¹My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are mine.

¹ငါ့အသက်ကုန်ပြီ။ ငါနေရသော ကာလလွန်ပြီ။ သင်္ချိုင်းသည် ငါ့အဘို့ဖြစ်၏။

²Are there not mockers around me? and doth [not] mine eye abide in their provocation?

²ကဲ့ရဲ့တတ်သော သူတို့သည် ငါ့ရှေ့မှာရှိကြသည်မဟုတ်လော။ သူတို့နှောင့်ရှက်သော အခြင်းအရာတို့ကို အစဉ် ငါကြည့်မြင်ရသည်မဟုတ်လော။

³Lay down now [a pledge], be thou surety for me with thyself: who is he that striketh hands with me?

³အပေါင်ထားပါတော့။ အာမခံပေးပါတော့။ အဘယ်သူသည် ငါနှင့်ဂတိသစ္စထားမည်နည်း။

⁴For thou hast hidden their heart from understanding; therefore thou wilt not exalt [them].

⁴ကိုယ်တော်သည် သူတို့ဥာဏ် ကိုကွယ်စေတော် မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သူတို့ကို ချီးမြှောက်တော်မမူရ။

⁵He that betrayeth friends for a prey -- even the eyes of his children shall fail.

⁵အကြင်သူသည် ဥစ္စာကိုလုယူအံ့သောငှါ အဆွေခင်ပွန်းကို အပ်၏။ ထိုသူ၏သားတို့သည် မြော်လင့်၍ စိတ်ပျက်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁶And he hath made me a proverb of the peoples; and I am become one to be spit on in the face.

⁶ငါ့ကို သူတပါးကဲ့ရဲ့စရာ အကြောင်းဖြစ်စေတော်မူ၍၊ သူတို့သည် ငါ့ကိုရွံ့ကြ၏။

⁷And mine eye is dim by reason of grief, and all my members are as a shadow.

⁷ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းအားကြီးသောကြောင့် ငါ့မျက်စိ မှုန်၏။ ကိုယ်အင်္ဂါများတို့သည် အရိပ်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

⁸Upright men [shall be] astonished at this, and the innocent shall be stirred up against the ungodly;

⁸ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူတို့သည် ဤအမှုကြောင့် မိန်းမောတွေဝေကြလိမ့်မည်။ အပြစ်ကင်းလွတ်သော သူတို့သည် အဓမ္မလူများတဘက်က ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်နှိုးဆော် ကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁹But the righteous shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall increase in strength.

⁹ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူတို့သည်လည်း တည်ကြည်ခြင်း၊ လက်စင်ကြယ်သောသူတို့သည် ခွန်အားတိုးပွါးခြင်း ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁰But as for you all, pray come on again; and I shall not find one wise man among you.

¹⁰သင်တို့မူကား တယောက်မျှမကြွင်း၊ ပြန်သွားကြ ပါတော့။ သင်တို့တွင် ပညာရှိတစုံတယောက်ကိုမျှ ငါ မတွေ့နိုင်။

¹¹My days are past, my purposes are broken off, the cherished thoughts of my heart.

¹¹ငါ့နေ့ရက်လွန်ပြီ။ ငါနှလုံးသွင်းမိသော အကြံ အစည်တို့သည် ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြပြီ။

¹²They change the night into day; the light [they imagine] near in presence of the darkness.

¹²ညဉ့်သည် ငါ၌ နေကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါ့အလင်းသည် မှောင်မိုက်နှင့် နီးစပ်၏။

¹³If I wait, Sheol is my house; I spread my bed in the darkness:

¹³သင်္ချိုင်းသည် ငါ့နေရာဖြစ်သည်ကို ငါမြော်လင့် ၏။ ငါ့အိပ်ရာသည် မှောင်မိုက်၌ ခင်းလျက်ရှိ၏။

¹⁴I cry to the grave, Thou art my father! to the worm, My mother, and my sister!

¹⁴ပုပ်စပ်ခြင်းအား၊ သင်သည် ငါ့အဘဖြစ်၏ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ တီကောင်အား သင်သည်ငါ့အမိ၊ ငါ့နှမဖြစ် သည်ဟူ၍၎င်း ငါဆိုရ၏။

¹⁵And where is then my hope? yea, my hope, who shall see it?

¹⁵သို့ဖြစ်၍ အဘယ်သို့ ငါမြော်လင့်ရသနည်း။ ငါမြော်လင့်စရာအကြောင်းကို အဘယ်သူမြင်ရသနည်း။

¹⁶It shall go down to the bars of Sheol, when [our] rest shall be together in the dust.

¹⁶ထိုအကြောင်းသည် မရဏနိုင်ငံအထဲသို့ဝင်၍၊ ငါနှင့်အတူ မြေမှုန့်၌ နှိမ့်ချလျက်နေရမည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။
