¹And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,

¹တဖန်ရှုအာအမျိုးသား ဗိလဒဒ်မြွက်ဆိုသည် ကား၊

²How long will ye hunt for words? Be intelligent, and then we will speak.

²ဤစကားသည် အဘယ်အခါမှ ပြတ်လိမ့်မည် နည်း။ သတိပြုကြ။ သို့မှသာငါတို့သည် စကားပြောကြ မည်။

³Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed stupid in your sight?

³သင်သည်ငါတို့ကို တိရစ္ဆာန်ကဲ့သို့ အဘယ်ကြောင့် မှတ်သနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြု သနည်း။

⁴Thou that tearest thyself in thine anger, shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of its place?

⁴အမျက်ထွက်၍ မိမိကိုယ်ကို ကိုက်ဖြတ်သောသူ၊ သင့်အတွက် မြေကြီးကိုစွန့်ပစ်ရမည်လော။ ကျောက်သည် မိမိနေရာမှ ရွေ့ရမည်လော။

⁵Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the flame of his fire shall not shine.

⁵အကယ်စင်စစ်ဆိုးသောသူ၏ အလင်းသည် ကွယ်လိမ့်မည်။ သူ၏မီးလျှံမတောက်ရ။

⁶The light shall become dark in his tent, and his lamp over him shall be put out.

⁶သူ၏နေရာအလင်းလည်း မှောင်မိုက်ဖြစ်လိမ့် မည်။ သူ၏ဆီမီးလည်း သေလိမ့်မည်။

⁷The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

⁷ခိုင်ခံ့စွာသွားသောအခါ ကျဉ်းမြောင်းရာသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။ မိမိအကြံအစည်အားဖြင့် ရှုံးရလိမ့်မည်။

⁸For he is sent into the net by his own feet, and he walketh on the meshes;

⁸ပိုက်ထဲသို့ အလိုလိုဝင်တတ်၏။ ကျော့ကွင်းပေါ်မှာ နင်းတတ်၏။

⁹The gin taketh [him] by the heel, the snare layeth hold on him;

⁹ဂိုင်းပြုတ်၍ ခြေကို မိသဖြင့် ကျော့ကွင်းနှင့် မကျွတ်နိုင်ဘဲ နေရ၏။

¹⁰A cord is hidden for him in the ground, and his trap in the way.

¹⁰မြေ၌ဂျမ်းကြိုးကို သူ့အဘို့ ဝှက်ထားလျက်၊ သူသွားရာလမ်း၌ ထောင်ချောက်ကို ပြင်လျက်ရှိ၏။

¹¹Terrors make him afraid on every side, and chase him at his footsteps.

¹¹ကြောက်မက်ဘွယ်သော အခြင်းအရာတို့သည် ဝိုင်း၍ ကျပ်တည်းစွာ လိုက်နှင့်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹²His strength is hunger-bitten, and calamity is ready at his side.

¹²သူသည် ငတ်မွတ်သောအားဖြင့် အားလျော့လျက်၊ ပျက်စီးခြင်း ဘေးနှင့် တွေ့လုလျက်ရှိ၏။

¹³The firstborn of death devoureth the members of his body; it will devour his members.

¹³ထိုဘေးသည် သူ၏အရိုးတို့ကို ကိုက်ခဲ၍၊ သေမင်း၏သားဦးသည် သူ၏ခွန်အားကို မျိုလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁴His confidence shall be rooted out of his tent, and it shall lead him away to the king of terrors:

¹⁴သူခိုလှုံရာအကြောင်းကို သူ၏နေရာမှ ပယ်ရှင်း၍၊ သူ့ကိုယ်ကို ဘေးဒဏ်တို့၏ ရှင်ဘုရင်ထံသို့ ဆောင် သွားရ၏။

¹⁵They who are none of his shall dwell in his tent; brimstone shall be showered upon his habitation:

¹⁵သူ၏နေရာ၌ အရှင်မရှိ။ ပျက်စီးခြင်းဘေးနေ၍ အမိုးပေါ်မှာ ကန့်ဖြူးလျက်ရှိလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁶His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off;

¹⁶သူ၏အမြစ်တို့သည် သွေ့ခြောက်လျက်၊ အခက်အလက်တို့လည်း သေလျက်ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁷His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name on the pasture-grounds.

¹⁷မြေပေါ်မှာသူ့ကို အောက်မေ့စရာအမှတ် ပျောက်ပျက်၍၊ ပွဲသဘင်၌ သူ၏နာမကို အဘယ်သူမျှ မခေါ်မပြော။

¹⁸He is driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

¹⁸သူ့ကိုအလင်းထဲက မှောင်မိုက်ထဲသို့ မောင်း၍ လူ့ပြည်မှ နှင်ထုတ်ရ၏။

¹⁹He hath neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining in the places of his sojourn.

¹⁹သူ့အမျိုးတွင် သူ့သားမြေးမရှိ။ သူ၏အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားတယောက်မျှ မကျန်ရစ်ရ။

²⁰They that come after shall be astonished at his day, as they that went before [them] were affrighted.

²⁰သူ၏လက်ထက်၌ရှိသော သူတို့သည် ထိတ်လန့်သကဲ့သို့၊ သူ့နောက်၌ဖြစ်သော သူတို့သည် သူ၏အမှု ကြောင့် မိန်းမောတွေဝေကြလိမ့်မည်။

²¹Surely, such are the dwellings of the unrighteous man, and such the place of him that knoweth not ùGod.

²¹အကယ်စင်စစ်ဆိုးသော သူ၏နေရာသည် ထိုသို့သော လက္ခဏာရှိ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုမသိသောသူ သည် ထိုသို့သော နေရာသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်ဟု မြွက်ဆိ၏။
