¹Howbeit, Job, I pray thee, hear mine utterances, and hearken to all my words.

¹သို့ဖြစ်၍ အိုယောဘ၊ ငါမြွက်ဆိုသောစကား အလုံးစုံတို့ကို နားထောင်နာယူပါလော့။

²Behold now, I have opened my mouth, my tongue speaketh in my palate,

²ငါသည် ယခုနှုတ်ကိုဖွင့်၍ လျှာနှင့်မြွက်ဆိုသော အခါ၊

³My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart, and my lips shall utter knowledge purely.

³ငါသဘောဖြောင့်သည်နှင့်အညီ ငါ့စကား ဖြောင့်လိမ့်မည်။ ငါ့နှုတ်သည်ရှင်းလင်းသော ပညာစကား ကို မြွက်ဆိုလိမ့်မည်။

⁴The Spirit of ùGod hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

⁴ဘုရားသခင်၏ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် ငါ့ကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူပြီ။ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်၏ အသက်တော် သည် ငါ့ကို အသက်ရှင်စေတော်မူပြီ။

⁵If thou canst, answer me; array [thy words] before me: take thy stand.

⁵သင်သည်တတ်နိုင်လျှင် ငါ့ကို ပြန်ပြောလော့။ ကိုယ်စကားကို ပြင်ဆင်လော့။ ကြိုးစားလော့။

⁶Behold, before ùGod I am as thou; I also am formed out of the clay.

⁶ဘုရားသခင့်ရှေ့မှာ ငါသည်သင်နှင့်တူ၏။ ငါသည်လည်း မြေမှုန့်ဖြင့် ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူရာဖြစ်၏။

⁷Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, nor my burden be heavy upon thee.

⁷သင်သည် ကြောက်ရွံ့ရမည်အကြောင်း ငါ၌ ကြောက်မက်ဘွယ်သော အရာမရှိ။ သင့်အပေါ်မှာ ငါသည် လေးသောလက်ကိုမတင်။

⁸Surely thou hast spoken in my hearing, and I have heard the voice of [thy] words: --

⁸အကယ်စင်စစ်သင့်စကားသံကို ငါကြားသည် အတိုင်း သင်မြွက်ဆိုသောစကားဟူမူကား၊

⁹I am clean without transgression; I am pure, and there is no iniquity in me;

⁹ငါသည် စင်ကြယ်သောသဘောရှိ၏။ ပြစ်မှား ခြင်းကို မပြုတတ်။ ငါ၌အပြစ်မရှိ။ သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းရှိ၏။

¹⁰Lo, he findeth occasions of hostility against me, he counteth me for his enemy;

¹⁰ဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါ၌ အပြစ်တင်ခွင့်ကို ရှာတော်မူ၏။ ငါ့ကို ရန်သူကဲ့သို့ မှတ်တော်မူ၏။

¹¹He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.

¹¹ငါ့ကို ထိတ်ခတ်တော်မူ၏။ ငါထွက်ရာလမ်းရှိ သမျှတို့ကို စောင့်တော်မူ၏ဟု ဆိုမိပြီ။

¹²Behold, I will answer thee in this, thou art not right; for +God is greater than man.

¹²ထိုသို့ဆိုသော်မှားပြီ။ ငါပြန်ပြောသောစကားဟူ မူကား၊ အကယ်စင်စစ် ဘုရားသခင်သည် လူထက် ကြီးမြတ်တော်မူ၏။

¹³Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

¹³ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက် ပြုသနည်း။ ပြုတော်မူသော အမှုတို့၏အကြောင်းကို ပြတော်မမူ။

¹⁴For ùGod speaketh once, and twice, -- [and man] perceiveth it not --

¹⁴ဘုရားသခင်သည် တကြိမ်မိန့်မြွက်တော်မူ၏။ လူမရိပ်မိလျှင် နှစ်ကြိမ်တိုင်အောင် မိန်မြွက်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁵In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

¹⁵လူသည်အိပ်ရာပေါ်မှာငိုက်လျက် အိပ်ပျော် လျက်နေသောအခါ အိပ်မက်မြင်၍၊ ညဉ့်ရူပါရုံကို ခံရသောအားဖြင့်၊

¹⁶Then he openeth men's ears, and sealeth their instruction,

¹⁶ဘုရားသခင်သည် လူ၏နားကို ဖွင့်၍ ဆုံးမပေး တော်မူတတ်၏။

¹⁷That he may withdraw man [from his] work, and hide pride from man.

¹⁷ထိုသို့လူသည် မိမိအကြံကိုစွန့်စေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ မာန်မာနနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်စေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း ပြုတော်မူ၏။

¹⁸He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from passing away by the sword.

