്റെ നിന്ദ ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു അവന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ ചെല്ലുക.
14for we have not here an abiding city, but we seek the coming one.
14ഇവിടെ നമുക്കു നിലനിലക്കുന്ന നഗരമില്ലല്ലോ, വരുവാനുള്ളതു അത്രേ നാം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതു.
15By him therefore let us offer [the] sacrifice of praise continually to God, that is, [the] fruit of [the] lips confessing his name.
15അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്‍ മുഖാന്തരം നാം ദൈവത്തിന്നു അവന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഏറ്റു പറയുന്ന അധരഫലം എന്ന സ്തോത്രയാഗം ഇടവിടാതെ അര്‍പ്പിക്കുക.
16But of doing good and communicating [of your substance] be not forgetful, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
16നന്മചെയ്‍വാനും കൂട്ടായ്മ കാണിപ്പാനും മറക്കരുതു. ഈവക യാഗത്തിലല്ലോ ദൈവം പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നതു.
17Obey your leaders, and be submissive; for *they* watch over your souls as those that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not groaning, for this [would be] unprofitable for you.
17നിങ്ങളെ നടത്തുന്നവരെ അനുസരിച്ചു കീഴടങ്ങിയിരിപ്പിന്‍ ; അവര്‍ കണകൂ ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടുന്നവരാകയാല്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ ആത്മാക്കള്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ജാഗരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതു അവര്‍ ഞരങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടല്ല സന്തോഷത്തോടെ ചെയ്‍വാന്‍ ഇടവരുത്തുവിന്‍ ; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു നന്നല്ല.
18Pray for us: for we persuade ourselves that we have a good conscience, in all things desirous to walk rightly.
18ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിപ്പിന്‍ . സകലത്തിലും നല്ലവരായി നടപ്പാന്‍ ഇച്ഛിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കു നല്ല മനസ്സാക്ഷി ഉണ്ടെന്നു ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഉറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
19But I much more beseech [you] to do this, that I may the more quickly be restored to you.
19എന്നെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വേഗത്തില്‍ വണ്ടും കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കേണം എന്നു ഞാന്‍ വിശേഷാല്‍ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
20But the God of peace, who brought again from among [the] dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, in [the power of the] blood of [the] eternal covenant,
20നിത്യനിയമത്തിന്റെ രക്തത്താല്‍ ആടുകളുടെ വലിയ ഇടയനായ നമ്മുടെ കര്‍ത്താവായ യേശുവിനെ മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയില്‍നിന്നു മടക്കിവരുത്തിയ സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ ദൈവം
21perfect you in every good work to the doing of his will, doing in you what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for the ages of ages. Amen.
21നിങ്ങളെ അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്‍വാന്‍ തക്കവണ്ണം എല്ലാനന്മയിലും യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തി തനിക്കു പ്രസാദമുള്ളതു യേശുക്രിസ്തുമുഖാന്തരം നമ്മില്‍ നിവര്‍ത്തിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; അവന്നു എന്നേക്കും മഹത്വം. ആമേന്‍ .
22But I beseech you, brethren, bear the word of exhortation, for it is but in few words that I have written to you.
22സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഈ പ്രബോധനവാക്യം പൊറുത്തുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ എന്നു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; ചുരുക്കമായിട്ടല്ലോ ഞാന്‍ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു.
23Know that our brother Timotheus is set at liberty; with whom, if he should come soon, I will see you.
23സഹോദരനായ തിമോഥെയോസ് തടവില്‍നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി എന്നു അറിവിന്‍ . അവന്‍ വേഗത്തില്‍ വന്നാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ അവനുമായി നിങ്ങളെ വന്നുകാണും.
24Salute all your leaders, and all the saints. They from Italy salute you.
24നിങ്ങളെ നടത്തുന്നവര്‍ക്കും എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും സകലവിശുദ്ധന്മാര്‍ക്കും വന്ദനം ചൊല്ലുവിന്‍ . ഇതല്യക്കാര്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വന്ദനം ചൊല്ലുന്നു.
25Grace [be] with you all. Amen.