¹⁸သူ၏အသက်ကို သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်းမှကွယ်ကာ၍၊ ထားဘေးဖြင့် မသေစေခြင်းငှါ စောင့်မတော်မူ၏။

¹⁹He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and with constant strife in his bones;

¹⁹လူသည် အိပ်ရာပေါ်မှာနာခြင်းဝေဒနာကို ခံရ ၍၊ အရိုးရှိသမျှတို့သည် ပြင်းထန်စွာ ကိုက်ခဲသဖြင့်၊

²⁰And his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty food;

²⁰မုန့်နှင့်မြိန်သော ခဲဘွယ်စားဘွယ်တို့ကို သူ၏ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်သည် ရွံ့ရှာ၏။

²¹His flesh is consumed away from view, and his bones that were not seen stick out;

²¹အသားအရေပိန်လျော့ ကွယ်ပျောက်၍၊ မထင် ရှားဘူးသော အရိုးတို့လည်း ပေါ်ကြ၏။

²²And his soul draweth near to the pit, and his life to the destroyers.

²²အသက်ဝိညာဉ်သည် သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်းနားသို့၎င်း၊ ဖျက်ဆီးသော တမန်လက်သို့၎င်း ရောက်လုပြီ။

²³If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his duty;

²³သို့ရာတွင်လူတို့အားတရားလမ်းကို ပြစေခြင်းငှါ၊ တထောင်တွင် အထွဋ်ဖြစ်၍၊ တရားစကားကို ပြန်တတ် သော တမန်ရှိလျှင်၊

²⁴Then he will be gracious unto him, and say, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

²⁴ဘုရားသခင်က၊ သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်းထဲသို့ထိုသူကို မဆင်းစေဘဲ ကယ်တင်လော့။ ရွေးရာအကြောင်းကို ငါတွေ့ပြီဟု ကရုဏာစိတ်ရှိ၍ မိန့်တော်မူသောအားဖြင့်၊

²⁵His flesh shall be fresher than in childhood; he shall return to the days of his youth.

²⁵ထိုသူသည် သူငယ်ထက်အသားအရေနုထွား၍ ပျိုသောအသက်နှင့်တဖန်ပြည့်စုံလိမ့်မည်။

²⁶He shall pray unto +God, and he will receive him with favour; and he shall see his face with shoutings, and he will render unto man his righteousness.

²⁶ဘုရားသခင်ကို ဆုတောင်း၍ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ခံရသဖြင့်၊ ဝမ်းမြောက်သောစိတ်နှင့် မျက်နှာတော်ကို ဖူးမြင်ရလိမ့်မည်။ ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းအကျိုးကို လူတို့အား ဘုရားသခင်ပေးတော်မူတတ်၏။

²⁷He will sing before men, and say, I have sinned, and perverted what was right, and it hath not been requited to me;

²⁷သူကလည်း၊ ငါသည် ပြစ်မှားပါပြီ။ မှန်သော တရားကိုမှောက် ပါပြီ။ သို့သော်လည်း ကိုယ်ခံထိုက်သော အပြစ်ကိုမခံရဘဲ၊

²⁸He hath delivered my soul from going into the pit, and my life shall see the light.

²⁸သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်းထဲသို့ ငါ့ကိုမဆင်းစေဘဲ ကယ်တင် တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ငါ့အသက်သည် မှောင်မိုက်နှင့် လွတ် လျက်ရှိ၏ဟု လူတို့တွင် သီချင်းဆိုရလိမ့်မည်။

²⁹Lo, all these [things] worketh ùGod twice, thrice, with man,

²⁹ထိုသို့ဘုရားသခင်သည် လူတို့၌ ရံခါရံခါစီရင် တော်မူသဖြင့်၊

³⁰To bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of the living.

³⁰သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်းမှနှုတ်ယူ၍၊ အသက်ရှင်သော သူတို့၏အလင်းနှင့် လင်းစေတော်မူ၏။

³¹Mark well, Job, hearken unto me; be silent, and I will speak.

³¹အိုယောဘ၊ ငါ့စကားကို သတိနှင့်နားထောင် လော့။ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေလော့။ ငါပြောပါမည်။

³²If thou hast anything to say, answer me; speak, for I desire to justify thee.

³²သို့သော်လည်း ပြောစရာရှိလျှင် ပြန်ပြောလော့။ သင့်ကို အပြစ်လွတ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ငါအလိုရှိသောကြောင့် စကားပြောလော့။

³³If not, hearken thou unto me; be silent, and I will teach thee wisdom.

³³ပြောစရာမရှိလျှင်၊ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေ၍ ငါ့စကားကို နားထောင်လော့။ ပညာကိုငါသွန်သင်ပါမည် ဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။
